Soon, the inky energy covered his entire body, then flowed down his feet and onto the little black dog.

The instructor's steady voice came from the front.

Behind him was a corridor leading to nowhere. He and the instructor stood at the end of the corridor. Apart from the door in front of him, there was nothing around him...
