Indeed: the place where the great Taoist emperors cultivated themselves, the wondrous realm within is known to few.

After a brief investigation, Maudgalyayana turned his gaze back to the two boys, Qingfeng and Mingyue.

He spoke politely, addressing Qingfeng Mingyue as "fellow Daoist," seemingly very kind. However, anyone who could see Niu Dali's corpse on the ground would know that this fellow had come with ill intentions.

Maudgalyayana said, "Fellow Daoist, please inform them that Maudgalyayana is outside the mountain gate requesting an audience with Emperor Chen."

Qingfeng and Mingyue exchanged a glance, then looked at Maudgalyayana and said, "Very well, please wait a moment while I go and inform the master."

Maudgalyayana said again, "Thank you."

Maudgalyayana said, “Reporting to Emperor Chen, recently our Buddhism assisted the Southern Tang. The Banana Arhat was guarding Chuzhou when he encountered a strange person in the Great Zhou army. The two sides fought a battle, and the Banana Arhat had a slight advantage, suppressing the strange person in the Great Zhou army so that he could not fight back. Unexpectedly, at this time, he was attacked by Niu Dali, who was suspected to be a disciple of the Great Emperor. He used an extremely powerful magic weapon to capture the primordial spirit of the Banana Arhat. This sneak attack was particularly despicable. Venerable Maitreya was very uncomfortable with this, so he personally took action and beat Niu Dali until his soul was scattered. However, considering that Niu Dali might be a disciple of the Great Emperor, he asked me to send back the body and the damaged magic weapon. I ask the Great Emperor to issue a decree to decide the matter.”

Chen Yun glanced calmly at Maudgalyayana and said slowly, "That Niu Dali left my sect a few days ago and is no longer one of my disciples. You don't need to ask me about this matter.
