January 4 Summary and Acknowledgements

My darlings! My salary last month actually exceeded 200!
When the number of cases reached 200 or so this year, my target score dropped from 200 to just 100. I never expected it to break through 200 again!
Hahaha! Are my expectations too low? But I'm in a good mood.

Last month I received 223.54, including 183 from subscriptions, 5 from rewards, and 35 from group purchases.

The increased subscriptions indicate that Xinbaozi is making a strong push.

I received a message from a new fan a couple of days ago, saying that I look better lately and encouraging me to keep it up.

Then I went back and read the comments, looking for those that praised me, and that gave me renewed motivation.

To be honest, I'm pretty numb right now. I can't tell if my writing is good or bad. I can only continue according to my feelings, try my best, and not be perfunctory.

But almost every day, I doubt myself: Is it really okay for me to write like this? Will anyone actually read it?

Many times, I've wondered if it's worth continuing.

There are countless reasons to give up, but I still inexplicably persist.

Even though I've decided I don't have a talent for writing, I still don't want to let down the fans who encouraged me and accompanied me all this way.

As long as people are reading, I will continue writing.

I don't want to let down even if there's only one reader.

I don't mean to complain, I just want to take this opportunity to share my thoughts with everyone.

Last month, Lu Shi successfully entered the White Tower, but Rong Jin brought a crisis and activated the body's primal consciousness.

The Noah arrives and begins formal diplomatic relations with Sersorn. After the powerful 3S Sentinel, Helian Rongjin, reaches an agreement with the Noah, he suddenly transforms into Rongjin, believing himself to be a time traveler. He calls for help from the Noah and then disappears. Everyone realizes that Sersorn is not at peace.

Noah's healing spell was more effective than the Guide's in clearing the Sentinels' mental pollution levels, giving Noah the initiative.

Lin Fan combined Guan Ying's idea to add cards carrying supernatural power buffs to modern energy weapons in a detachable, insertable manner, thus redefining the future trade direction of the Noah.

Lu Shi was suddenly attacked and secretly delivered in a box. The Noah learned that Lu Shi's mother might be a traitor and, unsure of the mastermind's intentions, decided to remain calm and wait for further developments.

I've included several plot twists in the stories of these two new supporting characters. I don't know if that's why some new fans say it's good. But other fans haven't reacted, so I don't know if they think it's bad... Anyway, I'll just write it according to my own ideas.

This month, all the conflicts have come to light.

The Noah has an advantage due to its weapons and healing capabilities, but it is also caught up in a crisis lurking in the shadows.

The plan is to finish writing the storylines for Lu Shi and Helian Rongjin this month. Next up is the storyline for interstellar combat, including mechs and warships.

Some readers have said that Lin Fan is always indecisive, not exciting enough, not powerful enough, or that the mechas rarely appear.

I always feel that the development of a plot should be logical.

After such a long storyline and different experiences on each planet, Lin Fan's character has been honed. Is she more decisive now? The Noah is also starting to have an advantage, which is why the storyline is so exciting. The mechs don't seem out of place in a higher civilization dimension. Being cool among a group of powerful mechs is what truly matters.

Of course, this is all just my logic. It could also be that the slow pace is making viewers unhappy.

But I still think that Lin Fan and Noah are now the ones who have the right to stand at the top. Before, they were always in a state of learning and accumulation, and forcing a showdown... well, I can't really say for myself.

Okay, let's not get into that. After Lu Shi and Rong Jin's storyline, it's Star Wars, with the Noah and Sersorn fighting together. The scale is bigger, the scenes are grander, and compared to just the Noah alone, with Lin Fan and Antonio's two mechs fighting, isn't the storyline much more substantial?

There will be a lot of technological things involved, and I'm already starting to get a headache from it.

I'm not sure how it will turn out, but I'll try my best.

Finally… this is pseudo-science fiction, finally getting close to science fiction! Waaah, how did I end up going in such a big circle?
Is there any author who has screwed over themselves even more than me?

In terms of daily life, nothing particularly special seems to have happened; a month has passed in the blink of an eye.

The two surgical wounds I had at the end of last year are finally starting to hurt less. I did some quick calculations, and it took about four months after the surgeries to subside.

I don't know if this is the case for others, but I feel like mine is a bit slow. When I watch videos about plastic surgery and stuff, I think, I only have a skin cut and a few stitches, and I'm in pain for months. What do those people suffer through? Don't they feel pain?

In early April, the swelling in my left foot finally subsided, but it still felt tight when I squatted down. Then one day while I was sleeping, I suddenly heard a click. I had a feeling that the tightness was gone, and sure enough, it was!

Now, it hurts from time to time, which is normal. I don't know if I can recover to the point where I didn't feel anything at all before I sprained it.

I thought I was fine, but then a swelling appeared on the top of my right foot, right where the tongue of my shoe was pressing, making it impossible to wear my shoes. I went to the doctor, and they said it was a lymph node dissection. I rested for half a month, and the pain subsided a couple of days ago. I felt like I was almost healed, so that day I made dog food for my dog, grinding it up, massaging it, steaming it—I stood there busy for hours, and then it recurred the next day…

I've been feeling like this ever since the end of last year—I've had a constant stream of minor ailments. They're not serious, but they're still bothering me.

I'm pretty calm about it, but it just feels weird. I can't keep having bad luck forever, right? Yeah, I'm waiting for good luck to come soon.

Okay, I've rambled on about a bunch of random things again. I don't even know if any of you have read this far. Whatever, I treat this place as a confessional; it makes me feel better after I've vented!
