Their relationship is like that of the top leader and the second-in-command in Buddhism, or the emperor and the crown prince. Even if there are conflicts, they cannot be made public.

Regardless of the cause, Luofu is a legitimate future Buddha of Buddhism, approved by the Buddha of the East and the World Honored One.

The Golden-Winged Roc, to put it nicely, is a spoiled rich kid, not part of the Buddhist system. To put it bluntly, he's even worse than someone with connections.

Don't forget that the Peacock King Bodhisattva also has a prefix: Buddha Mother.

This Buddha Mother was recognized by the World-Honored One, Tathagata, even though he had to hold his nose.

When the Buddha attained enlightenment, he was swallowed whole by a peacock and could only emerge by breaking through its back. When he first came out of the peacock's belly, the Buddha wanted to kill the peacock.

However, after being persuaded by the Buddhas and Bodhisattvas, he finally gave up on directly killing the peacock to end the matter once and for all.

Giving the peacock a Buddha Mother Peacock King Bodhisattva was the result of a compromise by the World-Honored One Tathagata.

Although Buddha is the head of Buddhism, the true leaders of Buddhism are the two Western Saints. Even if the two Saints accepted him as the one who converted barbarians to Buddhism, he was not truly the one with absolute authority within the entire Buddhist system. Rather, he was an outsider who was appointed as the leader.

Buddhism is a rather large organization, and it is not linear.

The Buddha, at most, was only slightly stronger than the Zhou emperors of the Spring and Autumn and Warring States periods.

There are three generations of people who are nominally equal to him or slightly inferior to him, namely the three generations of the horizontal generation and the three generations of the vertical generation.

The future Maitreya Buddha in the Three Worlds is recognized by Buddhism and even the Three Realms as the successor to the Tathagata.

This is still widely recognized. In addition, there were even seven Buddhas in the past who were mentioned alongside the World-Honored One, Tathagata.

In Buddhism, even the Buddha, the supreme leader, cannot be considered the only one who is supreme.

Not long ago, the Bodhisattva Vimalamitra, who was clearly just a Bodhisattva, attended the Ullambana Festival once and then remained secluded for over three hundred years. Even the Tathagata could only turn a blind eye to this.

In this situation, the Buddha would certainly not go to great lengths for the sake of the nominal Buddha Mother Peacock.

After the Investiture of the Gods, the Three Realms were no longer what they used to be, an era where order was fragile and vulnerable, and where cultivators valued strength above all else. With the return of the Investiture of the Gods, order was stabilized and became a rule that everyone tacitly abided by.

Sages may retreat beyond the Three Realms, but their influence extends to all aspects of life.

The Peacock King Bodhisattva, whose position in Buddhism is awkward, would not receive any support even if he wanted to avenge his younger brother, the Garuda. On the contrary, he would face many obstacles.

The only person he could use was this peacock princess.

After guessing the Peacock Princess's purpose for coming.

If it represents the World-Honored One, then it's different.

The former is genuine hatred, while the latter is something that can be discussed.

"Like a true Buddha, she speaks frankly and directly." As Princess Peacock's eyes darted around, a strange and eerie light flickered in them. Clearly, she must have some special method of contemplation to have cultivated such unique eyes.

In the Three Realms, there are quite a few eyes with special effects.

The most well-known one is undoubtedly Erlang Shen, the True Lord of Guanjiangkou, whose third eye is split between Yang Jian's eyebrows. Besides Yang Jian, there is another famous three-eyed person in the Heavenly Court, namely Lord Ma.

Even looking at her eyes now, which have an unusual luster, it's clear that she has cultivated this special method to a certain level; otherwise, those eyes wouldn't have such a shimmering light.

After observing Luofu for a moment, Princess Peacock said, "This time, I am entrusted by my maternal grandmother, but not to make enemies with Ruzhen Buddha. Rather, I hope to turn hostility into friendship with Ruzhen Buddha."

"Oh?" Luo Fu looked noncommittal.

You must know that he personally seized the Yin-Yang Qi Bottle from the Golden-Winged Roc, and even extracted the Yin-Yang Qi that the Phoenix had left for the Roc, refining it into his own supernatural power.
