The shaving off, originating from the unseen, was formless and intangible, and should not have been noticed by anyone—yet at this moment, under the surge of this incomparably heavy power of destiny, the process of shaving off destiny was felt very clearly by everyone!

Those immortals and gods involved in this matter clearly sensed that with each turn of the gear, their fates thinned by a fraction... Their outward manifestations—vital energy, supernatural powers, cultivation techniques, spiritual attainment, physical strength, and so on—also thinned by a fraction.
