The Lord of the Rings: Lords of Middle-earth.

Chapter 1115 Your Uncle Roland knelt with great dignity!

Chapter 1115 Your Uncle Roland knelt with great dignity!

"Of course, please do as you wish! I will have the townspeople vacate some houses for you. Although it's not enough for the entire army, it's enough for the lords!" Mayor Golden Egg said softly, patting his chest.

"Thank you for your trouble, sir!" Roland nodded and watched Mayor Golden Egg leave.

……

“So many years have passed! He has grown old!” Roland remarked.

“Yes! When I saw him back then, he was still in good health, but now he has white hair!” Caslo nodded and echoed Roland’s sentiments.

"You've been with me for so long, thank you for everything! Thirteen years... and you're still by my side just like when we first met!" Roland patted Caslo on the shoulder. This was the true elder of the kingdom! Employee number 001! The strictest father among the orcs!
"You flatter me! It is my duty and responsibility! It is my honor to meet you!" Caslo shook his head. Being selected for the Fire Seed Project meant dedicating his loyalty and the rest of his life to the Empire; the concept of time had become meaningless!
"Let's go back and get some rest this time! I don't want to fight anymore... I'm tired!" Roland looked at the starry sky, a sense of weariness and fear flashing through his mind for no reason. He was afraid of war; he was afraid that war would destroy his kingdom and his life.

“This is not like Your Majesty!” Caslo chuckled softly, resting his hand on the hilt of his sword.

"Shouldn't you be yelling 'Kill! Kill! Kill!' and then jumping up to be hacked to death by those orcs, barbarians, and Ringwraiths?"

"And the story of Killing Brother?" Roland's lips twitched. In your eyes, am I just a warmongering king?
"Am I that ruthless?" Roland retorted.

“Of course not, you are using the sword in your hand to help the empire realize its dream of revival!” Caslo said earnestly to Roland.

"Thanks for the comfort!" Roland shrugged.

“I’m serious, Your Majesty! You’re moving too fast! So fast that the kingdom can’t keep up with your pace! You should take a break! The kingdom needs to digest, and the alliance needs to grow! Forcing growth will only make us die faster!” Caslo said earnestly.

"You mean I took too big a step and hurt myself?" Roland chuckled self-deprecatingly.

“I had no such intention!” Caslow said, somewhat alarmed.

“I know, I know, but time waits for no one. I only want the nation to be able to protect itself in the storms to come!” Roland said solemnly. This wasn’t the Middle-earth from the original stories! This Middle-earth was a world of demons, and most of the gods had fallen. Where had the original plot gone? Roland had no idea. It had been completely changed since the Battle of the Five Armies! Roland dared not gamble on Aragorn saving the world and Frodo destroying the One Ring. Climbing a volcano and setting the Ring on fire, as depicted in the original stories, seemed like a complete fantasy now! Roland’s own mental power could cover the entire outskirts of Lagrange, let alone Sauron, a quasi-god!

“You’re too tired! This will wear you down!” Caslo said earnestly.

“We will face everything in the future together, instead of you bearing it all alone!” Caslow shook his head.

“No, you don’t understand, what darkness that is! I am the king! The future emperor! This is my responsibility!” Roland said, gazing south, each word distinct.

“Even an emperor can’t do everything himself, can he? You’re practically burning the candle at both ends!” Caslo shook his head.

“Yes, Your Majesty! You should consider having a prince!” Marquis Al-Tegran-Franz interjected cautiously.

“This is none of your business!” Roland glanced at Marquis Al-Tegran Franz, who immediately shut his mouth.

“I think he has a point! You’d better have one soon! Otherwise you’ll kill yourself and we’ll lose our king!” Caslo mocked.

"That was an accident!" Roland insisted.

“But accidents always come before hopes, don’t they? In order to prevent accidents from happening again, I suggest you still have to work hard!” Caslo patted Roland on the shoulder and looked in the direction of little Roland with affection.

"???" "What do you mean? What kind of look is that? Are you insulting me? Have I been too easy to talk to? Have you forgotten the majesty of a king?" Roland's lips twitched wildly.

"Come on, after all these years, don't I know you? Your Majesty, my lord? I've witnessed your growth all along! You're too kind! This kindness might hurt you in the future!" Caslo sighed.

"Harm? I believe in your loyalty!" Roland shook his head. The system should offer after-sales support, right? What happened to the promised loyalty?

“But you’re not just facing us!” Caslo said helplessly.

"Yes! Now all sorts of demons and monsters are out! Don't worry, my kindness is only for a select few humans and intelligent beings!" Roland shook his head. He wasn't a saint; he wouldn't hesitate to transform into a killer if necessary! Roland would rather repent before the corpses afterward than accept an apology after a tragedy!
"Don't worry! I'll retire when I get home this time!" Roland said seriously.

"???" Marquis Al-Tegran Franz was stunned and quickly tugged at Caslo. "I told you to persuade him to stop his constant 'Imperial Expedition' to the game, but why are you trying to dissuade the kid from playing?"

"You believe him? Believe it or not, when the Dongyi people come back in a couple of days, he'll be even more excited than you, sword in hand?" Caslo said, as if he knew Roland inside and out.

"..." Marquis Al-Tegran Franz.

"..." Roland, you have a really good eye for people!

"You should think about how to face Queen Nyx when you get back! I don't care, just keep fighting! Fight until the kingdom is destroyed and the people are displaced, I'll just risk my life for you!" Caslo waved his hand, looking completely indifferent.

"..." Roland shuddered upon hearing this. How come you, Caslo, are also the Lagrange Weightlifting King?

"Ahem, I have a brilliant plan for Nyx!" Roland said, looking every bit the expert.

"Oh?" Al-Tegran Franz and Caslo's eyes lit up, looking on with anticipation.

……

"Pfft!"

“My dearest wife! Your loyal partner Roland has returned! I know I was wrong!” Roland knelt down decisively without the slightest hesitation, sliding to his knees as soon as he entered the castle of Swiftstream City.

“…” Caslo and Al Tegrand Franz exchanged a glance.

"Is this what he meant by 'absolutely foolproof'?" Marquis Al-Tegran Franz muttered under his breath.

"His brilliant plan is this?" Caslo's lips twitched.

“But you must say it! His Majesty is His Majesty!” Marquis Al-Tegran Franz’s eyes suddenly lit up.

"What do you mean?" Duke Yunfeng, who had been watching the commotion, came over.

"Don't you think His Majesty looks quite dignified kneeling like this?" Marquis Al-Tegran Franz stroked his chin and examined him.

"..." Yun Feng and Caslo exchanged a glance. Truly, the Franz family is something else! They even managed to take a picture of this!
