Journey to the West: Don’t mess with that monster

Chapter 550: Under the sacred mountain, I got my memory 3 and hid in the river to ferry myself

Tang Seng looked at Zhu Bajie and said, "We have asked many people for help along the way. I just think that since we are at the foot of the mountain now, we should not ask for help if we can!"

Elder Tang didn't know that when he was panicking, he would subconsciously touch his nose.

After saying this, he put down the hand that was touching his nose.

The monkey and the others were not willing to expose him, so they led Tang Seng and his two companions slowly and steadily up the Lingshan Mountain.

Less than five or six miles away, we saw a stream of flowing water, with gurgling and rolling waves. It was about eight or nine miles wide and there was no sign of human life around.

"Big Brother, we've taken the wrong route. Could it be that guy pointed us in the wrong direction? The water is so wide and turbulent, and there are no boats in sight. How can we cross it?" Zhu Bajie asked worriedly.

The monkey glanced at his master and saw that he looked calm.

The monkey laughed and said, "Why are you in such a hurry, you idiot? Isn't there a bridge over there? You have to cross the bridge to achieve your goal."

Zhu Bajie looked at Tang Seng, and saw that his master had walked to the front.

When Tang Seng approached, there was a plaque beside the bridge with the words "Lingyundu" written on it. It turned out to be a single-plank bridge!

"Wukong, do you want to become a Buddha?" Tang Seng asked the monkey.

"No!" the monkey answered without hesitation.

"I don't want to be like them." Tang Seng finally showed a smile. "No! I don't want to be like them."

"Master..." the monkey called out worriedly.

Tang Seng looked at the water under the single-plank bridge. The water was very wide, and the waves were fast and big.

Tang Seng fell into the water in one step.

"Oh my God! Master has committed suicide!" Zhu Bajie shouted anxiously.

"Shut up!" the monkey shouted.

Sha Seng hurried forward to save people.

As a result, Tang Seng put his hands together and actually stood on the water.

"That bridge is not my choice, it is for those who have achieved immortality or Buddhahood.

I, Tang Sanzang, am a monk, just like all living beings, and I should pass by here!"

A faint golden light emerged from Elder Tang's body, and he just walked in the river.

At this time, a small boat came from the distance.

The monkey recognized who it was at a glance. It was none other than Namo Baozhuang Guangwang Buddha.

The people on the boat were somewhat surprised to see that Tang Seng was actually walking on foot!
The monkey said to Zhu Bajie and Sha Wujing, "Once you get on that boat, you can shed your fleshly bodies. I'm afraid you two are not qualified to become Buddhas, but you can become Arhats or messengers."

"I want to go back to Gao Laozhuang!" Zhu Bajie said with a big laugh.

"I want to go back to the Liusha River and become the river god." Sha Seng also said.

Tang Seng could actually hear their words, turned around and said to them with a smile, "You three just wait here for your master!"

The Buddha on the small boat didn't bother to care about the three monkeys, and instead went straight after Elder Tang.

"Sanzang, why don't you let me save you!"

"You should save the world, not just Sanzang." Tang Seng refused with a smile.

With a sigh, the boat and the Buddha on it disappeared.

Finally, Tang Seng reached the shore. As soon as he reached the shore, the bridge and the river disappeared.

"Come on, disciples!" Tang Seng said to them.

Only then did the monkeys follow.

Zhu Bajie and Sha Seng did not have the abilities of the monkey, so they did not see that Tang Seng had turned into a golden body!
But Elder Tang’s body is still there!

The monkey was amazed. He looked at Zhu Bajie and Sha Seng and said, "Do you know what opportunity you have lost?"

"It's just a chance to become a Buddha!" Zhu Bajie patted his belly and said, "I don't want it at all!
Well, I am still a little reluctant. But when I think about my wife at home, I am not reluctant anymore. "

Sha Seng even said self-deprecatingly, "I'm afraid they will give me the title of Fishing Arhat."

"You, White Dragon, have been the most ambitious along the way. Why didn't you get on the boat just now?" the monkey asked the white horse.

Bai Ma smiled bitterly and said, "They obviously didn't intend to save me, and I saw it clearly along the way.

I boarded that boat today, and in the end I would just be a demon king in Xiniuhezhou, and a demon king who would listen to them.

If it were in the past, I would certainly be willing.

But along the way, I have seen so many things with my master and three brothers, and I am no longer the self-righteous demon I used to be!"

Hearing him say this, even Elder Tang laughed out loud.

"Disciples, let's go!" This time, Tang Seng walked in front.

Outside the gate of Leiyin Temple.

The two great Vajras standing at the door greeted the master and his disciples and said, "The holy monk is finally here?"

"It's the disciple Sanzang who has arrived."

After answering, he was about to go in.

The Vajra said hurriedly, "Holy monk, please wait a moment. I will report to you before you come in."

That Vajra ordered one of the four Vajra at the second gate to report that Tang Monk had arrived; the news then spread to the third gate, saying that Tang Monk had arrived; inside the third gate were the divine monks who were offering sacrifices, and when they heard that Tang Monk had arrived, they hurried to the Great Hall.

He reported to Tathagata, "The holy monk of Tang Dynasty has come to Yubao Mountain to seek Buddhist scriptures." Tathagata smiled and immediately summoned the eight Bodhisattvas, four Vajras, five hundred Arhats, three thousand Jiedis, eleven Great Stars, and eighteen Galatans, and arranged them in two rows. Only then did he issue the golden decree, summoning Tang Monk to come in.

Inside, layer by layer, they followed the Buddha's command and called out, "Holy monk, come in."

