It has been in disrepair for a long time, is dark and damp, covered with moss, and has a musty smell...

At the end, there is a wall covered with moss. A thick layer of moss completely covers the wall.

"Is it a dead end?"

She didn't remember encountering any fork in the road just now. There was just a straight corridor leading directly here, and after going up the stairs, this was the only corridor she could go in.

The key squeezed out some moss in the keyhole. Fortunately, there was no rust inside the keyhole. After trying it back and forth a few times, the key was inserted into the keyhole tightly.
