Captain Jack of Azeroth

Chapter 71: Undead Battleship

Chapter 71: Undead Battleship
Above the sea, the Black Pearl hoisted its sails to full capacity, and a burst of singing was heard amid the sound of whistles.

"It's a good time to go out to sea. Come with me, my boy."

"The sails are hoisted. You are a good boy."

"Come ride the waves with us! Let's sail together——"

"You are a man now, you should have your own choices."

"If you have made up your mind, jump on board. Stop hesitating, young man."

"Looking far into the distance, there are dark clouds ahead."

"Johnny boy, Johnny boy, we live for the storm."

"Johnny boy, Johnny boy, I hope this is the last goodbye..."

The sailors sang and worked hard, not feeling tired at all. The cargo hold was filled with treasures from the sunken ship. As long as they returned to Hot Sands Port, they would all become rich. They seemed to see a happy life waving at them, so how could they not be motivated?

The elf guards hiding in the dark also twisted their bodies to the music. This rough music has a unique charm that even the elves with a high level of artistic appreciation are conquered.

"Oh~ Johnny boy, Johnny boy, we meet tonight..."

Heavy Punch sang the loudest, he loved this song very much.

"Jack, you are so talented that you can write such a beautiful song."

Jack was standing on the side of the ship, enjoying the song. He had wanted to sing it for a long time, but his musical talent was limited. But before leaving Azsuna, the Black Pearl was repaired in Nar'thalas. Jack found a teacher in Nar'thalas who was good at music. He composed the music based on the song he sang, and then made it into a magic music box.

Sailing on the sea was very boring, and the appearance of the magic music box made the sailors very fond of it. They sang along with the music box every day. Before going out to sea, they had already learned the song "Johnny Boy".

"Anu, could you please stop being such a spoiler? If you keep going like this, you'll have a fight with Rude."

The sailors looked at Rude and laughed. Rude yelled unhappily, "Captain, what's wrong with me?"

"Shut up! Crow's mouth!"

Just like punching Rude, Jack compared him with Rude. Wasn't that an insult to him?

The music box kept playing over and over again. When it reached the part "Looking far into the distance, the horizon is covered with dark clouds," the sea in front suddenly changed color. In the blink of an eye, dark clouds covered the entire sky.

The sailors' expressions changed as suddenly as the weather, and they all looked at Jack.

Jack jumped down from the side of the boat, "Turn the boat around, quick, everyone move!"

The sailors then became busy and began to do their respective duties, gradually turning the Black Pearl.

The clouds had turned dark, and lightning flashed between the clouds, illuminating the entire space from time to time. Jack climbed into the cockpit and took the rudder from Nedro, "You go to the gun cabin and listen to my orders."

Nadro quickly ran down the driving platform and went to the staircase.

"Wow—"

A huge sound of breaking water was heard, and the sailors subconsciously turned their heads to look at the place where the dark clouds rose. A huge skull emerged from the bottom of the sea. Everyone subconsciously kept silent, for fear of attracting its attention.

What kind of monster is this?

Everyone had doubts in their hearts. They had never heard of such a horrifying existence in the Endless Sea.

"It's the Naglfar!"

The elf's voice sounded in Jack's ears, and Jack's hair stood on end. He shouted sharply: "Hurry up and row the boat, turn the sails, and let's get out of here!" The sailors were immediately awakened and started to work in a panic.

But their efforts were in vain, as the huge skull was approaching rapidly. At this time, the sailors saw clearly that the huge skull was actually the skull of a dragon. Moreover, it was not a monster, but just the figurehead of a ship, but this figurehead was too huge.

Jack gritted his teeth. With the speed of the Naglfar, the Black Pearl would have no way of escaping.

If so, let's fight!
"Magic shells ready!"

As the cannons were ready, Jack saw the magic indicator line again. Jack turned the rudder and aimed the indicator line at the Naglfar.

"Fire!"

"Fire!"

Heavy Punch repeated Jack's order loudly, and the sailors on the deck immediately fired the cannons, and the magic shells flew towards the Nagfar with a whistling sound.

Nedro heard the cannon fire and ordered his cannons to fire. The cannons in the gun bay fired a second batch of magic shells, and the first batch of magic shells hit the Nagfar immediately.

"Boom boom boom——"

The magic shells continued to explode, but they did not stop the Naglfar from approaching. In just a few seconds, the Naglfar broke through the smoke and appeared in the eyes of the sailors unscathed.

The sailors were all dumbfounded. This was a magic cannonball that could kill deep-sea giants, but it couldn't hurt this strange ship.

Jack roared again, "Keep firing!"

The sailors had no choice but to keep attacking the Naglfar. But the more they attacked, the more scared they became. They finally saw the reason why the Naglfar was not damaged. Its entire hull was covered by a huge magic shield.

This is a powerful magic battleship.

Something even more desperate happened to the sailors. The Naglfar slowly turned around, revealing the crew on it. They were three or four times as tall as a heavy fist, and each of them was burly and had fierce eyes.

When they were still more than ten yards away, the crew members suddenly jumped over and landed on the Black Pearl. However, what no one expected was that those huge guys were not heavy at all, and the Black Pearl did not move at all, not even shaking.

"I'll give you one last chance. Surrender now - immediately!"

The sailors subconsciously reached for the magic sword, but as soon as they grasped the hilt, they let go. They had no courage to fight these giants. Although these giants were not as tall as the deep-sea giants, they were not so close to them!

Jack looked anxious, and asked the elves softly, "Can you avoid being discovered by the enemy?"

There was no answer. Jack turned around, but where was the elf beside him?
A giant with a white beard appeared out of nowhere on the deck, holding a green lantern in his hand.

"Who's the captain?"

The sailors immediately looked at Jack, and Jack twitched the corners of his mouth.

Thank you so much!
The white-bearded giant looked at Jack, who could only walk down from the cockpit and said with an apologetic smile, "You can call me Jack. How can I help you?"

"Did you give the order for the attack?" asked the white-bearded giant coldly.

Jack wanted to answer no, but if he did that, he would be sold out by these sailors who would rather die than be killed by their friends. So, he could only bite the bullet and say, "It's me!"

The white-bearded giant sneered and said, "Just admit it, kill him!"

A giant walked towards Jack, raised the huge sword in his hand, and slashed down fiercely.
