“I see it! I see it!” Lisa replied somewhat impatiently, then squatted down and continued filling the bag.

As he turned the pages of the logbook, Xu San's brows furrowed more and more.

There's no other reason than that I can't understand it.

David's logbook was not only poorly written, but it was also written entirely in Portuguese, and none of the five people in the captain's cabin understood Portuguese.

"What's wrong?" Huanji asked, leaning closer to look at the nautical log.

“Yes!” Xu San frowned and turned another page. “But thankfully, there are pictures! We can look at it like a magazine.”

After saying that, he waved to the welding wire, "Brother Hans, come here for a moment. Although it's written in Portuguese, these nautical charts are still drawn very neatly."

Hans didn't waste any words and walked over directly. "Alright, let me take a look."

Hans turned the pages faster than Xu San; he simply flipped through a few pages before arriving at the cabinet in the captain's cabin.

The cabinet was made of sheet metal and welded to the wall; he reached out and tried to pull it open, but couldn't.

Xu San saw this and was about to draw his sword to strike when he noticed Lisa standing up. "Leave this to me."

After saying that, she took a hair clip off her head, poked it a few times at the keyhole of the cabinet, and pulled it open.

Lisa clapped her hands. "I've opened these simple cabinet locks all the time."

Hans showed no surprise; he simply shook his head helplessly and then pulled out several scrolls of nautical charts.

There was a large table in the captain's cabin, with some miscellaneous items on it. Hans was too lazy to clean them up one by one, so he simply reached out and swept them away.

He took out a nautical chart, laid it on the table, and then opened the logbook to compare it.

Realizing something was wrong, he got a different nautical chart. He continued comparing them one by one, making marks on the charts from time to time.

About ten minutes later, he pointed to the nautical chart on the table and said, "I should be in this position now."

Xu San nodded, looking at the nautical chart. "Have you found the location for the island?"

“It should be here!” Hans said, pointing to a red circle. “This is where I marked it; it wasn’t on the original nautical chart.”

"Oh~" Xu San continued to nod, "Then when will we arrive?"

"Tomorrow at noon, or afternoon/evening. The speed is uncertain right now, so I can only estimate it using the cruise ship's normal speed." Hans looked at a draft paper filled with formulas beside him.

“It’s only nine o’clock now, and there are still more than ten hours until what you said.” Xu San raised his hand and pressed it on the table. “Such a long time is a bit hard to endure.”

"Um," Hans said hesitantly, looking at Xu San, "after all this time, shouldn't we think about how to hide?"

“Indeed!” Xu San nodded seriously. “However, I think we should look for the thing she mentioned first.”

Huanji closed her eyes, then opened them again after a moment. She pointed to a wall and said, "That thing is over there."

Following Huanji's finger, Xu San looked over but found nothing.

So he walked in that direction, stood in front of the wall, carefully used his circular senses to examine it, and then said, "There's something behind this wall, and it's made of a special kind of material."

"What special material?" Huanji asked.

"It's the kind of material used to imprison her," Xu San said calmly. (End of Chapter)
