The ancestor of all monsters in Shushan

Chapter 708: Zen Master, Please Respect Yourself

Xie Shan knew that the nun Xinru had taken away the Seven Treasures Golden Pagoda and the Palm Leaf Talisman, and he also knew that Master Fentuo had gone to ask for them several times but failed.

But he could never believe that Xin Ru Shen Ni would deliberately kill Xie Ying, extract her soul, and put Princess Honghua into Xie Ying's body.

He believed that a nun who had attained enlightenment in Buddhism should not be able to do such a thing!

He has been practicing Buddhism for thousands of years but has failed in his previous lives. This is also related to his personality. He has accumulated bad karma from his past and is burdened by his two daughters. This is also related to his personality.

He asked Master Youtan to help him pull Xie Lin out of the delusion, while he went to find Xin Ru Shen Ni to ask for Xie Ying's soul and ask her in person what she wanted to do!
After leaving Wuyi Mountain, Xie Shan flew to Jiuhua Mountain as quickly as possible.

The place of practice that Xinru Shen Nun chose for herself was Jiuhua Mountain. She compared her own great wish to the great wish of Ksitigarbha Bodhisattva, and gathered many Buddhist masters to jointly compile a "Xinru Bodhisattva's Original Vow Sutra", preparing to spread it to the world. Since moving here, she has often used her magic power to create miracles.

She made great changes to Mount Jiuhua and even brought in peaks from overseas to graft between the mountains.

A total of nine mountain peaks were created, each of which was shaped like a lotus. Then, a spell was cast to use spiritual energy to create a sea of clouds that covered a thousand miles and obscured the mountains, and then Buddha's light appeared on the top of each mountain.

Looking from below, there is a circle of hazy light flashing on the nine mountaintops, illuminating the sea of clouds, as if the Buddha himself is present.

A large number of people were devout believers and prostrated themselves to worship the Buddha. Many of them kowtowed as soon as they left their homes, and bowed with every step they took until they reached the top of the mountain, worshiping the Buddha's light with great sincerity.

Xinru Shen Ni also built temples on the mountains. There was a big temple on each mountain peak, and there were small temples in the mountains, each with a presiding officer.

The ten great Arhats in front of her seat have not yet gathered together, and she has been recruiting people and converting to the religion recently.

When Xie Shan arrived, she was talking to two nuns in the palace.

These two nuns were not unknown persons either. One was called Fairy Han Qiong, with the Buddhist name Guangming, and the other was nicknamed Female Wei Hu, with the Buddhist name Guanghui.

Master Guangming was the master of the divine hand monk Wei Fengniang. She was stabbed in the arm by Wei Fengniang and the Western evil monk Buluyinjia with a black poison, and had to have her arm amputated, becoming a one-armed swordsman. She was also very angry, and even converting to Buddhism could not quench the anger in her heart, and in the end she could only reincarnate again.

However, after her reincarnation, she still carried the hot temper and resentment from her previous life. After Wei Fengniang broke her arm, she did not seek revenge on the surface, but in fact, she was filled with deep resentment. She thought that she could forget all those things by shaving her head and becoming a nun, but in fact, she could not forget them at all.

In this life, he practiced Buddhism again. When he entered into a state of meditation, he kept thinking of Wei Fengniang. Every time he thought of Wei Fengniang, his arms would ache slightly and anger would arise!

She knew that Wei Fengniang had become her inner demon. If she didn't resolve this feud, she would never be able to practice Buddhism and ascend to paradise.

So after she mastered the magic, she repeatedly sought revenge on Wei Fengniang.

At that time, Wei Fengniang was following Ji Fandu and jointly managing the Western Religion, acting like the Supreme Leader. She herself had already become a god and demon, and was able to fly and transform, with considerable magical powers.

Master Guangming went to seek revenge on Wei Fengniang three times but failed. Finally, she went with her junior sister and almost succeeded. She had already sealed Wei Fengniang inside with the Buddhist beads she had refined. However, the Western religion was very powerful at that time, and Ji Fandu summoned the God Cangxu to act from a distance, and almost captured her soul and took it to the West.

