Chapter 9 A New Adventure! Did Carrot have a tail amputation?
"Those two children believe you are the murderer and want revenge on you."

Leaning close to the seatback, Carrot casually rubbed his pale fingers on the steering wheel, his gaze sharp as he spoke:
"Therefore, I've decided to take you to meet them."

Upon hearing this, Tony Stark finally understood why Carrot Al's actions seemed to be both a rescue attempt and a complete disregard for his life or death.

"And then what? Let them kill me?"

Carrot El turned on the car's air conditioning, leaned back in his seat, and calmly said:
“I don’t want to interfere in other people’s revenge, and I’m not used to doing things that involve moral blackmail.”

"But I still have some things to do before I bring you to them."

Tony Stark helplessly shrugged, his face revealing utter despair.

"So, I've been kidnapped again?"

Upon hearing this, Carrot El smiled calmly and patted him on the shoulder:

"Just think of it as an incredible adventure."

"That's what the girl who came to the farm to see me before told me too."

As soon as he finished speaking, music from the stereo filled the entire carriage. Tony Stark shook his head self-deprecatingly.
"Come on, buddy, get this straight, you're not some pretty girl!"

The next second, Carrot thoughtfully took out a long, rectangular metal object with an "S" pattern printed on it from the drawer next to him, which looked like some kind of key.

"What's that? S?"

Carrot El leaned back in his chair, remaining silent. He slowly started the vehicle and drove deeper into the desert, countless questions that had lingered in his mind for years.
Carrot El, that's the name printed on the back of that logo.

Why do I have the S symbol of the Kryptonian El family even though I'm wearing a Saiyan battle suit and have a tail?

According to his adoptive father, Jonathan Kent, this mark was the only symbol he wore around his neck.

"Karot, Karot, who am I, anyway?"

El's murmurs echoed in his mind, recalling certain guesses that were about to surface but were uncertain.

This trip is to verify these points.

"Congenital caudal amputation?"

Inside S.H.I.E.L.D., Natasha Romanoff looked rather grim. She rubbed her throbbing temples, feeling her blood pressure spike.

She struggled to connect the seemingly unrelated words: meteorite impact, tail removal, the destruction of the Red Ribbon Army, and Capsule Corporation.

"We found the doctor who performed the surgery."

Nick Fury didn't want to keep things ambiguous any longer; the situation was urgent, and there was no time for suspense.
"According to him, Carrot's adoptive father, Jonathan Kent, performed a tail removal surgery on him when he was a child!"

"Coincidentally, a meteorite fell in the town just one day earlier, but the detectives at the time did not find any meteorite debris in the crater, so they hastily concluded that the meteorite had burned up completely after impact."

"Afterwards, we checked the medical records of the township, the hospital, and the surrounding area within ten kilometers. There were no more than five newborns born in those two days, and through preliminary interviews and investigations, we ruled out the possibility of abandoned infants."

Although the explanation was absurd, Natasha Romanoff understood Nick Fury's meaning and scrutinized him with the look one would give a mentally ill person:

"You don't mean to say he's an alien with a tail, do you??"

Nick Fury was completely unfazed by Natasha's idiotic gaze, because those who didn't know the truth were the real fools. Instead, he added, "And she's an alien who, at the age of thirteen, possessed the ability to annihilate the entire Red Ribbon Army."

Five years ago, Dr. Brizfe's daughter, Bulma, came to the small town in Kansas after a massive tornado struck the area.

"Jonathan Kent was trapped in traffic while rescuing people and was about to be swallowed by a tornado. It was in that moment of crisis that Carrot El displayed extraordinary strength despite Jonathan's warnings."

"But the power he used to save his adoptive father caused many residents to feel alienated and fearful. Although no unpleasant conflicts occurred, it still had a significant impact on the Kent family."

"So he changed his name to Carrot El and left the town with Bulma."

Natasha Romanov murmured, "Is it so as not to implicate my parents?"

Judging from this, he is not a heartless person.

Nick Fury: "Our focus is on how the rise of Capsule Corporation began after Carroteille joined."

Hill continued, "And years later, amidst the massive nationwide launch of Capsule Corporation's first major campaign, Carrot Al, who should have been a key figure, had been missing for two days."

Natasha Romanov quickly realized: "A feint, are they covering for Carrot?"

"That's the key objective!"

Nick Fury's expression hardened, and a hint of seriousness flashed in his solemn eyes:
"We are still unsure of Carrot's purpose, and all the agents we sent to Capsule Corporation have mysteriously disappeared, including Coulson!"

Upon hearing that name, Natasha Romanov instantly stiffened:
"How is he? Have his vital signs disappeared?"

"It's still there, but we can't locate it. Maybe the other party doesn't want to break ties with us, or it could be a trap to make us hesitate to act."

Nick Fury wouldn't have mobilized such a massive amount of manpower and resources if the situation hadn't spiraled out of his control, and might even be a conspiracy targeting the next global upheaval.

"Whether it's technology or military strength, they are ahead of us."

"In our investigations over the past few years, we have found that the rise of the Universal Capsule Company has been very strange."

"For the past ten years, it has been unremarkable until five years ago when it officially rose to prominence through a series of large-scale projects such as contracting demolition projects, slag removal, mine blasting, and disaster ruin reconstruction!"

"They monopolized blasting-related projects in almost half of the Americas with their extremely efficient methods of waste disposal!"

Natasha Romanov asked doubtfully, "Efficient? How efficient?"

"Zero building residue."

"No transportation route."

"No dumping site."

"Labor costs are approximately zero."

"Time. Approximately a few seconds."

Natasha's eyes widened, her mouth agape in disbelief: "??????"
