Mi Lai slowly opened her eyes, her severe headache making her feel extremely uncomfortable.

After a few minutes, the pain subsided, and Miley realized that the place she was sleeping in was not her home.

"where am I?"

Mi Lai was startled and threw off the blanket, only to find that she was not wearing the same clothes she had worn yesterday.

"Ah!" Milai screamed and sat up abruptly.

"Milai, you're awake!"

Manny's voice came from the doorway, and only then did Miley get a clear look at her surroundings.

"Sister Manny, is this your home?"

"If it's not my house, is it yours?" Manny held a glass of water in one hand and a pill in the other.

"Take your hangover medicine quickly, you drank too much yesterday." Manny handed a glass of water to Miley.

"Oh, thank you." Miley took the water and medicine and ate them without worry.

"Sister Manny, did you change my clothes?" Mi Lai finished drinking her water and handed the cup back to Manny.

"Did you black out? Don't you remember what you did yesterday?" Manny asked, amused.

“Hmm.” Miley rubbed her temples and said, “I vaguely remember going to your bar for a drink, and then I don’t remember anything else.”

Manny sighed, "You were drunk and acting crazy. I had no choice but to take you home, but you threw up everywhere at the door, and your clothes got all dirty. I had to help you change."

Mi Lai suddenly realized, and hugged Manny affectionately, saying, "Sister Manny, you're the best."

Manny patted Miley on the back and said, "You can't drink this much anymore."

Mi Lai couldn't help but think of Lu Tao and Xia Lin again, her heart began to ache, and her face darkened.

"Oh right, I vaguely remember Gao Qiang drinking with me?" Mi Lai suddenly said, "Could I be mistaken?"

Manny blushed and whispered, "If you remember correctly, I wouldn't have been able to get you home by myself if Gao Qiang hadn't been there."

Mi Lai frowned and asked, "Did Gao Qiang leave later?"

Manny shook her head and said, "No, he's still outside."

No sooner had he finished speaking than Wang Gang appeared at the bedroom door carrying a frying pan.

"Breakfast is ready, hurry up and brush your teeth and eat!"

"Ah!" Miley screamed suddenly when she saw Wang Gang.

"Why are you still here?!"

Wang Gang said speechlessly, "You really have a blackout? You don't remember anything about throwing up all over me last night?"

"Uh!" Miley looked at Manny with a surprised expression.

“You threw up all over Gao Qiang yesterday, so I had to bring him back and wash his clothes. He can’t go home shirtless!” Manny explained, blushing.

Millie accepted Manny's explanation, but was puzzled as to why Manny was blushing.
"Alright! Hurry up and wash up. You threw up all yesterday, you must be starving now!" Wang Gang tapped the frying pan with a spatula and said to Mi Lai.

It would have been better if she hadn't mentioned being hungry, because Mi Lai's stomach suddenly growled loudly.

"I'm so hungry," Mila said to Manny, clutching her stomach. "But I don't want to get out of bed."

Manny patted Mi Lai again and said irritably, "Lazybones, get up! I washed your clothes yesterday, they should be almost dry by now."

Mi Lai reluctantly got up and went to the bathroom to wash up. Manny had prepared a new toothbrush and towel for her.

While brushing her teeth, Mi Lai noticed two toothbrushes in Manny's mouthwash cup. One belonged to Manny, but whose was the other?
With these questions in mind, Mi Lai finished washing up and went to the living room. Wang Gang had already prepared breakfast: thin porridge, fried eggs, and a small dish of side dishes. It wasn't a lavish meal, but it still made Mi Lai's mouth water.

"I also fried some luncheon meat, it'll be ready soon." Wang Gang, wearing an apron, looked like the owner of the house.

"Huh? Why is Gao Qiang cooking?" Mi Lai asked in confusion.

“Gao Qiang said he could cook, and since my cooking skills are terrible, I asked him to prepare it,” Manny explained, taking a sip of coffee. Mi Lai glanced at Wang Gang and Manny with a puzzled look, then sat down to eat.

"You've just woken up from a hangover, so you shouldn't eat anything too greasy. Have some thin porridge first," Wang Gang reminded him.

"Oh," Milai responded, then took a sip of porridge.

"Wow, this porridge smells so good!" Mi Lai's eyes suddenly lit up.

"Sister Manny doesn't have much food at home, just rice, eggs, and luncheon meat. You'll have to make do with this!"

Wang Gang brought the fried luncheon meat to the table, then took off his apron and sat down next to Manny.

Mi Lai picked up a piece of luncheon meat, opened her small mouth and took a bite. The crispy on the outside and tender on the inside luncheon meat immediately whetted her appetite.

"Delicious," Mi Lai said to Wang Gang. "I didn't know you had this skill."

Wang Gang smiled, picked up the bowl of porridge, and took a sip.

Manny kept her head down and ate, looking very shy, and didn't say a word.

Halfway through her meal, Mi Lai suddenly remembered something and asked Manny, "Manny, I remember your house only has two bedrooms, right? Gao Qiang stayed here yesterday, where did he sleep?"

Manny panicked and dropped the bowl with a clatter, spilling some porridge onto the table.

Mi Lai looked at Manny with a puzzled expression. Wang Gang calmly put away the bowl and wiped the table with a tissue.

"I ate on the sofa outside yesterday," Wang Gang explained to Mi Lai.

Miley turned to look at the sofa and, sure enough, saw a pillow and a blanket.

"Gao Qiang, Sister Manny, thank you for taking care of me yesterday. Apart from throwing up, I didn't cause you any other trouble, did I?" Mi Lai said apologetically.

“No, you fell asleep right after you threw up,” Manny said calmly.

Miley nodded and continued eating.

Wang Gang placed a fried egg on Manny's plate and whispered, "Eat more, you must have been tired yesterday."

Upon hearing this, Manny rolled her eyes at Wang Gang, but did not refuse his kindness.

While eating, Mi Lai observed Wang Gang and Manny. She felt that something was off, but she couldn't quite put her finger on it.

Beneath the dining table, where Mi Lai couldn't see, Wang Gang's left hand was already on Manny's thigh.

Feeling Wang Gang's inappropriate touch, Manny trembled slightly, then glared at him fiercely, but because Mi Lai was present, she couldn't lash out!

The breakfast ended in an eerie atmosphere. Manny cleaned up the mess, while Wang Gang and Mi Lai left together to take the subway.

At the subway station entrance, Mi Lai suddenly stopped, and Wang Gang turned to look at her in confusion.

"what happened?"

"You slept with Sister Manny yesterday, didn't you?" Mila asked, squinting her eyes.

Wang Gang asked with a half-smile, "Why do you ask that?"

Mi Lai snorted and said, "You can't fool my eyes. You should have slept in Sister Manny's bedroom yesterday. Her bed was a complete mess, and I saw it all."

Wang Gang shrugged, nonchalantly saying, "So what if they see? We're both single, there's nothing to be ashamed of."

Mi Lai pouted and said unhappily, "If you're dating Sister Manny, just do it. Why did you have to hide it from me?"

Wang Gang chuckled and said, "Who told you we're dating?"

"Ah!" Miley exclaimed in surprise, "What exactly is your relationship?"

Wang Gang said nonchalantly, "What do you think?"

Mi Lai was stunned for a moment, then said angrily, "None of you men are any good."

After saying that, Mi Lai rushed into the subway station. (End of Chapter)
