Journey to the West: Don’t mess with that monster

Chapter 551: Uninformed and Unreliable, 3 Zang Rebukes Tathagata Buddha

"Amitabha!" Tang Seng clasped his hands together with a look of pity in his eyes.

However, Jiaye just smiled and said nothing more. He felt that Jin Chanzi had become somewhat hypocritical after his reincarnation.

Isn't it a favor to let those believers provide for them?

The monkeys put down the food in their hands, and A'Nan looked at them with complicated eyes.

Kasyapa sat down and started eating with Zhu Bajie.

Zhu Bajie was worried that he would snatch the food away, so he ate even faster.

After Zhu Bajie finished his meal, someone came to clean up the leftovers.

Ah Nuo said to them, "Let's go and get the true scriptures."

Kasyapa looked at Tang Seng and the others and said, "Let's go!"

The four masters and apprentices entered the treasure pavilion, opened the door and looked around.

This treasure pavilion is filled with rosy clouds and auspicious auras, covering thousands of floors; colorful mists and auspicious clouds cover thousands of roads.

There were red labels on the outside of the treasure boxes on the scripture cabinet, with the titles of the scriptures written in regular script.

Kasyapa told them everything one by one with some boasting.

At this time, Tang Seng couldn't help but ask, "Since there are so many scriptures, why can't we cross the Lion Camel Ridge?
Why can’t we help Fengxian County?
Why can't I get through the fairies and suffering along the way?"

"Tang Sanzang! What do you mean!" Jiaye's face suddenly became ugly.

"I don't mean anything!" Tang Sanzang said fearlessly. "I just asked the question in my heart!"

"Jin Chanzi, don't think we can't see it.

You have recovered the memory of ten reincarnations. I know you feel resentful and think that your master made you escape into reincarnation..." Kasyapa said relentlessly.

"You are wrong, I am Tang Sanzang!" Tang Sanzang said with his hands clasped together. "But I have indeed recovered the memories of ten lifetimes.

But I am still Tang Sanzang!

Jin Chanzi is dead!"

"Then do you still want this sutra?" Kasyapa asked impatiently.

"I have gone through many hardships and obtained the true scriptures. How could I not want them?" Tang Seng answered seriously.

"Since you want to obtain the true scriptures, then stop talking nonsense!" Jiaye said angrily. "What human gifts do you have for us? Take them out quickly so that I can pass on the scriptures to you."

Even Elder Tang, who had recovered the memories of ten lifetimes, was a little confused when he heard this.

"It seems that there is no more!" Kasyapa laughed sarcastically. "Good, good, good! If you pass on the scriptures to the world with nothing, the future generations will starve to death!"

The monkey was immediately furious, and pulled them both aside, saying, "Come on! Let's go to Tathagata and ask him what the mission of obtaining the sutras is!"

See what Tathagata says!"

Jiaye sneered, "I am afraid of you. Ah Nuo, give them the true scriptures. This little thing won't alarm the master."

Ah Nuo said to them, "Come here and get the scriptures!"

Zhu Bajie and Sha Seng put the scriptures in bags, loaded them on the horses, and tied them into two loads, which Zhu Bajie and Sha Seng carried.

"Take this scripture with you." Ah Nuo said to them.

The monkey immediately felt that Ah Nuan was hinting at something.

At this time he deliberately bumped the carrying pole and the scriptures fell out.

The scripture was gently turned by the breeze, and there was not a single word on the book!
The monkey immediately became furious and wanted to cause trouble for Kasyapa.

But Kasyapa was not afraid at all. He looked at Tang Seng with a smile.

"Let's go! Let's go and talk to Tathagata!" the monkey shouted angrily.

The monkey ignored others' objections and went to the main hall with the wordless scripture.

Zhu Bajie and Sha Seng saw that Kasyapa had a fearless look and thought that this matter might not have any result in the end.

"Do you have any silver left?" Sha Seng asked in a low voice.

"No! No!" Zhu Bajie said immediately, "Don't try to take my money.

Master has a bowl, so it would be most appropriate to use it to exchange for the sutra."

"Tathagata! My master and I have endured countless hardships and difficulties to come here from the East, just to seek the true scriptures.

If this matter is really discussed, wasn't it you who were the ones who instigated the journey to obtain the scriptures?

Now that Kasyapa was unable to take away his money, he deliberately gave us a blank piece of paper. What would we do with it? We can't use it to save all living beings!
The Tathagata sat high on the lotus platform and said with a smile, "Stop yelling. I already know what they are asking you for.

This sutra should not be passed on lightly, nor should it be taken without any purpose.

At that time, all the bhikkhus and holy monks came down the mountain and recited this sutra to Elder Zhao at his home in Savatthi State to ensure the safety of the living and the transcendence of the dead. They only asked for three measures of wheat grains and gold from him.

I also said that they sold it too cheaply, leaving their descendants with no money to spend. Now you come to take it empty-handed, so you passed on the copy for nothing.

The white version is the wordless scripture, which is actually good.

Because the people in your Eastern Land are ignorant and confused, I can only pass this on to you."

Without waiting for the monkey to continue, Tathagata called out, "Ananda, Kasyapa, quickly give him a few volumes of the written scriptures, and report the number here."

Kasyapa led the other three people in a high-handed manner to the Treasure Tower and still asked Tang Seng for personnel matters.

Without waiting for Tang Seng to speak, Sha Seng took out the purple gold bowl and presented it to him with both hands.

"This bowl was given by the King of Tang. My master used it to beg for food along the way. I am offering it to you now as a token of my gratitude. Please give us the true scriptures, Venerable."

