Captain Jack of Azeroth

Chapter 70 Undead Crew

Chapter 70 Undead Crew
Farondis obviously saw through Jack's dirty thoughts and explained with disdain, "Weak souls don't have the ability to perceive the outside world. What they can do is activate these two magic items to protect you when you need them."

Jack wasn't sure, "Really?"

"Of course!" Farondis said, "How about I help you remove the souls from it? Of course, after they are removed, these two magic items may lose their effects."

"No need for that!"

Jack took the magic compass back to avoid being cleansed of his soul by Farondis. These were his "father" and Sam, both of whom were his saviors. Even if they were seen, he couldn't get rid of them!
It's definitely not because the abilities of these two magic items are useful.

"By the way, why can't the compass be used after leaving the Eastern Continent?"

Farondis thought for a moment and said, "It may be related to the soul attached to it, or to the wizard who made it. The specific reason still needs you to explore."

"It's the same as if you didn't say anything!"

Jack said unhappily.

Farondis smiled and spread his hands, "I don't know the answer, what can I say to you?"

It was a rare occasion to see Jack being humiliated, and Farondis was very happy, just as if Jack was as happy as seeing a warehouse full of magic items.

The two came out of the warehouse, and the ghosts of Nar'thalas finally quieted down. They looked at each other in confusion, not knowing what their existence meant.
Living people? But they have no body, only soul.

The dead? They didn’t go to the underworld, but lingered in the human world.

When they saw Farondis, they immediately rushed over. They remembered what they had done to Farondis over the past ten thousand years, and hired countless assassins to kill Farondis.

"Your Highness!"

"Farodis..."

Farondis waved his hand, signaling everyone to be quiet.

"Brothers and sisters, I have been living in guilt for the past ten thousand years. I killed you, and this is an irrefutable fact."

"No! Your Highness, it's all Azshara's fault."

"That's right, it was Azshara who colluded with the demons..."

"Azshara betrayed us..."

When Farondis heard that the ghosts had forgiven him, he was so excited that he couldn't speak. After a long time, he walked into the crowd and talked with the ghosts. Although they had been together for ten thousand years, it was no different from being apart. When they met again after a long separation, they had a lot to talk about.

Jack found a rock and sat down, listening to their conversation. These people talked about many ancient secrets that could not be heard anywhere else.

Soon, as it got dark, a huge man suddenly appeared on the beach.

The ghosts turned their heads and immediately began to cast spells, "Azshara!"

"Kill this murderer!"

Jack quickly stopped him, "He is my friend Frog, he is a deep sea giant, not Azshara!"

Farondis quickly cast the light spell to illuminate Frog's face, and the ghosts realized that they had recognized the wrong person.

Frog was also frightened by the ghosts. He had also been to Na'thalas and knew that there were at least hundreds of mages here. He could not deal with a few Naga witches, let alone so many mages.

"I mean no offense, I'm here to see Jack."

As he said this, he placed the Black Pearl in his hand on the ground, "This is his ship."

Jack walked over speechlessly, "Frog, how can I drive the boat away like this?"

Frog said dissatisfiedly: "Who told you to run so far? Didn't you say you would wait for me on the other side of the portal?" "Also, where is my... spoils of war?"

Jack pointed at Farondis, "He took it!"

Farondis looked at Jack in confusion, and Jack gave him a well-behaved smile in response, "He's talking about the Tidestone."

"Tide Stone?" When the ghosts heard this, they all looked at Frog.

Frog was so frightened that he took a step back and said quickly: "I was deceived by Jack. I want to exchange the Tide Stone back and give it back to you."

Farondis glared at Jack. This guy exchanged so many things with him for other people's things. Then he stopped the ghosts and walked towards Frog. "Frog, right?"

Frog nodded obediently, because he knew the strength of this prince.

Farondis: "The Tidestone is the artifact of Nar'thalas, so I can't give it to you. But in order to compensate you, Nar'thalas can reach an alliance with you. If the Naga attack you again, Nar'thalas will help you."

Frog was overjoyed when he heard this. He was still worried that he would be retaliated by the Naga after returning to the Oceanus Cave. Now with Farondis's promise, the deep-sea giant can live in the Oceanus Cave with peace of mind.

"Thank you for your help, Your Highness."

Frog left happily, and Farondis began to think about how to restore the glory of Nar'thalas. The first step was to rebuild Nar'thalas, which was the easiest for the mages.

What really troubled Farondis was where to recruit magic apprentices. He couldn't teach those ghost students forever, right?

Jack climbed onto the Black Pearl, and all the sailors on board fainted.

Several ghosts sneaked onto the ship, "Jack, where is this ship going next?"

Jack was startled and turned around to see that it was an old acquaintance, the guards who asked him to assassinate Farondis.

"I will go back to the Hot Sand Port in Kalimdor first and sell all the cargo in the cabin. Then I will form a fleet and return to the East Continent to kill the Blackwater Pirates."

The guards' eyes lit up. "Use the ship's cannons?"

Jack: "Of course!"

"Can we bring you along?"

"What?" Jack looked at them in confusion.

"We want to join your ship and fight pirates with you." The guards said eagerly, "We woke up thousands of years ago, but we can't leave because of the curse. Thousands of years are too boring, so we want to follow you to see the outside world."

Jack rolled his eyes, "But the world outside is too dangerous."

The guards said nonchalantly: "It's okay, it doesn't matter even if we are killed."

They've all died and wouldn't mind dying again.

Jack pretended to be embarrassed and said, "Okay! But I have a request."

"What request?" the guards asked hurriedly.

"You can't appear in front of the sailors, otherwise they will be scared."

The guards thought about the sailors who were scared away before, and nodded decisively, "We can be invisible and prevent anyone except you from discovering our presence."

Jack then smiled and held out his hand to the others, "Welcome to the Black Pearl."
