Chapter 753 Day 1

Upon hearing this, Lu Feng didn't say anything more, but simply picked up the scroll and unfurled it.

This scroll was likely painted by "Bodhisattva Drokdendrup" himself. The paper used is similar to that of the "long book," but it is a bit more brittle.

Fortunately, this object was actually an incarnation of a "Bodhisattva," and even though the "paper" was made out of thin air, it was still enough for Lu Feng to see the pictures on it clearly.

The brushstrokes and colors are excellent, but this one painting alone is permeated with an atmosphere of "despair".

The sky above was erased with a single stroke, the varying shades creating the illusion of a cloudy day.

Then came a "post".

—It's impossible to tell which mountain it is. Even if people in the "Secret Dharma Realm" can't name a mountain, they can describe its shape, such as "a mountain that looks like a lama's hat" or "a mountain that looks like a cow whip standing upright." But this mountain doesn't have any "special shape" that makes it easy to locate.

Therefore, its meaning is "mountain"!
It is a "mountain".

And at the foot of this mountain were the two monks who were about to pass away there. Their faces were not clearly visible, and they were both facing the direction of that hill.

The monks also had no distinguishing features.

However, he had short hair on his head and was wearing a kasaya.

On this "post," there is still half a sun, making it impossible to tell whether it is setting or rising.

It was half-hidden on this high hill.

Therefore, it is unclear whether it is falling or rising.

Not to mention finding the "orientation" of the mountain peak from this single image.

Of the two monks at the foot of the hill, one had already passed away, while the other, instead of going up the mountain, performed a ritual of burning incense beside him. This was to invite the incense smoke to transform into steps, carrying the spirit of the other "Bodhisattva" to the heavens.

The "Bodhisattva" who passed away was surrounded by blood.

This reminded Lu Feng of the bow and arrow that could turn a person's "law nature" into "blood".

He also thought of the person who claimed to be the "true Buddha".

The hill that offered no further explanation, the monk whose appearance remained unknown, the cause of his passing unclear.

The entire pattern conveys an indescribable sense of oppression and deathly stillness. Behind this "hill," three grotesque faces appear, each about three feet tall. They are so large that they are almost the same size as the half-hidden "Great Sun."

Of these three faces, the first one is like a full moon, resembling a true Buddha.

He looked compassionately at the monk who had passed away on the ground.

The other face was attached to this one.

But it was an ordinary-looking face.

neutral.

It's impossible to tell if they're male or female.

The last face is only half visible.

It looks like a woman's face.

But it's only similar.

These three faces stared intently at this death. The entire picture gave people an extremely sinister and terrifying feeling. Seeing this, Lu Feng silently rolled up the object and then handed it back to "Bodhisattva Zhuoge Dunzhu". "Bodhisattva Zhuoge Dunzhu" waved his hand, indicating that there was no need to return it to him. Then, a flame rose out of thin air and turned the object into "ashes".

Lu Feng said, "I never expected it to end like this."

"Yes, I never expected that the last thing I would see was this scene. With just this, the whole prophecy abruptly ended, like a horse suddenly stopping, unable to move forward."

Whether I have obtained the hidden treasure, or whether you have returned here, remains to be seen.

On the contrary, the consequences are now right before our eyes.

Is it good or bad?

As they were talking, the entire convoy finally entered the "no man's land".

Looking outside, the sun began to gradually set below the horizon. Even after the sun had completely set, the sky would brighten again for a while. Even so, the "attendants" of the "Great Buddha" following behind the "carriage" began to take out torches and other "exorcising" items from the rattan boxes of the "pack horses".

It made a "thinking" sound.

Meanwhile, some of the "Big Buddhas" who followed the "Zhuoge Dunzhu" team also began to split off a portion of their teams.

They rode away from there, heading in another direction.

No one stopped them.

The shadows of these people were stretched longer and longer by the sun, and then, as the sun set, their shadows never reappeared; they quickly disappeared on the "horizon."

Lu Feng watched them leave.

Lu Feng remained seated on the "chariot," refusing to dismount, and "Bodhisattva Zhuoge Dunzhu" naturally had no intention of inviting him down. Although the two had reached the stage of sharing life and death, or even facing death together, the time they had spent in serious conversation was, at most, only a few times.