Tang Seng looked up and said, "It turns out there is no difference!"

It turns out that there is no difference between gods and Buddhas and secular emperors!
After he said that, he took the monkeys and walked into the main hall!
"Tripitaka pays homage to the Buddha Tathagata!" Tang Seng saluted with his hands clasped together.

"Be bold!"

"presumptuous!"

The Vajra and Arhat in the main hall shouted.

How dare Tang Monk neglect Tathagata like this?

Unexpectedly, Tathagata was not angry, but stopped those aggressive Vajra and Arhats.

The monkey looked up and remembered the ones that were shouting the loudest.

When there is a chance, let them try my iron rod!
"Jin Chanzi, I didn't expect that you have achieved enlightenment!" Tathagata said with emotion.

"Amitabha!" Tang Seng put his hands together. "The one in front of you right now is not Jin Chanzi, but the pilgrim from the East, Tang Sanzang!"

Before meeting the Immortal of the Golden Summit, Tang Seng saw Jin Chanzi in his dream.

They had a Buddhist debate in their dream.

In the end, Jin Chanzi lost, and he gave his memory to Tang Seng.

The Tathagata's face showed no joy or sorrow, so Tang Seng continued, "I have come from afar to seek the true scriptures.

Please have mercy on us, Buddha, and grant us the true scriptures so that we can return home as soon as possible!"

The Tathagata then opened his mouth with compassion and said to Tripitaka, "Your Eastern Land is the Southern Continent.

It is because the sky is high, the earth is thick, the resources are vast and the people are dense, so people are greedy and murderous, lustful and deceitful, and cheating and deceitful.

Do not follow Buddhism, do not seek good fortune, do not worship the Three Lights, and do not value the five grains.

Disloyal and unfilial, unjust and unkind, and deceitful.

Using large measures and small scales, killing lives and animals, committing boundless sins, and being full of sins and evils, will lead to the disaster of hell.

Therefore, they will fall into the netherworld forever, suffering the torment of being pounded, ground and pounded; they will be transformed into animals, taking the shapes of many furry and horned animals, using their bodies to repay their debts and their meat to feed humans.

Those who are eternally damned and unable to ascend are all because of this.

Although Confucius taught benevolence, righteousness, propriety, and wisdom, and emperors succeeded each other and implemented punishments such as exile and hanging, the effect was minimal.

I now have the Tripitaka, which can help you transcend suffering and explain disasters and sins. It consists of thirty-five volumes, or 15,144 volumes. It is truly the path to cultivating the truth and the door to righteousness and goodness.

All the astronomy, geography, people, birds and beasts, flowers and trees, tools and human affairs of the four continents in the world are included.

You have come from afar, and I was going to give you everything to take away, but the people there are stupid and rustic, they slander the truth and do not recognize me as a monk..."

The monkey was ready to taunt.

The Southern Continent was actually described in such a bad light. If the monkey had not seen it, he would not have said much today.

But they walked from Nanzhanbuzhou to Xiniuhezhou!
Where there is so much greed, murder, lust, deceit, fraud and deception!
How can you be disloyal, unfilial, unjust, unkind, and deceitful?
Where are the big measures and small scales, killing lives and animals, committing boundless sins, and being filled with sins and evils!

Not anywhere else!

It is your Xiniu Hezhou! It is at the foot of your Lingshan Mountain!
"I hope the Buddha will give me the true scriptures soon!" Tang Seng was unmoved and spoke directly.

The monkey looked at Tang Seng in confusion, but Tang Seng gave him a look that asked him to trust him. Because of the trust along the way, the monkey swallowed his rebuttal.

"Ananda, Kasyapa, you two lead him and the other four to the Treasure Tower and prepare a meal for him. After the meal, open the Treasure Pavilion and give him a few volumes of each of the thirty-five volumes in my Tripitaka. Instruct him to pass it on to the East and to show his great kindness forever!"

Tathagata thought there would be some accidents, but he didn't expect that Tang Seng just saved himself.

But my thirst for the true scriptures remains as strong as ever.

The two venerables followed the Buddha's order and led the four people downstairs, where they could see countless rare treasures displayed endlessly.

I saw the gods setting up offerings and preparing a vegetarian banquet, all of which were immortal products, immortal dishes, immortal teas, immortal fruits, and all kinds of delicacies, totally different from those in the mortal world.

"Old neighbor, long time no see." The monkey smiled at A'Nan.

"Amitabha, compared to the time we have been neighbors, this time we haven't seen each other is just a blink of an eye." Ah Nuo said with a smile. "You guys can have your vegetarian meal first."

Tang Seng looked at the delicacies in front of him. These were the first time he had seen them, but the rich aroma made him salivate.

But he couldn't help but think of the starving people in Fengxian County and the people who were struggling along the way.

He suddenly lost his appetite!
Zhu Bajie didn't care about that. He sat down and started to eat.

The pig's mouth was slurping as it ate, as if it wanted to make up for its lost position as messenger with the food.

Jiaye looked at Zhu Bajie with some disdain, then turned to Tang Seng and said, "Where have you ever eaten these delicious foods? Come and eat some quickly.

I’m afraid I won’t have the chance to eat it again!”

"Don't you eat these things often?" asked the monkey, holding some fruits.

"Hahaha, we've all eaten enough." Kasyapa said with a smile, with a hint of sarcasm in his tone.

"Where do these things come from?" the monkey looked at him and asked.

"The offerings from mortals are naturally not worthy of us to enjoy. These things are all grown by believers in our little world." Kasyapa said with a bit of show-off. (End of this chapter)
