Chapter 75 Pointed Pier
The merchant ship docked at the dock, and Roger hired workers on the dock and gave the sailors a holiday. He specifically told a few sailors he knew well, "Take Planck with you, he will be our companion from now on."

The sailors readily agreed, and they had a very good impression of Jack. Jack was good at speaking, and he knew a lot of ancient legends, which could satisfy the sailors' curiosity. Jack was also very skilled in the work on the ship, and he was obviously an old sailor.

As Jack walked out of the dock, he observed the surrounding buildings. There were several soldiers at the checkpoint checking the sailors' identities. They would let those they knew pass without hesitation. They would only stop and question those they didn't know.

Jack was also stopped and gave a fake name, Planck.

The merchant sailors also helped to speak up, and soon the guard felt that there was no problem. Just as he finished registering and was about to let him go, a voice suddenly came from the side, "Wait a minute!"

Jack turned around and was speechless. What a narrow road this is. How did this guy end up in Kul Tiras?
"Lord Barclay."

The guard greeted respectfully.

The pot-bellied Baron Barclay was the human merchant who rebelled against Jack in Dagger Ridge. After returning to Stormwind, he quickly connected with the nobles, converted the first Black Pearl into a gunboat, and became a member of the Stormwind Navy. He fought against the Blackwater Pirates many times, performing better than other warships, and was awarded the title of Baron.

Baron Barkley looked at Jack with a half-smile, took the registration form from the guard and glanced at it.

"Planck?"

The merchant sailor smiled and nodded, "Yes, Planck."

Baron Barclay pushed the merchant sailor aside with the registration form and looked directly at Jack. "That name is not as catchy as Jack, am I right? Captain Jack Sparrow?"

The merchant sailor was stunned. He quickly realized that Baron Barclay knew Planck, and immediately explained, "Baron, we just rescued him at sea and don't know his identity."

Baron Barclay waved his hand, signaling the merchant sailors to leave. This was not Stormwind City, and he was not a noble from Kul Tiras, so it was not easy to implicate others. However, his target was Jack, and as long as Jack did not run away, he would not bother to implicate others.

Jack spread his hands, "I'm really unlucky to meet you here."

"I'm lucky. If I hadn't been on a diplomatic mission to Kul Tiras, how would I have met you?"

Baron Barclay said proudly that he was on a business mission this time and needed to sign contracts with all the ports controlled by the nobles. Screaming Wharf was under the control of the Norvington family. He parked the boat at the wharf and rode to Norvington Manor. When he came back from signing the contract, he found Jack.

This made him overjoyed. He had completed the mission and discovered the enemy at the same time. It was truly a double blessing.

He waved at the guards, "Capture him and put him in the most conspicuous cell. Search his body carefully. This pirate captain can pick locks. Don't let him bring any tools in."

The guards drew their weapons and pointed them at Jack.

Jack raised his hands and surrendered, willing to cooperate as long as they didn't take off his shirt.

The guards tied Jack's hands and began to search him. They took off Jack's magic bag and brought it to Baron Barkley. Baron Barkley's eyes lit up, "Magic bag, Jack, it seems you are doing well!"

When he opened the magic package, his eyes lit up even more. The package was filled with gold, silver and jewelry, worth no less than a thousand gold coins.

"It seems that you have indeed made a fortune, but unfortunately, this money will become the navy's military expenses to deal with your fellow pirates."

The guards continued to search him, reaching for the lantern at Jack's waist.

Jack warned, "If I were you, I wouldn't touch it."

The guard scoffed. It's just a broken lamp. What's the big deal?
The lantern was taken down, and the green light on it flickered for a moment, then disappeared without a trace in an instant.

Everyone blinked their eyes, feeling something flash by. They looked around but found nothing.

It seems that my eyes are blurry.

Jack looked at the lantern with a strange expression. The green light in the lantern had disappeared. Was this how the Naglfar was located? If he didn't give the lantern to someone else, would he be unable to trigger the mechanism?
Then I thought again, this mechanism wouldn't be that simple, it should be able to be triggered automatically.

The guard didn't notice anything unusual and threw the lantern to the ground.

After the body search, the guard took Jack to the side of the bridge. There were cells built there to hold prisoners. Over the years, pirates have always wanted to sneak into Kul Tiras to obtain intelligence. Angle Point Wharf is the western gateway of Kul Tiras and the focus of pirate infiltration.

But unfortunately, no pirate has succeeded in these years. The guards also regarded Jack as such a pirate. According to Baron Barclay's request, Jack was imprisoned in the prison on the bridge. Everything in the prison can be seen from the dock. If Jack dared to move, he would be discovered.

Jack leaned on the railing and looked at the water flowing in the channel. A ship left the dock, passed under the bridge and headed east.

If the bridge wasn't so high, it would look a bit like the Bridge of Sighs. If the merchant ship became a cruise ship, it might also create a legend like the "Kiss of the Bridge of Sighs".

He didn't see the "Kiss of the Bridge of Sighs", but he did see the first Black Pearl passing under the bridge. Baron Barclay stood on the bridge, proudly holding up the magic package, "Jack, goodbye!"

Jack laughed. This guy was really lucky. If he stayed a few more days, he might not be able to leave here.

The Naglfar should be very fast, and it is unknown how long it will take to arrive. Jack wanted to escape, but there were two guards standing outside the cell, watching him closely. He was sure he could kill the two guards, but if he did so, he would definitely become a mortal enemy with Kul Tiras.

The Naglfar is chasing him at sea, and the Kul Tiras is searching him on land. No matter how capable he is, he cannot escape this trap.

It seems that we can only wait for the arrival of the Naglfar.

As night fell, a cold wind blew into the cell. Jack sat up suddenly and looked through the bars toward the sea to the west. Dark clouds were gathering rapidly, and soon there were lightning and thunder.

Jack turned to look at the guards, "You'd better let me out, or the whole Pointe Wharf will be in danger."
