Chapter 76 Transfer of Hatred
The guards didn't believe him at all. They pointed their swords at Jack and said, "Back off!"

Jack spread his hands, "If you have this attitude, I can't save you."

The guards ignored Jack. What nonsense was a captured pirate talking about?
Jack took two steps back and gracefully gestured to the two men to have a look. The two guards followed the direction Jack pointed and were immediately stunned.

Jack opened all the prison doors and walked out of the prison with more than a dozen pirates. Jack couldn't help laughing as he watched the Naglfar sail westward.

He kept Larkin just for this moment. Before there was any way to resolve the deal, he needed a target to divert Whitebeard's attention so that he would have enough time to think or escape.

Ten days later, the clipper hit the reefs around the coast of the Kingdom of Gilneas. Jack left the pirates behind, went ashore alone, and disappeared from the pirates' sight.
