Chapter 1755, Chapter 388 Comes Knocking

Chapter 1755, Chapter 388: Coming to the Door

"I don't know," Prince Aidan insisted, and he genuinely didn't know.

"Those are your people, and you say you don't know them!"

Prince Aidan's expression gradually turned cold, and the gray mist that was forming his body accelerated its condensation and reorganization: "Are you talking to me? You should have realized this long ago when you had succubi watching over a group of severely injured and immobile wounded."

"you……"

A hint of apprehension surfaced among the elites.

"Step aside."

The elites weren't afraid of Prince Aidan, at least he wouldn't dare kill them, but there was no need to make enemies with Prince Aidan for a few cannon fodder subordinates, so they snorted and stepped aside.

Prince Aidan walked out of the restaurant.

As he approached, he saw a wooden sign in the passageway that read, "Please do not let patients die in the corridor."

"I'm just right to have Olme."

Prince Aidan said to the servants who came to greet him.

They assumed Prince Aidan was yet another victim and, with pained expressions, led him to the ward.

The servants hurried away, and Prince Aidan, standing before the sickbed, scanned the room. There was no trace of death; it was unexpectedly clean.

He walked out, and his servants tried to stop him, but Prince Aidan merely released a slight aura, and the servants prostrated themselves on the ground, no longer daring to obstruct him.

In the ward, Annan looked at the seriously injured believers who had been carried in.

"Are you going to die?"

"Pastor... save me..." the believer pleaded as he vomited blood.

"Don't worry, I'll save you." Annan loosened his belt. "However, surgery carries risks, and treatment requires caution..."

"Let me eat it while it's hot..."

Two minutes later, after completing the "treatment," Anan turned and went into the next ward.

Prince Aidan, who had just arrived at the passage, saw Annan's figure disappear behind the door and hesitated to go over.

"Let me insert it, just once..." Annan's seductive whisper came from inside the door.

“Okay.” The patient’s muffled voice sounded, then quickly turned into an exclamation: “Uh… what is this…”

"Just bear with it, it will pass soon."

The ward fell silent. A few dozen seconds later, the door was pulled open from the inside, and Anan walked out, clutching his waistband.

"Another patient has arrived...wait, why do you look so familiar?"

Prince Aidan was speechless for a moment: "If you didn't recognize me, were you planning to kill me along with you?"

"You've changed; you've become sarcastic and sarcastic."

Prince Aidan, seemingly uninterested in casual conversation, asked, "What are you doing?"

"Did not do anything."

Prince Aidan looked at Annan: "You've never accomplished anything, yet you couldn't wait to kill dozens of your accomplices as soon as you arrived. Even a demon would have to call you a great demon."

“There weren’t that many, only about twenty,” Annan tried to argue. “Besides, they were going to die anyway. What’s wrong with dying from injuries?”

Prince Aidan was rendered speechless by Annan's rebuttal.

"Your story is being told all over the outposts."

"I know."

He only takes in people and never lets them out; everyone knows something's fishy going on... I should have left a few alive to get out, but Annan just couldn't resist.

Prince Aidan looked through the open door at the dead cultists on the sickbed: "Why did you kill them?"

"It wasn't me. I was treating them. Who would have thought they were so fragile?" Anan turned around and closed the ward door, still trying to renege on his debt.

"Cure?"

"Hmm." Prince Aidan's past etiquette prevented him from losing his composure after hearing Annan's words, but he raised his voice slightly: "You mean when you were treating one person, three people accidentally died?"

"Ok!"

"How did you do it?"

"Since we're already here, it's just a small favor."

Prince Aidan gave up arguing with Annan—he knew that the Annan of today was not the Annan of the past; influenced by the succubus bloodline, he had not only become chaotic in his behavior but also loved to talk incessantly.

Aidan's biggest weakness is communicating with people: "Too many people have died, and you've already attracted attention. I know necromancy, so we'd better bring them back before anyone comes looking for trouble with you."

"Fine, you decide." Since Annan has already taken in the human side, it doesn't matter if they are resurrected.

If they can survive.

Prince Aidan pushed open the door to the ward, went in, looked around, and suddenly frowned: "What's going on?"

"what happened?"

“No souls… their souls have all been devoured.” Prince Aidan gave Annan a deep look.

This kind of feeding on souls... is the style of the devil's side. The demons' side is a bit rougher, usually eating "skin and filling together".

Even Aidan couldn't help but feel confused, not understanding what Annan was trying to do: "What does the Empire want with you?"

"It's about cooperating...cooperating with traitors. Where are the others?"

"He left, and I don't know what he went to do."

“Look, the traitors have run away too, so I have to find something to do.” Annan shrugged.

Seeing Annan's nonchalant expression, a guess formed in Aidan's mind: "You've been influenced by the succubus bloodline?"

"No... well, a little."

Annan honestly admitted: "However, I didn't kill them purely out of revenge. I had a purpose in doing so, but I can't tell you."

Prince Aidan, seeing that there was no trace of the dead in the ward, believed Annan's words and walked out.

"Don't worry, the news has spread. I don't think anyone will come even if I try to lie." Anan followed behind him.

"So you don't know how to treat it at all."

"Who said that?"

Annan was eager to clear his name when a believer happened to be limping by. He quickly went up to him and said, "Hey, are you injured? Let me take a look—"

"You're a demon...no...no! Get away from me! Someone save me, I don't want to die!" The patient screamed shrilly and turned to run away.

Unable to catch up, Anan had no choice but to return: "Look, with just one sentence, I made someone with mobility issues walk like the wind. Can you still say I don't know how to treat people?"

Prince Aidan shook his head and chuckled, saying, "From a friend's perspective, I must remind you that you've made quite a commotion."

"Uh, does this mean the Chaos Cult is going to punish me?"

"I don't know. If there is, I'll try to block it for you."

"How could they do this? I was just putting the true meaning of chaos into practice."

Harming one's own people is unforgivable no matter where it is done, but the style of the Chaotic Cult makes up for this.

No one doubted that Olme was just right anymore.

It's so crazy that nobody associates it with Annan, just like nobody associates Schwarzlo with Martin.

“The Chaos Cult is far from chaotic!” Annan complained loudly.

They went to the restaurant again, and Annan found an empty seat and continued, "But I think you'll really like it. Isn't this the 'chaos' you've been dreaming of?"

Faced with Annan's sarcasm, Prince Aidan could only manage a wry smile.

"Well said." A soft laugh rang out.

Neither Annan nor Prince Aidan seemed to notice as he sat down beside them and asked, "Do you mind if I sit here?"