The two sisters fled in a panic, and secluded themselves in the mountains for many years, refining magic weapons, preparing to join forces with their younger sister to find Wei Fengniang later.

As a result, the Western Church was wiped out by Shi Feiyang, except for the Xie Wang faction, which was completely destroyed. Ji Fandu and Wei Fengniang were also captured and never appeared again.

Although Wei Fengniang herself could no longer be found, she still often appeared in Master Guangming's state of meditation.

Every time Master Guangming meditated, Wei Fengniang would appear in various forms. She visualized the Western Buddha, and Amitabha appeared in her state of concentration. She chanted the Buddha's name devoutly, and as she chanted, Amitabha's face turned into Wei Fengniang's. Soon after, the faces of Guanyin Bodhisattva and Mahasthamaprapta Bodhisattva beside them also turned into Wei Fengniang's...

If she can even "impersonate" Buddha, what else can't she do? She looked at all her enemies, relatives and creditors from past lives, no matter if they were her parents or children, no matter how sad or happy the process was, no matter how hard she tried to preach to them and how much work she did, in the end they would all become Wei Fengniang.

The most terrifying thing was that one day later, she found that she had also become Wei Fengniang!

Not only her, but also Master Guanghui has gradually developed this symptom, and it has become more and more serious in recent years!

The two were at a loss and went to seek advice from Master Fentuo and Master Udumbara respectively. The solutions they gave were both to let her “see through everything, let go, be free and recite the Buddha’s name as the fate dictates.”

The key is that the two of them can't see through it. If they can't see through it, they can't let it go. If they can't let it go, they won't be at ease. If they're not at ease, they can't recite the Buddha's name as fate dictates...

Master Fentuo gave the following countermeasures: "Because your heart is tainted with anger and you are greedy for Buddhahood, the two have combined to turn all Buddhas and Bodhisattvas into Wei Fengniang. In the future, when you encounter this kind of situation, you should make a vow and hope that Wei Fengniang will become a Buddha. You should wish for her to become a Buddha, or even wish for her to be reborn in the Pure Land before you do. In this way, you can turn adversity into prosperity, turn bad karma into good karma, and turn all hostility into peace."

The countermeasure given by Master Youtan was: "Don't see the Tathagata with sight and sound. Just chant the Buddha's name, and every thought is the Buddha. Then everyone you see is the Buddha. All sentient beings in the universe and the Dharma Realm are the incarnations of Amitabha Buddha. You should regard Wei Fengniang as the incarnation of Amitabha Buddha. No matter what she looks like, just chant the Buddha's name and worship the Buddha. Over time, you will naturally break through the delusion and become enlightened, and see the true nature." The two went back and tried, but still failed.

They simply cannot muster the wish for Wei Fengniang to become a Buddha; they hope that Wei Fengniang will go to hell!

They also couldn't imagine Wei Fengniang as the incarnation of Amitabha Buddha. How could Amitabha Buddha be so hateful? To do such a thing as betraying his teacher and destroying his ancestors!

The two of them were unable to cultivate and had been distressed for a long time. One day, they managed to enter a state of meditation again and saw Wei Fengniang again. They were both very angry.

Suddenly, a ball of Buddha's light appeared out of nowhere, and in the Buddha's light appeared a six-foot-tall golden Buddha sitting on a lotus platform. With just a wave of his hand, he destroyed "Wei Fengniang".

The two men hurried forward to pay homage, and the Buddha told them that he was the monk Zhu Youmu who was gathering vetch, and that he was now a disciple of the nun Xinru on Mount Jiuhua. He had received her secret teachings and had cultivated a six-foot-tall golden body. Soon, he would follow the nun to open up the mountain and preach.

He said that Xinru Shenni had obtained the great perfect wisdom and realized the supreme enlightenment, and could save the world from all sufferings and eliminate all worries. If the two of them had any worries and sufferings, they could go to Mount Jiuhua to worship Xinru Shenni.

After the two came out of their meditation state, they gathered together to discuss and both felt that this was an opportunity.

