Chapter 866 Parasite!
What's going on?

Hu Ming was startled by the sudden, eerie laughter and quickly turned around to look.

Donald, who was next to him, also shuddered and almost collapsed to the ground.

Hu Ming turned around and saw one of Donald's personal bodyguards hugging a towering ancient tree with a strange expression, chuckling foolishly.

"Is this guy crazy?"

Donald turned around and looked back, cursing angrily.

"Hey, what's wrong with you? If you don't want to work here, then give me your money and get out of here!"

As he said this, he strode forward aggressively, intending to shove the subordinate who had embarrassed him.

"Mr. Don't go near him!"

Meanwhile, the other private bodyguards rushed over and quickly restrained the impulsive Donald.

"What are you doing? Trying to rebel?"

When Donald saw that his men dared to obstruct him, he flew into a rage and shouted, "What, you lowly poor people, do you dare to disobey my orders?"

The private bodyguards shook their heads repeatedly and hurriedly began to explain.

"Mr. Donald, it's not like that. It's just that Jack suddenly became possessed, and we're afraid he'll hurt you!"

Possessed by an evil spirit?

Upon hearing this, Donald immediately narrowed his eyes with some suspicion.

Hu Ming, who was walking up, approached with a wary expression and shook his head at Donald.

"You'd better listen to your subordinate!"

Donald said unhappily, "I don't need these people to teach me."

"Suit yourself, but you'd better not go there right now!"

Hu Ming took out a high-powered flashlight from his waist, held it in his hand, and shone it on the private bodyguard who was hugging the tree and grinning foolishly.

"Hey hey hey-"

The silly-looking bodyguard didn't react to the bright light at all; he just chuckled and licked the rough bark of the tree in front of him.

Upon seeing this frightening scene, Donald took a step back and exclaimed in astonishment.

"Holy crap, Jack's really gone mad! What happened? He was perfectly fine just a moment ago!"

Donald's personal bodyguards immediately began to report the situation in a flurry of voices.

"Jack must be possessed by the demon on this forbidden island."

"Stop talking nonsense, that's not how it is at all. I think Jack has a hereditary mental illness."

"Mr. Donald, it's like this, just now that kid Jack picked up a bright red stone from the ground, he turned into this horrible mess!"

Donald's head spun as he listened to the nonsensical report.

He looked to Hu Ming, an expert in this field, for help.

"Hu Ming, what do you think?"

Hu Ming looked thoughtful, stepped forward, pointed at one of the bodyguards who had just spoken, and pressed him for an answer.

"You just said Jack picked up a bright red stone, where is that stone now?"

The bodyguard pointed at the crazed Jack and gave a hint.

"I just saw it with my own eyes. After Jack glanced at it, he grinned like an idiot and hid the red stone in his pocket."

Hu Ming touched the tip of his nose and sighed softly, "So, the only way to figure out what's going on right now is to control Jack."

He waved to the group of private bodyguards behind him and gave them a serious order.

"Everyone, lend a hand and help me subdue this crazed Jack!"

The private bodyguards frowned, exchanging glances and showing no sign of cooperation.

Upon seeing this, Donald became so angry that he started cursing.

"What, none of you want to move? What's the point of me keeping you around?"

Seeing their boss get angry, the private bodyguards quickly sprang into action, rushing forward to surround Jack.

"Hey hey hey-"

However, to everyone's surprise, the crazed Jack reacted with astonishing speed. As slippery as an eel, he managed to escape despite being surrounded by the crowd.

"Friend, you'd better stay here obediently!"

Hu Ming quietly approached the crazed Jack, raised his foot, and kicked him back into the crowd chasing after him.

"Drink-"

Seeing the opportunity, the group of burly bodyguards rushed forward, pinned Jack down, and subdued him.

Hu Ming stepped forward, squatted down, and carefully examined Jack's crazed eyes.

A scarlet line appeared, piercing through Jack's pupil and writhing continuously. It was terrifying.

He was as slippery as an eel, and despite being surrounded by people, he still managed to escape with agility.

A scarlet line appeared, passing through Jack's pupil and wriggling continuously.

"Hey, have you figured it out yet?"

Donald cautiously approached from behind and hesitantly asked the question.

Hu Ming continued to move his right hand down, beginning to search Jack's chest.

"It looks like he's been parasitized by something!"

Hu Ming, with a complicated expression, explained what he had discovered.

"What the hell? Parasites? You're not kidding me, are you?"

Donald's expression immediately changed, and his hair slowly stood on end, like a frightened golden retriever.

"This is just a preliminary speculation!"

As Hu Ming spoke, he reached down and groped around with his hand.

He felt his fingertips touch a scalding hot stone.

"This is it!"

Hu Ming exerted his strength and snatched the object he was holding from Jack's arms.

In the dappled sunlight, in Hu Ming's hand lay a horrifyingly red stone.

The surface of the stone has fine red lines that move slowly and continuously within them.

"Damn it, this isn't a rock at all, it's an egg!"

After examining the insect eggs closely for a few moments, Hu Ming's expression changed drastically. He dropped the eggs and quickly stood up.

Donald, who was behind him, was so frightened by these words that he backed away repeatedly.

"What?! You're not kidding, are you?"

He swallowed hard, looking fearfully at Hu Ming, whose face was gloomy.

"I also hope this is just a bad joke!"

Hu Ming vigorously swung his wrist, and several crawling red worms fell to the ground as he did so.

The private bodyguards on the side, seeing this horrifying scene, all stepped back, afraid of getting even the slightest bit of it on them.

"These useless bastards!"

Donald was so angry at the disgraceful performance of his men that he started cursing.

Hu Ming looked closely at Jike, who was staring blankly at the tree and licking it incessantly, and shook his head helplessly.

"We can't help him in the current situation. Let's leave him here for now, and we'll take him away together when we get back!"

Donald nodded repeatedly: "That's right. If we leave Jack here, what if that parasite gets on me again if he comes with us?"

The private bodyguards exchanged glances, but none of them dared to disobey their boss's orders!