All of them combined don't even last a day or two in this world.

The rest of the time, they either communicated through letters or "Bodhisattva Zhuoge Dunzhu" asked someone to pass on a message to Lu Feng.

Therefore, now, Lu Feng has had some time to communicate with "Bodhisattva Zhuoge Dunzhu," just as "Bodhisattva Zhuoge Dunzhu" also intends to communicate with Lu Feng.

Lu Feng slowly said, "This time, I must go to the royal city."

Within the royal city lies a profound treatise on esoteric Buddhist feng shui. I must find there a place where I can bury the past and history.

Therefore, this time, the royal city was also built on the mountain range, climbing up the mountain. Although the entire royal city was destroyed, the danger remains. I have no way of knowing what is in this royal city. I can only think that the most likely thing is that there is a so-called 'true Buddha' sitting in this mountain - born of greed, with the royal city as the bone and the evil Buddha as the flesh.

As for the rest of my enemies waiting here, they seem more like wrath.

The root of samsara in the realm of esoteric Buddhism is greed, anger, and ignorance.

As long as greed, anger, and ignorance persist, the cycle of rebirth will continue. However, everything in the realm of esoteric Buddhism is transformed from the Dharma nature of Vairocana Buddha.

Therefore, there are also things here that are not manifestations of Vairocana Buddha.

I was aware of this when I transformed into my treacherous form.

The esoteric realm is a living entity.

Therefore,
O Bodhisattva Zhuoge Dunzhu, have you ever heard of a door, or a supreme fortress?
It resides within the realm of esoteric teachings, above all that is supreme in rank.

Lu Feng decided to get straight to the point.

Upon hearing Lu Feng's words, "Bodhisattva Zhuoge Dunzhu" kept his eyes half-open, showing no surprise whatsoever.

“Eternal True Bodhisattva”.

"Bodhisattva Zhuoge Dunzhu" opened his mouth and said, "I have no knowledge of the fortified house you mentioned, nor do I know anything about the door you mentioned."

However, I know that the situation in the esoteric Buddhist realm has been deteriorating ever since the fall of Tibet.

Over the years, many evil forces have been unable to expand, and many evil forces have merged into one, only to become connected with many origins of the esoteric realm.

Even like their earliest form—" "Bodhisattva Drokdenzhu said, "If this continues, the calamities will be uncontrollable, and how can Buddhism flourish?"
Even in temples, there is no need to hide from evil spirits.

Even monks became food for the monstrous creatures.

As for the greed, anger, and ignorance you mentioned, I truly do not know them. Only the fierce and wicked can be attributed to their own origin.

It is not surprising that the three demons of greed, anger, and ignorance in monks can be reduced to one thing.

"Bodhisattva Drokdendra said, "Therefore I had to find the hidden treasure, and from the hidden treasure I found the method to subdue the fierce and evil."

Those great Buddhas were all there to retrieve the key to the hidden treasure.

"Wait until I open the hidden treasure at Nyima Nadak Tso."

Lu Feng suddenly interrupted "Bodhisattva Zhuoge Dunzhu" and said, "I know that the Bodhisattva's great vow is extraordinary."

I know that the Bodhisattva's compassion is vast.

I know that the wisdom and actions of the Bodhisattva are unstoppable.

It is not just the Bodhisattva; a demon is lying in my stomach and throat, trying to bewitch the Bodhisattva.

Bodhisattva, this matter has truly come to fruition far too naturally.

When you hear the thunder, that's when the mysterious fortified house I mentioned crashed down. At that moment, a Bodhisattva severed the finger of the master of greed, anger, and delusion—perhaps even severing a finger of him. Thus, the master tried to awaken, but was stopped. Even so, the desolate area was turned upside down.

At this moment, the sacred mountain that you desired, Bodhisattva, appeared in the uninhabited area.

All of this was the Bodhisattva's instruction; there was something hidden within the sacred mountain.

But was that really a hidden treasure (treasure) of the Bodhisattva Drokdendra?

I once searched for the primordial power to assist you atop a high mountain—the very primordial mountain of the Secret Realm—but I could not find it.

So, Bodhisattva, what other tricks do you have up your sleeve? Please tell me.

"I might also be able to lend you a hand."

