Chapter 1123 Found it
“Contact Bobby.” Sam pulled out his phone, his tone decisive. “And all of Father’s old friends—Eileen, Mrs. Harriet, everyone we know—we must find a way to summon the White-Eyed Demons, or at least find any information about them!”
The Black Antelope car sped along the quiet night road, carrying the three back to their temporary lodging.
The atmosphere inside the car was heavy and urgent. Sam and Dean were making the most of the time, constantly making phone calls and sending messages, using their connections to try and dig out a glimmer of hope from demon-hunting knowledge or long-forgotten memories.
Wu Heng remained silent in the back seat, his gaze fixed on the deep night outside the window. No one knew what he was thinking at that moment. His profile appeared even more profound in the flickering light and shadow outside the window.
Inside the temporary rental, the air was as stagnant as if it were filled with lead.
The light from the laptop screen reflected on Sam's furrowed brow as he hung up yet another fruitless phone call with Bobby.
Dean slammed the beer bottle he was holding onto the wooden table in frustration, making a jarring sound.
“Damn it, nothing’s working!” he growled, running his fingers through his short hair. “Bobby has searched through his entire library, Ellen has asked all her informants, and even those weirdos hiding in the corners of the internet say they’ve never heard of a way to summon Lucifer’s Guard.”
"Either it requires some damn thing like Cain's bone or Judas' silver coin!"
Compared to Sam, he spent more time with his father, and beneath his playboy exterior lies an extremely sensitive nature when it comes to family affection.
Sam closed his laptop, his voice hoarse with fatigue and anxiety:
“It’s either lost to time, or the conditions are so demanding that it’s impossible to achieve. And it seems like the ‘line’ on the other side of Hell has been completely severed. Bobby said he tried several low-level summoning techniques that used to always get a response, but... there was complete silence, nothing at all.”
He looked up at Wu Heng, who stood quietly by the window, seemingly blending into the deep night outside:
“Lor, just like you said, they are scared. We have completely alarmed them.”
"These guys are really cowards, yet they dare to call themselves demons."
Dean jumped up and paced in the cramped space: "What are we going to do? Just sit here and wait for Daddy to suffer in some corner of hell?!"
His voice was filled with helplessness.
Wu Heng, who had been silent all along, slowly turned around. His expression appeared particularly profound and calm in the dim light, a stark contrast to the Winchester brothers' anxiety.
"Actually, there is another way."
“Since they are not responding to the call,” Wu Heng’s voice rang out calmly, as if stating a simple fact, “then we will force them to come.”
Dean stopped in his tracks, his eyes lighting up instantly. He quickly looked at Wu Heng and asked, "What do you mean?"
“Demons, especially high-level demons, are not completely dormant.” Wu Heng’s gaze swept over the two of them. “They are exceptionally sensitive to certain energy fluctuations, just like predators in the dark forest, always reacting to the scents that most arouse their appetite.”
“We are witchers. The difference between us and hunters is that they hunt wild beasts, while we hunt evil creatures.”
"Hunting skills are universal, including tracking, shooting, and setting traps!"
Sam seemed to have grasped something: "You mean create a bait that they can't ignore?"
“That’s right.” Wu Heng nodded. “The White-Eyed Demon is directly related to the Demon Prince I extracted earlier; both of them received an order from Hell.”
He paused, then continued in a calm, analytical tone, "We can use this to launch a powerful reverse energy shock in a place where hellish energy is already concentrated, or simulate a miniature, brief 'Hell Gate fluctuation.' It's like lighting a huge bonfire in a silent forest," Sam understood. "The demons responsible for maintaining the forest will be attracted."
“But it will also attract other ferocious beasts, won’t it?” Dean frowned, grasping the key risk point.
“That’s inevitable,” Wu Heng admitted. “Energy doesn’t lie. This level of fluctuation could attract anything interested in high-level hell energy, such as other powerful demons or even some ancient evil spirits that feed on negative energy.”
"Risks and opportunities coexist!"
Dean and Sam exchanged a glance. In Dean's eyes was a resolute determination, while in Sam's eyes was a steadfast resolve after careful consideration.
“Let’s do it!” Dean said almost immediately. “Could things get any worse than this?”
“We need a suitable location.” Sam had already picked up his computer and started searching: “Energy Convergence Point: Remnants of a Large Number of Deathly Hells”
“West of the city, Arkham Abandoned Mental Hospital.” Wu Heng recited a name almost without thinking, clearly having already sensed the city’s aura. “On the surface, it’s a mental hospital, but deep underground, it was once a ritual site for an extreme cult in the 1960s, with more than 100 unnatural deaths. The resentment and hellish energy there are quite deep.”
Without hesitation, the three of them immediately took action.
Arkham Asylum has been abandoned for a long time, and its main building stands like a huge, decaying concrete tombstone in the desolate courtyard.
The air was filled with dust, mold, and a faint, nauseatingly sweet, fishy smell.
In the deepest part of the basement, in a circular space that might have been a blood sacrifice hall for a cult, Wu Heng was using a specially made dagger that gleamed with an eerie light to carve complex and blasphemous runes on the ground.
The lines are precise and fluid, quickly forming a dazzling array that can make you dizzy after just a few glances.
The Winchester brothers were responsible for clearing the site and setting up defensive salt lines and simple protective runes from the newly learned society at the only entrance.
Wu Heng took out the specially made test tube from his pocket. The thick, dark golden liquid of the "Twisted Seed" flowed quietly inside, containing a heart-palpitating power.
He carefully dripped about six drops into the core groove of the rune array.
"Step back," he whispered.
The two brothers immediately retreated, gripping their machetes and pistols, which were stained with holy water bullets, tightly.
Wu Heng stood at the edge of the formation, raised his hands, and chanted short, obscure syllables.
This is not any known demonic or angelic language; rather, it is more like a primal command that directly drives the source of energy.
Buzz--!
The rune array suddenly lit up with a dark red light, and the demonic essence at its core began to boil and evaporate violently, turning into a visible fluctuation, and finally forming a torrent of dark energy.
This torrent did not spread upwards; instead, like a venomous snake, it surged downwards, penetrating the concrete floor and penetrating deep into the ground. (End of Chapter)
