Chapter 841 Preface
-
"I am Magnus!"

"I am the true Crimson King! Your genetic father! I am the very beginning!"

"How could you be so blind as to recognize a thief as your father!"

The roaring red-skinned giant angrily spread his brightly colored, ever-changing wings, with thousands of eyes that twinkled like stars, and no two eyes were the same color when they were open or closed.

"Why did you run away? Why did you abandon me? My wretched and foolish sons!"

The roar of the Tzeentch demon prince, who had two horns and two wings, sharp claws and a bird's tail, and whose head was gradually beginning to transform into the shape of a bird's beak, caused the sky and the earth of Wizarding Star to twist and move in a way that completely defied the laws of physics, in accordance with the psychic tides generated by his will.

Beyond the ruins of Tizka's Old City, atop the towering obsidian spire, the colossal shadow of the demon Magnus is engulfing the entire platform.

His fingers, covered in scarlet scales, clenched tightly, and blue-purple psionic sparks burst forth as his claws pierced the void.

The message that had just reached him from the whispering winds of the warp was like a poisoned dagger, piercing his mind of the pride he once held as the father of the Legion and the lord of the demons: another wizard lord, whom he had once favored most, had secretly fled the wizarding world with an entire thousand sons of a warband.

Even worse, the so-called "Red Letter Warriors and Wizards" they left behind were nothing more than substitutes pieced together from the bodies of cultists and illusions.

At this moment, these scarecrows are lying on the ground, turning into puddles of sulfurous dust.

"Hypocritical humility! You are not even worthy to be my sacrifice!"

The roar of Tzeentch's demon prince Magnus, seemingly emanating from his throat, directly shattered the psionic slaves who were burning as psionic fuel in the spheres surrounding him. Fragments of flesh mixed with charcoal ash fell to the ground and were immediately swallowed by the shifting marble floor.

The prisms, inscribed with Tzeentch runes and scattered throughout the tower space, exploded, their fragments twisting into screaming faces in mid-air before being instantly torn apart by the surging torrent of psionic energy surrounding him.

The demon Magnus's single eye closed, then suddenly opened again.

What swirled in those bird-like pupils was not light, but a condensed subspace storm, churning with endless, powerful forces of change, and also surging with the dignity that had been trampled upon.

The first to respond to this anger was the Wizard Star beneath their feet.

Those crystalline obelisks imitating the old Prospero style began to tremble irregularly, the magical patterns on their surfaces wandered wildly like living things, and the original crystalline brilliance was gradually replaced by a morbid alternation of colorful patterns.

The horned beasts performing psionic rituals in various plazas suddenly let out terrified screams. The spiral horns on their heads began to break off on their own, and what spurted from the broken ends was not blood, but a savage soul mixed with runes.

Further away, the crystalline forests covering the planet's surface emitted a piercing screeching sound. The towering crystal pillars began to bend and twist, as if braided by an invisible hand. Fragments of psionic souls sealed within the pillars struggled violently, their faces, screaming in agony, reflected through the crystals. The sky, meanwhile, had become a playground for raging chaotic energy.

The atmosphere, filled with various colors of light, collapsed into countless fragmented bands of light. Red, blue, gold, and green blocks collided and merged wildly in the void, sometimes transforming into rolling waves of fire, and sometimes condensing into a rain of shimmering runes.

A twisted bolt of lightning didn't strike the ground; instead, it coiled around a suspended meteorite like a snake, twisting it into the profile of Magnus's roaring face. In the next second, it exploded into countless psionic birds flying through the air. The wings of the birds reflected Tzeentch's mark, and as they landed, they instantly transformed from adult birds back into eggs, turning into shattered eggs on the ground.

The entire planet's strata expanded violently in the wrath of the demon prince, with new terrain constantly appearing out of thin air at the edges of the rifts: one moment it was the Ash Plains of Prospero, the next it was turned into an abyss covered with crystal spikes, and countless whispers came from the bottom of the abyss, the servants of Tzeentch mocking this betrayal and stirring up an even more insane chaos.

"But where do they think they can escape to? That imposter has long since vanished, and how can a mere fragment bear the weight of a great name that thirsts for knowledge! The psychic connection between me and each of my offspring was completed countless years ago. Their escape is merely a desperate struggle before my plan is put into action! Ten thousand years have passed! A new army has already formed on Wizard Star! I will once again lead my legion to Prospero! Let my nemesis witness my revenge!"

Magnus's voice carried a chilling laugh, and the psionic storm in his single eye gradually condensed into a spinning rune. "Wizardworld will be the great miracle that pulled me from the warp into reality, and it will also be the graveyard of my enemies and your eternal home! My foolish sons!"

As Wizard Star, fueled by his immense power and the burning of billions of enslaved souls, gradually approached the boundary between the real universe and the warp, the entire warp seemed to boil over. The collision of energies created countless psionic vortexes, devouring all approaching chaotic creatures and unstable psionic structures.

In the real universe, the sky above the Prospero system suddenly became strange. The once stable starlight began to flicker erratically, as if shrouded in an invisible veil. Then, space began to distort, and black cracks, like gruesome wounds, spread across the sky. Within these cracks flickered eerie light from the subspace—a color beyond description; any unfortunate mortal who witnessed it would have their head explode or be reduced to a jumbled mass of flesh.

Wizard Star slowly emerged from the largest of these cracks, its appearance like a boulder thrown into a calm lake, causing a violent tremor in the real universe.

Planetary orbits in the Prospero system began to shift, the gravitational field became chaotic, and some small satellites were torn apart by the powerful gravity and turned into cosmic dust.

The physical laws and logic surrounding Wizard Star have been completely broken. Time and space have become distorted and chaotic. Light no longer travels in straight lines but bends into eerie arcs, as if the entire region has been drawn into a huge, invisible vortex.

In contrast to the Prospero system, which is undergoing such earth-shattering changes, deep within the Crystal Labyrinth, things are unusually quiet, with even the noisiest Fearful Demons nowhere to be seen.

Only a strange, faint "da la la la da la la la" sound echoed intermittently across the tips of the millions of crystals, ringing incessantly.

This unprecedented and terrifying situation terrified all the famous and influential demon lords, who had long since fled on foot, finding excuses to be summoned or go on business trips, fearing that if they were too slow, they would be annihilated, body and soul.

However, Lord Magnus, the Demon Prince, has been busy with his grand plans on Wizard Star and has not noticed the changes in the Crystal Maze at all. So it can't be said that he is wrong, but it can't be said that there is a problem with the Crystal Maze either, right?
If he had simply inquired about his great father, Lord Tzeentch, wouldn't he have known? The logic that one doesn't care or ask questions and therefore doesn't know is perfectly valid.

Therefore... the debts caused by the demon Magnus in the real universe belong to the individual, and when it comes time to settle accounts, they will naturally have nothing to do with Lord Tzeentch, who is completely unaware of them and is currently entertaining guests.
