The Most Powerful Brain in the Interstellar Space

Chapter 3 Traveling through time and space

Chapter 3 Traveling through time and space
It is understood that the speed of light is the fastest speed known to humankind, while time is a comprehensive physical quantity used by humankind to define the dynamic and static states of all things.

There has always been a legend on Earth that if a person can exceed the speed of light and reach a certain momentum, it is possible to reverse time or even travel through space and time.

Conversely, if someone could travel through the flow of time, could they witness the speed of light?
On the night of the meteor shower, no one knew that a wisp of soul from Earth was carried away by the torrent of time, drifting into the vast and boundless universe.

It drifts aimlessly in the river of time, traveling at the speed of trillions of light, accompanied by the sun, moon, and stars, unaware and unaware of its destination.

Finally, this consciousness awoke from its long slumber, as if traversing an ancient wilderness, slowly descending, and was eventually drawn to a familiar aiming point.

In a fleeting moment, a wisp of a soul returns to its resting place, and a new flower of life blooms anew.

In the 9983rd year of the Eighth Star Calendar, a region on the continental plate of planet number 732, a Xuan-level planet in the permanent star system, is also experiencing a meteor shower.

However, the locals are already used to this scenery, and no one lingers here for it.

In an apartment building, the light in one of the apartments suddenly turned on, and the room remained silent for a long time.

Not detecting any living creatures moving, the automatic sensor's light went out immediately. After a while, a low moaning sound came from inside the room, like that of a small animal, confused and bewildered.

In the darkness, a pair of eyes slowly opened. In an instant, a strange light flashed across the pupils, then quickly flowed out from the corners of the eyes.

"Ugh... it hurts so much, what's going on..." The person lying on the ground quickly reacted and instinctively groaned in pain. However, he seemed to still not be able to control a function that seemed to have been dormant for a long time. Everything he did was sluggish, and his speech was mumbled and he had a terrible lisp.

Fortunately, she wasn't talking to anyone at the moment; she was just talking to herself, so no one had to bother to figure it out.

After a long while, her small body finally managed to half-support herself up, but she also seemed to have lost the ability to feel her hands, feet and limbs. She had some difficulty controlling her hands and feet and it took her three attempts to successfully stabilize half of her body.

Detecting her movement, the lights automatically turned on again, and this time all three rows of lights in the bedroom were on, illuminating the room brightly.

Suddenly, a bright light shone into her eyes, and the girl squinted instinctively, feeling a stinging pain in her eyes.

The girl propped herself up, her eyes hazy, her mind still a blur, unable to distinguish between reality and illusion, her head empty, filled with a continuous buzzing sound.

Where is this...?

After a long while, my thoughts finally connected with my brain. The scenes before I lost consciousness flashed back, followed by large patches of unclear alternation between light and dark, a state of chaos and incomprehension, until I opened my eyes just now.

She couldn't have been electrocuted by a bucket of instant noodles, could she?

No, even death hurts? Oh my god, this hurts so much! The ground was cold enough; she felt a damp, chilly sensation on her back, a strange, rusty smell lingered in her nostrils, and her mouth was dry and sore. How serious must it be to have caught a cold so quickly?

She should sit up first. She felt inexplicably dizzy, and the back of her head was numb; she probably fell backward and hit her head on the ground.

What terrible bad luck!
Should she be thankful that she wasn't directly killed or had her occipital lobe damaged, and that she could still maintain a relatively clear mind...? Well, she wasn't so sure anymore. Could she have actually injured her occipital lobe?

The layout of the house seems to have changed drastically. Could it be that her vision has been impaired, distorting her normal spatial perception... otherwise, why would Jiang Hui feel like she doesn't recognize her own home?
Jiang Hui stared wide-eyed, surveying her surroundings for a long while before blinking hard.

No, this isn't her room! And she remembers being at the computer desk in the living room just now, but this is—clearly an unfamiliar bedroom.

Where is she? Who rescued her and brought her here? And how did she end up lying on the ground for no reason...? So many questions, Jiang Hui thought. She had only taken a nap, how come the whole world had changed when she woke up?

Before she could figure out what was going on, the lights suddenly went out again, and everything went dark.

“×&%¥#@…” Jiang Hui thought to himself, "So when you're down on your luck, even drinking cold water can cause problems." What's going on now? A power outage?

She didn't understand, and stood up unsteadily, her legs seemed to be trembling, her body felt heavy and strained, and she could only stand up by supporting herself on what she couldn't tell was a table or something else.

In this extremely difficult situation, Jiang Hui finally managed to stand up from that damned floor, and her body was finally not so cold anymore. The room lights suddenly switched on again, illuminating the entire space.

Half a minute later, Jiang Hui looked helplessly at this completely unfamiliar place. Now she was certain that the function of her occipital lobe was not damaged, and she hadn't been mistaken; this was simply not her home.

This was a very spacious room, easily forty or fifty square meters, not counting the two entrances on either side, which were partially concealed by stylishly designed doorways, making it impossible to see the layout inside. Jiang Hui guessed it was probably inside the bathroom and walk-in closet; overall, it appeared very spacious.

The wall is covered with long, white, grid-like panels. I don't know what material they are, but they don't look glaring under the light. Instead, they have a soft, luminous glow, giving them a sophisticated design feel.

The large bed in the center of the room features a neutral color scheme and a conventional shape. The bedding is in a dark, low-saturation tone, and the bed frame extends outwards to a large wooden platform. Below that is the wooden floor covering the entire room, with subtle, moving patterns. Opposite the platform is a large open space with curtains hanging, seemingly for floor-to-ceiling windows. The curtains, woven with a silver embroidery technique, appear very heavy, allowing no light to enter and obscuring the view outside.

There were also other bedside tables, a desk, a large floor-to-ceiling bookshelf, and some large decorative items of unknown origin... The owner of this room exuded an air of "I'm not short of money" from head to toe.

This is probably Jiang Hui's favorite style; she once dreamed of decorating her room in this style someday. If it weren't for the current situation, she would probably be very willing to go up and admire it.

But more than enjoying this room full of strangers, Jiang Hui wanted to know what had happened and how she ended up in such a completely unfamiliar place after waking up.

So, where exactly is this place?
