Captain Jack of Azeroth

Chapter 35 Sailors' Mutiny

Chapter 35 Sailors' Mutiny
"Boost!"

With Jack's order, the speed of the Black Pearl increased sharply. The barrel was flying very slowly in the air, and when it fell into the sea, it had been left far behind by the Black Pearl.

Seeing that the Black Pearl was missed, the giant gorilla once again raised the barrel and threw it at the Black Pearl.

However, the barrel that did not hit the Black Pearl seriously hindered the pirate ship that was chasing behind. The barrel was hollow, so it did not sink when it fell into the sea, but floated on the sea surface. The pirate ship accidentally hit it and its speed was seriously reduced.

The pirates staggered around, looking angrily at the giant gorilla that kept throwing barrels.

"Damn, how can there be such a huge thing?"

"Mukla!!! It's Mukla!"

"Be careful to avoid the barrels. All ships should separate and pursue. This is the enemy's conspiracy."

The pirates saw through Jack's plot at a glance. Jack wanted to use these barrels to hinder the pirate ship's pursuit.

On the Black Pearl, people also noticed that the Black Wind Pirates had slowed down, and they couldn't help but feel happy.

They looked at Mukla with curiosity. Although the island was huge, it was not normal for such a huge gorilla to appear.

"How did it get so big?"

"Yeah! Where do his barrels come from? It seems like they are endless and can never be used up."

"This is Mukla, the king of the blue-maned gorillas."

Nedro said to Jack: "This is Haguiro Island, an island that pirates dare not dock. All the beasts on the island obey Mukla's orders, and they attack any creature that dares to land on the island. Get rich... The Black Pearl can sail here, which means you are lucky."

Jack has always been confident in his luck. The lucky rabbit's foot left to him by his "father" should also be magical, just like Sam's magic compass, protecting him from danger all the way.

Mukla's brutal throwing of the barrel made Jack feel like he had broken through a dimensional wall. Like the pirates, he also wondered where Mukla's barrel came from.

Nadro gave the answer, "According to legend, a group of pirates once buried treasure on the island of Jaguero, among which was a batch of magical wine. Mukla drank the magic wine and learned magic, and could make an endless amount of wine barrels to throw out as weapons."

Jack frowned. Why did this legend feel like a forced lie?

Nedro: "Jack, we have to take this opportunity to get rid of the pursuit of the pirate ship. Even with Mukla's help, if we still can't get rid of the pirate ship, then we will all be thrown into the sea to feed the fish."

Jack looked up at the sun and said, "Don't worry, it will be dark in a few hours."

The sun was setting. Once it got dark, the Black Wind Pirates would lose their vision, and that would be the best time for the Black Pearl to escape.

After the Black Pearl sailed around the island of Jaguero and escaped from the attack range of the Black Wind Pirates, Jack ordered his men to repair the ship, especially the side sails, which had to be sewn before dark, otherwise it would affect his escape plan.

The pirates obviously saw Jack's plan. They wanted to chase at full speed, but they couldn't get around Mukla's barrel. Mukla obviously had wisdom, and it gradually came out of its anger. Seeing that the barrel could hinder the pirates' pursuit, it immediately became playful. It deliberately threw the barrel on the pirate ship's path to hinder the pirate ship's progress.

The pirates were furious with Mukla, but they didn't intend to waste their shells on him. Just as Nadro said, Mukla knew magic, and although the shells were powerful, the ultra-long-range attack gave Mukla time to prepare, and the shells couldn't cause much damage to him.

The pirates had no choice but to think of another way. They decided to split into two groups. One group of more than ten pirate ships continued to pursue, while the other group of five ships turned around and attacked from the other side.

The island of Jaguero was so large that it was dark before the pirates could surround them.

Taking advantage of the night, Jack ordered everyone to keep quiet, turn off all lights, then raised the sidesail, changed course as quickly as possible, and sailed south.

The pirates felt that the Black Pearl had suddenly disappeared, and they wanted to look for it again, but they couldn't find it. They had to disperse to look for it, but not only did they not find it, they almost caused internal conflicts. The Black Pearl was a pirate ship before, and some pirates mistook their companions' pirate ships for the Black Pearl. If they hadn't figured it out before opening fire, they might have been sunk by their own people.

At midnight, Jack changed direction and sailed the Black Pearl northwest.

Because of the sudden attack, the Black Pearl had few supplies on board, so they needed to stop on land to find food and fresh water to replenish their inventory.

On the third day, the Black Pearl arrived at the waters near the Western Wilderness and found a secluded bay to dock.

Jack took the pirates ashore to rest, and then sent human sailors to find food and fresh water. After all, the West Wilderness was the territory of the Kingdom of Stormwind. If the trolls and tauren were allowed to go out, it might attract the attention of the Kingdom of Stormwind's army, which was not what Jack wanted to see.

However, he didn't know that after the human sailors went out, they were not in a hurry to find food and fresh water.

The other human merchants who had surrendered to Nedro gathered together and said to them: "We followed Jack before because Jack could bring us benefits. But Jack is obviously not suitable to be a captain. His decision in the Savage Coast caused us to lose several lives."

Whether it was the merchant ship guards or the human pirates who acquiesced to their words, the Savage Coast was attacked, and four or five humans died alone, nearly ten trolls died, and if the goblins were included, the death toll had exceeded fifteen. And how many people were there on the entire Black Pearl? Less than fifty, one-third of the sailors died in an instant, and the strength of the Black Pearl was seriously damaged.

Plus, with the Black Wind Pirates chasing them, they all felt that continuing to follow Jack would be a dead end.

"What do you want to do?"

Human merchant: "We can rob the Black Pearl and return to Stormwind. Stormwind is being rebuilt and will definitely welcome us. King Varian may even reward us with nobility."

The pirates were tempted, but the guards were a little hesitant.

One of the guards objected, "You swore allegiance to Captain Jack..."

Before he could finish his words, he was tackled to the ground and tied up by several pirates.

The merchants exchanged glances and said, "We don't force everyone to follow us back to Stormwind City, but those who don't want to follow us please don't hinder our actions."

The guards who were still hesitating looked at each other and finally chose to side with the merchants.
