Chapter 77 Group Individual
Wade told the whole story without exaggeration or whitewashing.

Even so, Professor McGonagall was still furious, her nostrils flaring, as if she could spit fire at any time. She said angrily: "Bullying classmates... and calling them insulting names... We will never allow such behavior - Severus, I will give Mr. Malfoy a month's detention, at least!"

Professor Snape was thinking about something, his face was pale and empty. After hearing what Professor McGonagall said, he was absent-minded for a long time, and then he slowly said: "Of course... you are right... Minerva... let's do it..."

"Very good!" Professor McGonagall breathed a sigh of relief, and when she turned to look at Wade, her stern expression finally eased a little.

"Mr. Grey—"

"Yes, Professor." Wade lowered his head: "I know I shouldn't use spells on my classmates in the corridor..."

"Ahem." Professor Flitwick suddenly coughed twice. "Yeah, you were too impulsive. What if you get hurt? For your recklessness and rashness, I'm going to deduct one... uh..."

Professor Flitwick glanced furtively at his two colleagues next to him.

“—Five points!”

He hardened his heart, gritted his teeth and said, and secretly winked at Wade, indicating - don't worry, we will add it back later.

Professor McGonagall smiled imperceptibly and said, "Well, of course - at the same time, for your bravery in defending your classmates and successfully using the Disarming Charm, I will give you ten points, Mr. Gray. It can be seen that you... um... are very good at learning spells!"

……

"Ten points added?" In the umbrella house, Michael was also very surprised by the result.

"Actually, only five points were added, because Professor Flitwick deducted five points before that," Weider emphasized.

"I know...but...that's Professor McGonagall!" Michael was quite surprised: "She doesn't even favor Gryffindor people!"

"It's because Professor McGonagall is fair that she gave Ravenclaw ten extra points!" Padma didn't seem surprised. "Think about what Malfoy did... a month of detention is really too easy for him!"

"Not only that, they didn't get any benefits from Professor Snape." Theo said a piece of news that no one knew - "Someone saw the Slytherins go to Professor Snape to complain, but they were kicked out in less than two minutes."

Ryan nodded in understanding: "Even if Professor Snape is usually very strict, he won't be biased towards Slytherin without reason, right?"

Neville probably didn't agree. He felt that if they could see how Snape criticized Gryffindor and Slytherin in the Potions class together, they probably wouldn't have such a view that was far from the truth.

While everyone was chatting, the door of the umbrella house suddenly opened - there was only one person who would come at this time. Padma happily raised her hand and shouted, "Hermione!"

The brown-haired girl walked in cheerfully and said with a bright smile, "Good afternoon, guys!"

"Huh?" Padma looked at her puzzledly: "Hermione, why do I feel like you seem a little different today?"

"No, no—" Hermione pulled back her hair and said as if to cover up: "Maybe I heard that Malfoy had been taught a lesson—I was a little too happy—"

“Hmm…” Padma was skeptical—was this really the reason?
Michael saw it right away - Hermione used to have a pair of particularly prominent buck teeth, and with her messy brown hair, she looked like a beaver. But today when Hermione smiled, her teeth were straight and normal in size, and she looked much cuter than usual.

"Wow, Hermione!" Michael did not say what he found, but praised: "You are so radiant today."

Hermione smiled shyly, and in order to divert attention, she turned and shouted to the person behind her, "Come in, Harry!"

Harry Potter, who had been hesitating outside the door, finally walked in. Everyone looked at him and the boy scratched his hair uncomfortably.

This was certainly not their first meeting, but seeing classmates in the classroom was normal, but seeing the new member of their "territory" or "circle" being Harry Potter... it still gave them a weird and special feeling.

No one spoke for a while. Harry was a little embarrassed, and he greeted them awkwardly: "Um - hello everyone? I'm Harry Potter..."

Then he realized in despair - what a stupid thing to say! They had been studying together for half a year, how could they not know each other?
Hermione had been telling him to leave a good impression on everyone, but it seemed that his stupidity had ruined the first step...

They must have thought it was strange that he spoke like that? He looked so silly...

"Would you like to get acquainted again?" Wade stood up first, extended his hand and said with a smile: "Hello, Harry, I'm Wade Grey."

If you are the only one doing a stupid thing, you will be so embarrassed that you will feel like your toes are digging the ground; but if there are others doing the same thing as you, the embarrassment will not seem to be a big deal.

Harry shook Wade's hand gratefully.

Michael Conner then extended his hand: "Welcome, I'm Michael Conner - I've actually been wanting to say this for a long time, the way you caught the Golden Snitch on the court last time was really cool! I look forward to your performance next time."

"Thank you." Harry smiled shyly.

"Welcome, Harry, I'm Theo Mancini." Theo said with a smile, "Next time you'll be competing against Hufflepuff, I can only wish you enjoy the game and hope that Hufflepuff will win."

Harry really hoped that he could say something humorous in response, but as he was not good at speaking, all that suddenly came to his mind was Wood's passionate speech in the rain -

"Hufflepuff is nothing to worry about!"

No... You can't say that...

"Beat Hufflepuff! Get the House Cup!"

That's enough! He doesn't want to offend everyone...

"We must go all out! For the first time in seven years! Let Professor McGonagall look at us with new eyes!" Wood raised his arms and shouted!
Harry:…

"I will do my best!" Harry finished his words before his brain could react.

Theo smiled. “That’s how it should be.”

"Ryan Carlo." Ryan shook his hand. His smile was shallow but sincere. "Although I have never joined any other clubs, I have to say that SSC must be the best."

"Of course," Harry said quickly.

"Padma Patil." Padma smiled and shook hands. "My only request is that you don't mistake me for your sister."

"I won't be mistaken," Harry said firmly.

Unlike the Weasley twins who seemed to be copied and pasted, the differences between the Patil sisters are actually very obvious. Even though they have very similar looks, their personalities, temperaments and expressions are very different, making it impossible to tell them apart.

"Then - finally it's me." Hermione also shook hands in a serious manner and said with a smile: "Your friend - and also a partner of SSC."

"Oh - Hermione -" Harry couldn't help laughing.

At this moment, Harry had completely forgotten the thoughts he had when he walked in. During the joking welcome ceremony, he truly felt that he was being accepted by a group - this was completely different from his friendship with Ron, or the admiration and curiosity of some classmates for him because of his reputation as a "savior".

Harry couldn't tell what the difference was at the moment. He only knew that he was in a very good mood, as if he was sitting on a soft cloud.
