I'm afraid that Mount Sumeru will collapse, the Great Leiyin Temple will be destroyed, billions of Buddhists will die in one day, and the Buddhist tradition will be destroyed!
What a terrible situation that is!
But if I lose the possibility of teaching everyone to become an immortal, then wouldn’t I really have lost the meaning of my existence?

The Buddha Amitabha created the body of the god of faith simply to respond to the expectations of billions of believers and to give all living beings hope of becoming an immortal.

But in the end, they were told that everything would be in vain. What was the point of all the arrangements made by the Buddha Emperor? What should the trillions of believers do?
When he thought of this possibility, the Buddha was speechless.

He even wanted to ask Xuan Hui if he had any basis for his opinion, but he felt that this question was redundant.

After all, why should people prove themselves? Just warning you is already a great favor.

Only someone with ulterior motives would try to prove himself in such a situation, but could a Heavenly Emperor who is on the path to becoming an immortal be someone with ulterior motives?
What would the dignified Emperor of Heaven plot against him?
Mount Xumi? A Buddhist lineage?
For a Heavenly Emperor, all of this is nothing special, and he can probably get everything with just a pair of fists. Why would he weave a huge lie to deceive a believer like him, the Buddha Emperor?
In other words, perhaps there really is no hope for Buddhism anymore?

When this thought comes to mind, the Buddha's light dims, the pure feeling is gone, and instead there is a hint of filth. This is a sign that the power of mind is collapsing!

The Buddha's faith body, which was in good condition and was equivalent to the peerless fighting force of the reborn Amitabha Buddha, now showed signs of disintegration!

"Fellow Daoist, don't fall into the devil's trap!"

Xuan Hui gave him a wake-up call, and suddenly, immortal light filled the air, dispelling the filth lingering in the body of Buddha Faith. The sound of Tao penetrated the Buddha Emperor's immortal platform, causing the latter to tremble all over and suddenly wake up.

The next moment, Buddha's body of faith radiated Buddha's light, and the sound of Zen filled the entire Mount Sumeru, sweeping away the previous decadence.

An aura of supremacy over all the world rose up into the sky again, making the Buddha's faith feel immortal, as if he had been reborn.

"Thank you, Emperor of Heaven!"

And everything that happened in a flash before was actually not surprising. After all, the structure of the body of faith is special. Unlike real life, it is difficult to get rid of the influence of "thoughts". In other words, born in the beliefs of all living beings, they are the gathering of the world's troubled thoughts.

Such a being is most likely to fall into the devil's trap because of a single thought. Even if their combat power is comparable to their true body, their mental weaknesses are obvious. Once they are breached, problems will easily arise.

Just like the Buddha before us, who believes in his body and devotes his mind to the great cause of becoming an immortal through Buddhism, the entire value of his existence is pinned on the matter of flying to the immortal on Mount Sumeru.

At this moment, when he suddenly heard the truth about the immortal path, the foundation of his existence began to shake vaguely, and his own beliefs that supported the thoughts of all living beings were about to collapse.

In addition, Buddhism is idealistic and has always been hovering between the two extremes of becoming a Buddha in one thought and becoming a devil in one thought.

If Xuan Hui had not intervened, a disaster might have occurred!
This is probably one of the biggest drawbacks of believing in God.

After accepting the gift of Buddha's body of faith and after pondering for a moment, Xuan Hui spoke again.

"Although it is difficult for the Buddhist sect to become an immortal, there is still a way out. It's just that whether you can succeed or not depends entirely on you, fellow Taoist."

Hearing this, the Buddha's faith body suddenly raised his head and looked at Xuanhui with an incredible look.

In such a difficult situation, is there any way for the Emperor of Heaven to help?
He is indeed an extraordinary person on the path to becoming an immortal!
The next moment, he worshipped again and asked Xuanhui for advice.

"Please enlighten me, Emperor of Heaven." Xuan Hui waved his hand, indicating that the Buddha's faith body did not need to do so, and then said.

"The road to becoming an immortal is illusory and difficult to grasp, but the Buddha Emperor is not without a way out, right?"

“If the great Buddha Amitabha returns and becomes a Buddha immortal, then Buddhism may not be unable to achieve immortality in the future.”

"If the Buddha Emperor can go one step further, then wherever he is, he will become a Buddha country and fairyland. Why should he be obsessed with the so-called fairyland?"

Xuanhui's words made the Buddha believer's eyes light up. In his opinion, what the Emperor of Heaven said was right. Even though Buddhists believed in reincarnation and sought after lives, they did not place all their hopes on the future.

If this is true, where is the truth of Amitabha Buddha in the past? He has already entrusted everything to nothingness!
Moreover, the so-called cause and effect and reincarnation is only one aspect of Buddhism. It is mostly a stopgap measure due to the lack of wisdom of sentient beings. It aims to accumulate merits and increase wisdom so as to transcend in the next life.

If one is naturally gifted with wisdom and diligently practices the wonderful Dharma, then why wouldn't it be wrong to achieve Buddhahood in one lifetime?

Reincarnation and afterlife are, after all, just means and processes, not results!

At this moment, the Buddha's faith body thought a lot and was truly deducing the possibility of becoming a Buddha or immortal.

But after a moment, the Buddha's faith body thought of a problem, which made the light in his eyes dim again.

“You don’t know, Heavenly Emperor. I am only a body forged by faith. Even though I have the means of a Buddha Emperor, I am not a true Great Emperor.”

“No matter how hard I try, I can only stay in my current state, unable to advance an inch, and unable to see the bright road to immortality.”

"And my Buddha has already entered Nirvana. How can I sublimate in this world and achieve the status of a Buddha?"

What Buddha said about his belief in the body is the truth. The power of his belief in the divine self lies in the size of his faith, but his realm is completely limited by his true body.

There were two famous believers in the divine self in ancient history. One was the Immortal Taoist, and the other was the Buddha Emperor's belief body in front of him. The realms of both were locked at the moment they were created.

Let the faith break through and take another step forward?
This is really impossible, even the Emperor of Heaven can't do it!
However, despite saying so, the Buddha's eyes were still fixed on Xuanhui.

He knew clearly that the Golden Crow Emperor, the only supreme being in the world, could not possibly not understand the drawbacks of believing in God.

But since he still proposed this method, he must have some plan.

At this moment, the Buddha's faith body was waiting, waiting for Xuanhui to tell him his solution.

Sure enough, Xuan Hui just smiled slightly and didn't take it seriously regarding what the Buddha's faith body said.

"Naturally, it is difficult for me to become an immortal if I believe in God. Perhaps a true immortal can solve these problems, but the power of humanity is beyond my reach."

"However, for a true Buddha Emperor, there would be no such restrictions."

"If I help the Buddha Emperor return, with his tens of thousands of years of accumulation, I may be able to fight for another immortal path in this life."

"Whether you want to try it or not is entirely up to you, fellow Taoist."
