However, the demon guard was just joking; he still obediently opened the cell door and released Lilith.

"The prisoner has been handed over to you ratmen. If she escapes, it has nothing to do with us demons."

Annan called Ruth back and winked at her, signaling her to take Biluo to the back.

After the six-armed serpent demon was dragged away and their conversation could no longer be heard, Annan said, "I'm going back to Free City."

"Why? You went through all that trouble to infiltrate the demons, and you're just leaving like this?"

Annan was not surprised that the bard had guessed his identity. He said calmly, "I've done what I needed to do. What are you still doing here?"

"No, you still have things to do."