That Kasyapa snorted coldly, but did not embarrass these poor guys anymore.

Zhu Bajie, Sha Seng and others carefully read the scriptures one by one and put them away.

Elder Tang was also helping out!
Only the monkey sat there sneering.

I initiated this journey to obtain the scriptures, but in the end, I still need money and manpower for it!
After getting the true scriptures, the matter is not over yet. They still need to thank Tathagata.

The monkey said angrily, "We exchanged this sutra for our bowl, it wasn't given by Tathagata!

Why should we thank him? "

Only a monkey would dare to say that.

"Let's go and take a look!" said Tang Seng.

After hearing what Elder Tang said, Monkey no longer bothered with them.

When he saw the Tathagata, he asked, "How many scriptures did you pass on to Tripitaka?"

Kasyapa quickly answered them one by one.

"There are thirty-five volumes in total, and five thousand and forty-eight scrolls were found in each volume, which were left in Tang Dynasty along with the biography of Tang Sanzang. Now they are all packed up and arranged on the shoulders of men and horses."

“The merits of this sutra are immeasurable.

Although it is a mirror for our school, it is actually the source of the three religions.

If I go to your Southern Continent and show it to all living beings, tell them not to treat them with disrespect.

"You cannot open the book without bathing and fasting. Treasure it! Value it! For it contains the secrets of becoming an immortal and realizing the Way, and the miraculous formula for discovering all kinds of things." Tathagata said to Tang Monk again.

The monkey could not help but said, "Indeed! Indeed! How can I not treasure and value the true scripture I got in exchange for the purple gold bowl!"

As soon as these words were spoken, the entire main hall fell silent.

Tathagata looked at the monkey and said, "Sun Wukong, I thought that the hardships of this journey would have helped to get rid of your vicious nature.

But I didn't expect that you still can't change your nature!"

The monkey said coldly, "If I were still the same person I was back then, I would definitely have a big fight with you today!"

"How dare you!" the eight Vajra shouted together.

The monkey looked at them fearlessly.

"I actually have a question that I would like to ask Buddha Tathagata!" Tang Seng finally spoke at this time.

"Sanzang, you ask!" Tathagata seemed to have a different opinion on Tang Sanzang.

"Can this sutra really save the world?" Tang Seng clasped his hands together and a golden light was faintly visible all over his body.

"Why not!" Kasyapa said angrily.

"If it is possible! Then why does Xiniu Hezhou look like this?" Tang Seng finally asked the doubts in his heart.

Tathagata lowered his eyes, looked at Tang Seng and asked, "Sanzang, what do you want to say?"

“I want to say that Buddhist scriptures can save all living beings.

But you can’t!” After Tang Seng finished speaking, golden light shone all over his body.

Monkey originally thought that he was reckless enough, but he didn't expect that his master was even more reckless than him!

Zhu Bajie, Sha Seng and Bailong were all stunned.

Is this still their master who is easily frightened and cries?
This, this matter is too crazy!
“You talk about saving all living beings, but you only see yourselves, not all living beings!
Your food and drink are provided by believers, but you treat them as ants!

"Tathagata, you! How dare you do this!" Tang Seng asked loudly.

The monkey took out his golden cudgel without saying a word, and without caring about anything else, he started by hitting Kasyapa with the cudgel!

He had disliked that guy for a long time.

Zhu Bajie and Sha Seng also took out their weapons, and the same thing happened when the white horse turned into a human.

They protected Tang Seng behind them, just like they did when they encountered monsters along the way!
"Tang Sanzang, have you been bewitched by some evil magic?" Kasyapa shouted coldly.

“To say a few words for sentient beings is to be confused?

How can this be justified!" Tang Seng's tone was rarely filled with anger.

"Who! Who asked you to say this to me!" Tathagata asked coldly.

“This is what we saw along the way!
It was the people who died in the mouths of the monsters, and the Lion Camel Kingdom that was eaten on the Lion Camel Ridge!

It's the believers you let down!" Tang Seng said seriously.

"Capture him!" Tathagata said to Kasyapa.

"Eight Vajra, capture them!" Kasyapa shouted immediately.

As soon as he finished speaking, a stick fell down, and the golden light protecting Kasyapa's body was directly broken by the monkey.

The Eight Vajra Kings would naturally not look at the monkey like this.

The eight of them each had their own combat skills, but the monkey was not afraid at all. With a turn of his golden cudgel, he swept them seven or eight feet away one by one.

"Kasyapa! Take another hit from your grandpa Sun!" said the monkey with a big laugh.

I'm afraid I won't be able to come back today!

But it’s hard to come back! Then I won’t come back!
This time, Kasyapa was beaten with a bloody head and looked very embarrassed.

"Wukong, don't hurt his life!" Tang Seng said at this time. "Now that we have the scriptures, let's go!"

"Go! No one of you can leave today!" Kasyapa roared in embarrassment.

"You two protect the master and leave. I'll take over!" said the monkey with full fighting spirit.

"It's such a pity for this monkey. If you were willing to lay down your butcher knife, I would like to make you the Fighting Holy Buddha." Tathagata said with some regret.

"I am the Great Sage Equaling Heaven, Sun Wukong!" said the monkey with a sneer.

But this Fighting Saint Buddha does sound powerful.

But on second thought, this name sounds nice, but he is just a thug of Buddhism!
"You have protected me all along the way. This time, it is my turn to protect you!" Tang Seng's body was shining brightly. (End of this chapter)
