"what!"

Jesse let out a short, sharp cry, a cry of relief mixed with pain, as he felt something heavy, restless, and that had been binding him within him completely disappear.

Guided by the balancing array, the extracted power of words eventually condensed into a walnut-sized 'balancing crystal' with what appeared to be a transparent nebula flowing inside, constantly shifting between four colors, and fell into Wu Heng's hands.

The light from the array slowly faded.

Jesse lay there, feeling an unprecedented weakness, as if he had run a marathon, but along with it came an indescribable sense of ease and freedom.

The heavy sense of power that had been weighing on his soul was gone.

He tried to move a piece of paper as before, but he could no longer feel any extraordinary power. He had truly become an ordinary person.

The door to the safe house was flung open, and Mark and Catherine, supported by Dean and Sam, stumbled in.

"Jesse!"

"my child!"

With tears streaming down their faces, the couple rushed into the magic circle, where the residual energy had not yet completely dissipated, and tightly embraced the weak but bright-eyed Jesse.

The family of three embraced and wept. All the fear, separation, and pain transformed into the joy of reunion and silent love.

Their family was finally truly reunited.

Wu Heng sealed the 'Balance Crystal' in his hand, which contained all of Jesse's original power, in an absolutely shielded box constructed of multiple layers of inscribed metal and 'Balance Power', and hid it in the deepest part of the manor.

He solemnly promised Jesse and the Turner that he would properly handle this power.

In order to give Jesse a truly safe and peaceful environment to grow up in, they were placed in the guild.

The Witcher Guild had already purchased a large tract of land and buildings behind it, establishing a secluded community called 'Oak Shield'.

The community's perimeter was personally fortified with a powerful, multi-layered spell barrier, combining effects such as concealment, defense, and early warning.

They also arranged for rigorously vetted, loyal and reliable witcher families to take turns guarding the area, patrolling 24 hours a day to completely isolate Heaven from the demons' detection.

It is a house specifically built to house the families of some witchers.

This is to eliminate some of the worries of certain witchers.

After all, what they fear most is that their families will be threatened while they are fighting on the front lines, and the community housing that can be redeemed with points solves this problem better.

Jesse, now known as Jesse Miller, used Katherine's maiden name and moved with her adoptive parents into a white house with a small garden in the community center.

He transferred to a private school near his community, wearing a plain blue school uniform and carrying a backpack with cartoon patterns, and walked to school with the neighborhood children every day.

In class, he listened attentively. Mathematics and science became his new challenges, and also the source of his joy in experiencing the 'ordinary'.

In his spare time, he would take walks with his adoptive parents on the quiet streets of the community, go to see the latest animated movie on weekends, or learn how to prune rose bushes in the backyard with Mark's father.

Dean and Sam also came to visit them. Dean would still bring some exaggerated, 'harmlessly' altered demon-hunting stories, which would make Jesse exclaim in surprise. But he himself never participated in anything related to the supernatural again.

His face gradually regained the genuine relaxed smile that belonged to his age. Mark also got a minor job at the Witcher Guild, not for money, but to gain some protection.

To the guild, he was one of their own.

In the days that followed, Jesse fully integrated into life in the Oak Shield community.

He excelled academically, showing particular interest in painting and history, and made several good friends with whom he could play basketball and share gaming tips.

He even joined the school's gardening group, patiently tending to his own little vegetable patch.

Everything seemed to be on the right track, and that past filled with angels, demons, and the power of words seemed to have truly become a distant nightmare.

Wu Heng, who had obtained the 'Jesse Power', was researching this power deep within the Morrick Manor.

A faint but absolutely not negligible alarm signal lit up on the monitoring array in front of him.

Wu Heng stared at the tightly sealed 'balance crystal', his brows furrowing slightly. The four-colored energy that had been flowing steadily inside the crystal began to show a barely perceptible resonance wave pointing into the distance.

The analysis report on 'internet addiction' was simultaneously displayed on the screen:

[An unknown energy frequency band has been detected attempting to establish a connection with the "Balance Crystal." Energy property analysis: Not from the Heavenly sequence, not from the Hellish lineage... Matches ancient records... Suspected to be related to the 'Chaos Power' race... Warning: This race is dedicated to breaking all order and pursuing a return to primordial chaos...]

Wu Heng's eyes sharpened.

It seems that even though Jesse's power has been stripped away and sealed, its essence as a product of the 'loophole' still attracts certain beings like sweet honey in the darkness.

What they probably want is not to use Jesse, but to seize the crystal, reactivate or even distort its power, and turn Jesse into a puppet for them to spread chaos and destruction.

He silently turned off the alarm without notifying anyone, especially Jesse and his family, who were enjoying a rare moment of peace in the Oak Shield community.

"Butler," Wu Heng called softly.

In the shadows, Death's butler silently appeared.

"Secretly reinforce all defense levels of the 'Oak Shield' community, especially against intrusions by 'souls' and 'consciousness'."

"Use all available resources," Wu Heng ordered, his tone calm yet resolute. "At the same time, notify Dean and Sam to increase the frequency and duration of their visits to the community under the guise of 'regular visits'."

"..." The Grim Reaper's butler bowed and nodded in acceptance, then disappeared into the shadows.

Wu Heng walked to the window and looked out at the deep night outside the manor.

He was still pondering whether to integrate this 'Jesse Power' into himself, give it to the puppet evil spirit, or create an artifact—a ring that could hold the four Apocalypse Rings as a neutralizing ring, allowing him to control the power of the 'Four Horsemen of the Apocalypse'.

These are all methods of utilizing combined forces, and they will not exceed the scope of 'His' scriptwriting.

It's still within the rules of this 'game'.

However, regardless of the approach, deeper research is needed. Without utilizing its inherent 'special characteristics,' a suitable opportunity is required, much like the process of scientific research. (End of Chapter)
