Back to Diagon Alley, it was just as lively as it had been in the morning, but without the serious Professor McGonagall, the Gray family relaxed a lot more and shopping became more fun.

The Grays visited almost every store carefully---except for a store that sold animal organs and eyeballs. As soon as they entered the door, they saw a huge, rolling eyeball, and Fiona was so scared that she screamed and ran out.

Ferdinand was now able to discuss Quidditch matches and various models of Nimbus 2000 with others without any obstacles, while Fiona bought her hamster Miss Millyne a full set of miniature furniture [with self-cleaning spells cast on it] and various mini skirts, wizard robes, hats and rainbow-colored socks.

Of course, as parents of new students at Hogwarts, they signed a confidentiality agreement with Professor McGonagall on the first day, promising not to tell any non-magical people about the wizarding world and to fulfill their obligation to keep magical items from entering the Muggle world.

A month passed in a flash. On the morning of September 1, Fiona helped Wade check his suitcase again, making sure he had packed everything he needed, from nail clippers and ear picks to autumn and winter clothes. Ferdinand drove him to King's Cross Station.

Platform 9 3/4 was the starting point of the magic journey. From the outside, it was just an ordinary partition wall. Wade pushed a box with an owl cage on it. He walked to the front of the partition wall and turned around to see his parents waving at him with a smile.

Vader also smiled and waved, then turned around and rushed over the wall in one breath.

Fiona covered her mouth and suddenly let out a sob.

Ferdinand put his arm around her shoulders and sighed: "If we could go to the platform to see him off -"

"Don't tell him - I don't want to make Wade feel sad." Fiona sobbed, "Go to school - you should go happily -"

Ferdinand patted her gently and comforted her, "Don't worry, I have heard a lot of news these days - the wizarding world is very peaceful now, and Dumbledore, the greatest wizard of our time, is their headmaster. Wade will be fine in school."
