Chapter 60 Major Events
If you don't eat ginger, you will feel very uncomfortable, and may even feel dizzy and weak.

Last time, she was hungry and, thinking she was in the mental space, she was too lazy to find something to eat, and ended up fainting from hunger in the space. Then, when she woke up in reality the next day, her head was throbbing with pain, and she felt completely drained.

Fortunately, Jiang Hui ate a piece of bread and drank a sedative, which calmed her down. Otherwise, she would probably have had to go to the hospital for the third time in less than a month since she came to the interstellar space.

Suppressing the intense hunger, Jiang Hui originally planned to spend some more time in the study. However, while cleaning up the pots and pans, she was surprised to find something lying on the empty computer desk.

Jiang Hui was still somewhat skeptical of her eyes, but after taking a few steps closer, she discovered that it was indeed there. A miniature mecha model... well, a mecha model missing two arms and a bunch of loose, unassembled parts.

Isn't this the mecha model she didn't finish assembling today?!

So what criteria are used to define the things that are brought into this spiritual space?

Some things you have to think about, some you can't figure out no matter how hard you try, and some things just come to mind without you even having to think about them.

The more she observed this mental space, the more strange it seemed. It was said to exist in reality, yet it was something that completely violated scientific principles. However, if you called it an idealistic stream of consciousness, it also possessed realism and precision, and actually adhered to scientific principles quite well…

In any case, these seemingly contradictory rules were really confusing Jiang Hui. So she should use them more often to better grasp the overall characteristics of this space.

Jiang Hui picked up the miniature mecha model on the table and casually fiddled with it for a while. But when her gaze fell on the remaining parts next to it, a glimmer of light suddenly flashed in her eyes.

When it was light the next morning, Jiang Hui was no longer in bed. The blankets were neatly folded, and the room was empty.

Then I saw that she was already sitting in the living room, browsing her personal computer. On the table was a miniature mecha model, the unfinished product she had brought back from the Dongbo Group branch yesterday.

It can no longer be called a semi-finished product. Jiang Hui finished assembling all the remaining parts. It now looks almost identical to the one the teacher demonstrated at Dongbo Group yesterday—at least in terms of appearance.

It turns out that Dongbo Group really did replicate the experimental materials for each participant on a one-to-one basis, based on the demonstration model. Later, Jiang Hui searched on the computer and found that such miniature mecha models would cost several thousand star coins. Dongbo Group gave each participant a large package of these models for free; they were truly generous.

She discovered this thing in her mental space last night, and afterwards she barely slept at all, constantly fiddling with it.

For more than ten hours after waking up, she repeatedly fiddled with the device, assembling and disassembling it, then assembling it again, and then using the method she hadn't been able to use in the conference room earlier that day... She kept assembling it until she left the mental space, and Jiang Hui was still somewhat unsatisfied.

Once outside, she remembered that she was no longer in the mental space but in reality, and she had brought back the miniature mecha model as well. She could go and study the physical object directly, so she jumped out of bed and went to the living room to rummage through the things to examine them.

So Jiang Hui didn't sleep all night last night, studying this miniature mecha model until this time.

I must say, this thing is actually quite fun. No wonder interstellar people love mechs so much. Even a toy model with absolutely no practical combat use or attack power is still so interesting. Jiang Hui had to suppress his urge to order a bunch of mech models on the StarNet and clicked on the "Today's News" section.

She hadn't forgotten what happened at the Dongbo Group branch yesterday; the situation was still unclear. If it were something earth-shattering, it would probably be on the front page today.

Although it had nothing to do with her anymore, the thrilling experience she had yesterday inexplicably bothered Jiang Hui, so she waited until the Star Report was updated the next day to check it out.

As expected, her feeling was correct; today's Planet Daily was different from the usual ones. Considering it's a new planet, the area is quite large, and there are many things to do. Even the biggest events only get a few lines of coverage, which is already quite impressive.

But today's headlines seem different from usual. When you enter, there's a whole section, and even after scrolling down a few times, you still haven't reached the bottom.

Upon closer inspection, wasn't this the same incident they had yesterday?

Imperial rebels have been discovered within the Dongbo Group; the Imperial Third Legion has dispatched several squads for emergency arrests.

The following sections are all small snippets of analysis, extending the various news items in the main headline. This scale shows just how significant this matter must be on their planet.

Wow... they actually mobilized legion members, and not just ordinary soldiers, but entire squads. Who are these rebels jumping around outside, some bigwig?
Jiang Hui had only been in interstellar space for a short time, just over half a month. However, through her tireless efforts, she had already caught up on a considerable amount of knowledge, and with the remaining common sense from the original owner of the body, she could now live in interstellar space without much difficulty.

However, the original owner of this body knew more about military matters because both of her parents were soldiers. She had grown up in that environment and knew a bit about it.

For example, although the empire has hundreds or even thousands of legions, the true strength of the empire lies in only nineteen of them. They belong to the highest-ranking group in the empire's official organization, and enjoy far greater treatment and rights than soldiers of the same rank in other legions.

For example, the original owner's parents were actually officers of the Eighth Legion. Their deployment to the border was not their primary duty, but rather an order from the legion to assist the defense forces in combat.

Unfortunately, the commander of the defense forces on that front made a misjudgment, which led to the collapse of the entire front. Jiang's parents sacrificed themselves on the battlefield in order to turn the tide of the war, leaving the original owner of the body with only one child to grow up alone.

...That's a bit of a digression. So, it means that Jiang Hui learned a lot about the legion from his original memories and his father's military notes.

The legion is not a loose, unstructured entity; it has a clear hierarchy and a layered framework. The legion commander is naturally the person in charge who holds the most power in the legion. Under him are two deputy legion commanders and a supervisor, and below them are layers of positions and officers of various ranks, which will not be discussed in detail.

In addition to ordinary soldiers under different officers, the legion also has some special combat teams.

These squads are led by outstanding generals within the legion and are primarily responsible for important special missions or serving as the vanguard in war. They are often among the most elite soldiers in the legion and undergo far more rigorous training than ordinary soldiers.

Several teams... How big of a deal is this?!
