Chapter 1189 Disguise
Sam looked at the injured Ruby, and thought of Dean's disappearance and the imminent sealing. Although he still had doubts about Ruby, he couldn't care less about that now.
Neither Dean nor I are children who can't handle things when we're apart.
"lead the way!"
Sam said in a deep voice, clenching his fists, as the demonic power within him began to surge quietly.
Ruby nodded, turned around and led the way, walking quickly toward the old warehouse she had pointed out.
However, just as Sam was following closely behind, his attention completely focused on the potential dangers ahead, a cunning and calculating glint flashed in the depths of Ruby's eyes as she walked ahead.
Pure white, silent, flawless.
Dean felt as if he had been stuffed inside a huge, smooth egg.
Even the sound of my own breathing and heartbeat seemed exceptionally jarring.
Like a trapped wild beast, he futilely pounded his fists against the wall, rammed his body against every seemingly possible connection, and even tried to shoot at the ceiling.
However, the silver-plated bullet only left a tiny white spot on the seemingly ordinary white wall before disappearing, and the wall instantly returned to its original state.
"Save your energy, Dean."
Saga, the archangel who had been staying in the room, dressed in a charcoal black suit and with impeccable silver hair, moved an exquisite leather armchair and a small mahogany counter from somewhere and sat there elegantly, as if he were in the lounge of a high-end club.
He took a bottle of what looked like expensive red wine from the counter, opened it skillfully, and poured the deep red liquid into a crystal glass.
He gently swirled the wine in his glass, the crimson liquid forming elegant wavy arcs on the glass, his gaze calmly fixed on Dean, who looked like a trapped beast.
Then, with an infuriatingly leisurely and indifferent tone, he said, "Dean, why don't you rest here for a while and wait for the Apocalypse to begin? Witnessing the arrival of a new era is the only valuable thing for you right now."
"Fuck your worth!" Dean gasped, sweat beading on his forehead, glaring fiercely at Saga. "Let me out! I have to go help my Sam!"
Saga took a sip of his drink, nodded slightly as if savoring the aroma, and then said slowly, "Give up. Your actions are a futile struggle."
“This is a dimensional space independent of your reality. It is a rest room that I prepared especially for you. With the weak angelic power within you, you cannot even shake the slightest rules here.”
He set down his glass, leaned forward slightly, his deep eyes locked onto Dean, and a helpless yet arrogant smile played on his lips.
"Unless a true angel is willing to help you, but do you think anyone would dare to help you under the current will of Heaven?"
His words were filled with absolute confidence, as if he had already taken control of everything.
However, the moment he finished speaking.
Dean, whose face was contorted with anger and helplessness, suddenly grinned, revealing a smile that was both roguish and unruly.
“Looks like you’re right,” Dean’s voice returned to its usual tone, even with a hint of teasing, “I really can’t break this damn white box of yours, but…”
He gestured towards the area behind Saga with his lip, his eyes filled with surprise.
For the first time, Saga's confident expression showed a clear moment of surprise.
Driven by instinct and a touch of disbelief, he was about to turn around to look behind him.
"Bang!!"
A massive, pure punch, imbued with angelic power, slammed into his lower back like a heavy hammer. "Ugh!"
Saga was caught off guard by the powerful kidney punch, the angelic force striking his core. He was sent flying into the air by the immense force.
Her elegant demeanor vanished, the crystal glass slipped from her hand and flew out, the crimson wine splattering in a horrifying arc through the air.
He crashed into the white wall in the distance with a dull thud.
What angered him even more was that, in the instant he was knocked away, the angel's blade, made of pure holy light energy and symbolizing the status and power of a high-ranking angel, which was tucked behind his waist, was snatched away by a familiar hand.
"Castio!"
Saga steadied himself, turned around abruptly, and looked at the figure that had appeared behind him at some point, wearing a brown trench coat, whose eyes were no longer cold but full of determination and humanity.
He immediately let out an angry growl: "How dare you betray the will of Heaven?!"
“Castio, you’ve come at just the right time!” Dean grinned at Castio, who had appeared just in time. “I knew you wouldn’t let me down.”
He quickly stepped forward to meet up with Castio.
Dean was genuinely happy because he keenly sensed that the aloofness and indifference that had previously made him uneasy about Castio had disappeared, replaced by a familiar, clumsy yet sincere 'human touch'.
"Let's go, get out of here quickly!"
Ignoring Saga's roar, Castio anxiously spoke to Dean, pointing the Angel Blade he had just seized at his palm.
Then the movement suddenly stopped.
He then remembered that he was holding the Angel's Blade in his hand!
For angels, this thing is both the ultimate weapon and a deadly poison; if they accidentally cut too deep, they themselves might have to return to heaven first.
She immediately put away the Angel Blade as if she had been burned, and instead stretched out her other hand, using her slightly sharp nails to cut her palm.
A liquid, a mixture of angelic essence and Jimmy's physical blood, seeped out.
Taking advantage of the power escaping from Saga's body, he didn't stop, using his fingers as a brush to quickly draw a complex teleportation array outlined in blood on the smooth white wall.
"How dare you do this, Castio! You'll regret this!" Saga's anger intensified as he stared at the blood array radiating ominous energy. He began to gather even more terrifying light energy around himself, preparing to forcefully interrupt it.
"What happened to Sam?" Dean asked, seizing the opportunity.
“No time to explain!” Castio didn’t turn around, speeding up his painting while whispering quickly to Dean, “After I was summoned back to Heaven, I was severely punished, but all that repentance and obedience was an act. In order to come back and help you, I had to fool them!”
The blood array was complete, emitting a white light.
“I have come to love this world, and I love these imperfect yet vibrant people.” Castio’s voice was resolute. “I will never stand by and watch Heaven turn into a cold ‘graveyard’!”
The light surged, instantly engulfing Dean and Castio.
"Traitors, you won't escape!"
Saga's roar and a devastating blast of holy light arrived almost simultaneously, but only shattered the fading crimson runes left behind after the two disappeared. (End of Chapter)