Lu Feng's voice was neither hurried nor slow.

Lu Feng, an outsider, saw the whole affair very clearly. He understood its profound meaning and the hidden dangers, which even Lu Feng had to be careful about.

Upon hearing this, "Bodhisattva Zhuoge Dunzhu" was not surprised by Lu Feng's statement.

Instead, he spoke up to respond to Lu Feng.

There's no need for that.

Or rather, there was no need to think about it anymore; I simply opened that hidden treasure myself.

Once the hidden treasure is activated, one will possess the ability to contend with the fierce and unpredictable forces above the Secret Realm.

Or perhaps they have found a way to deal with this fierce and strange thing itself.

Therefore, the consequences of opening this object were also part of my contemplation.

"Bodhisattva Zhuoge Dunzhu" is certainly not ignorant of everything.

His eyes were now fully open.

He looked at Lu Feng, staring into his eyes.

He then said, “Bodhisattva Yongzhen, I only told you how I became the monk of this Drokdendrup.”

Now, however, I suddenly have an idea.

I want to tell you about my childhood.

Oh, Bodhisattva Yongzhen, being by your side, I suddenly thought of my childhood.

When I was a child, there was a small river near my family's ranch.

It was called a small river, but it was actually not very wide. However, it was quite terrifying for a young child.

Every summer, children drown in this river.

Every time a baby drowned, the family would invite a high master who was said to be able to communicate with the gods to perform a ritual. Later, the high master even built a channel with stones to block the evil spirits and erected a barrier, and performed rituals to eliminate the evil spirits in the area.

Each time I do this, it brings some peace and quiet.

Therefore, even I dared not go to the small river next to the manor. Not to mention going there, even if I got close to it, the old woman would keep a close eye on me.

So I knew that the river was inhabited by fierce monsters and demons who came specifically to eat little babies.

Then one day, my father brought me to this manor to collect grain. He rode a tall horse and carried me in front of him as we drove around the manor.

I don't know how, but I ended up by this river.

He wasn't afraid of the river, though. He pointed at it with his whip and told me a lot.

However, I don't remember much about Yongzhen Bodhisattva.

I only remember my father saying that the manor on this side of the river was his land.

The other side of this river is also our land.

These lands all belong to the Jasak lord, so whoever becomes the Jasak lord owns these lands. From here to there, but if I don't become a monk at the temple, the land on the other side of the river, a place lush with water and grass, is available to me.

At that time, he pointed to a log bridge over the river and told me that to cross this log bridge, one person had to cross one by one. Only after the person in front had crossed could the person behind cross.

Otherwise, if the bridge collapses, none of the children who fell in will survive.

If they had walked one after the other, perhaps one of the kids would have survived?

"Bodhisattva Zhuoge Dunzhu" finished recounting this old story in a calm tone, then looked at Lu Feng and asked, "Is it yes or no, Bodhisattva Yongzhen?"

"good."

Lu Feng said so.

Just as they reached this point, the caravan moved with astonishing speed. Even when Lu Feng had come with the "Merchant Caravan" from the "Temple of the Origin of All Dharmas" years ago, they hadn't traveled as fast. The group didn't need to hide in the shadows under the bright sun. In this way, when the moon was high in the sky, they had already passed the "serpentine protruding rocks" and crossed the "canyon," encountering no problems along the way.

They walked straight ahead, and on the morning of the second day, before the sun had even risen, "Bodhisattva Zhuoge Dunzhu" suddenly lifted the "curtain" and said to everyone, "Alright, let's all set up camp."

He wasn't worried that the "big shots" around him wouldn't be able to keep up.

He was worried that the "Great Buddha" who went to the other "sacred mountains" to retrieve the keys wouldn't be able to keep up.

It was during this "setting up camp" that Lu Feng also dismounted from the "chariot". There was still some chill in the air, but after the sun rose, it soon became hot and humid. Lu Feng looked around and realized that he had entered the "land where the roc takes flight". In the distance, there was actually a "river".

—One of the “six newly discovered rivers”.

Having crossed that river, given their pace and stamina, it would take them no more than a day and a half to reach Black Mountain.

As Lu Feng gazed into the distance, "Daoist Lu" approached and stood beside him, also looking into the distance. He said, "This matter is quite troublesome and difficult."