They knew the master of picking wild vines, Zhu Youmu, and had heard of the name of the nun Xinru Shen. They had also been troubled by "Wei Fengniang" for many years. If they could really resolve it, it would be like the presence of Buddhas and Bodhisattvas in person.

So the two of them quickly rushed to Jiuhua Mountain to pay homage to the nun Xinrushen.

Xinru Shenni asked her new disciple Shui Ni Pandu to go and greet him and lead him to the meditation hall.

The two men greeted the master and told him about the troubles they had suffered over the years. Xin Ru Shen Nun smiled and said, "This is easy. I have a secret method to lock the heart, refine the spirit and subdue the demons. It is specifically designed to treat your method. In a state of concentration, I can eliminate hundreds of demons and thousands of evil spirits in a moment."

The two were overjoyed after hearing this. Pandu invited them to become disciples of Xin Ru Shen Ni together: "Master, you are going to start a new sect and preach the Dharma soon. Are you two junior sisters willing to shoulder the responsibility of carrying on the Tathagata's business together?"

Sleeping Pandu is also a famous figure in Buddhism and Taoism. He was originally a figure in the Buddhist sect, but was expelled from the sect by his master because he violated the two precepts of anger and killing, and he was also stubborn and hated evil. He then became a disciple of another earthly immortal, changed into Taoist clothes, and became a fellow junior sister of the Taoist Gongye Huang of the Hundred Animals.

Now Gongye Huang has "ascended to heaven", and Pan Du, who is the master of both Buddhism and Taoism, is still unable to ascend. Seeing the great catastrophe of heaven and earth coming, he is very panicked.

Before Gongye Huang left, there were three most important people he was concerned about: his wife Qin Yan and two junior sisters, one of whom was Pan Du.

He left a letter for Pan Du, saying that if he had any problems in the future he could ask Shi Feiyang for help.

However, Pan Du had a strange personality and did not think highly of Shi Feiyang, who came from an alien background. At that time, she saw that Shi Feiyang was an enemy of the orthodox religions of Buddhism and Taoism, and had gone to the Xingxiu Sea to mingle with evil spirits to refine the Heavenly Demon Slaying Sword, so she did not go there. Until these years, when she was worried about the great catastrophe of heaven and earth and many sword immortals from all over the world moved to the sacred mountain outside the sky, she began to think about whether she should go there as well.

At this critical moment, the nun Xin Ru Shen came to her house and enlightened her with Buddhist teachings, telling her that she had taken the wrong path by entering Taoism over the past few hundred years and that her future path was still in Buddhism.

Pan Du felt that they were very compatible, so he happily followed the order and became a disciple of the nun Xin Ru Shen. He changed back into Buddhist attire and really felt as if he had returned home. He was so moved that his eyes almost filled with tears.

The two nuns Guangming and Guanghui had also heard of Pandu's great name, and were convinced by Xin Rushen Nun, so they immediately became his disciples.

At this time, the nun Xin Ru Shen sensed that Xie Shan had arrived, so she asked the little nun A Ying to go and greet him.

A Ying went to bring Xie Shan in. Xie Shan tried his best to remain restrained and not lose his composure, but his voice was trembling. He asked Xin Rushen Ni whether the soul of his daughter Xie Ying had been captured by her.

Xin Ru Shen Ni pointed at Ah Ying and said, "Isn't this your debt collector? What's so good about it?"

Xie Shan was shocked and looked at Aying. Her eyes and eyebrows did not look like Xie Ying at all, but upon closer inspection of her soul, he found that she was indeed the reincarnation of Xie Ying.

His chest felt warm and he wanted to go over and grab Aying.

Ah Ying stepped back and dodged: "Amitabha! Master, please respect yourself."

Xie Shan stopped and looked at the girl, tears finally streaming down his face: "Ying'er, don't you remember me?"

Ah Ying shook her head: "Amitabha, I have never seen you in this life, but my master told me about you, saying that you were my adoptive father in my previous life. Now that I have been reborn as a human being, it is not appropriate for us to address each other as father and daughter." (End of this chapter)
