Captain Jack of Azeroth
Chapter 76 Transfer of Hatred
Chapter 76 Transfer of Hatred
The guards didn't believe him at all. They pointed their swords at Jack and said, "Back off!"
Jack spread his hands, "If you have this attitude, I can't save you."
The guards ignored Jack. What nonsense was a captured pirate talking about?
Jack took two steps back and gracefully gestured to the two men to have a look. The two guards followed the direction Jack pointed and were immediately stunned.
A huge skull-shaped dragon head rose from the sea. A huge warship broke out of the water and quickly approached the south bank of the Pointed Pier.
“Oh my god!!!”
The guard exclaimed, completely stunned!
Jack: "Why don't you go inform your boss?"
The two guards came to their senses and ran to the prison gate as fast as they could, warning everyone: "Enemy attack--"
Jack shook his head, pulled out the wire from his hair, and easily opened the lock on the cell door. The pirates in other cells rushed to the door, "Hey, let us out, we can help you escape from here."
"You won't want to leave here with me," Jack warned kindly.
But would the pirates believe it?
"Man, we are all pirates, you can't just stand by and watch someone die."
"Yes, we know your name, Jack. If you don't save us, we will ruin your reputation among pirates."
Jack stopped and looked at them playfully, "Are you sure you want to leave with me?"
The pirates nodded quickly, "Of course!"
"OK then!"
Jack said regretfully, "Don't regret it."
"No regrets!"
The pirates quickly said that they felt Jack was insane, and why would he regret it if he could escape from the cell?
Jack opened all the prison doors and walked out of the prison with more than a dozen pirates. At this time, the south bank of the Point Pier was in chaos, and the tall giant was madly slaughtering everyone he saw. During the fight, an oil lamp accidentally fell off and ignited part of the building.
In the dark night, the flames that suddenly ignited were particularly dazzling. In the light of the fire, the giants seemed to become even more ferocious.
Jack finally reminded the pirates, "If you go back to the cell first, you still have time."
The pirates swallowed their saliva, and they finally understood why Jack didn't want to let them out. They ran back in fear, wanting to get away from this Shura field.
Jack wanted to take the opportunity to leave, but he suddenly saw Roger. Roger was being chased by a giant. If he didn't take care of him, he might be killed at any time. After hesitating for a while, Jack resolutely walked towards the south bank.
"Hey! I'm here!"
The white-bearded giant suddenly turned his head, and all the giants stopped chasing and rushed to Jack, surrounding him and the pirates.
The pirates turned pale and retreated to Jack's side, but this did not make them feel safe.
The white-bearded giant walked over slowly and looked down at Jack, "Jack, are you trying to escape from our deal?"
Jack spread his hands, "You misunderstood me, I'm just in trouble."
"In trouble?" The white-bearded giant looked at the pirates around Jack, "These pirates are not your men." "Of course!" Jack said, "I just rescued them from prison. As for my former men, they abandoned me."
The white-bearded giant stared at Jack, "Don't try to fool me!"
Jack looked at him innocently, "Sir, how dare I deceive you?"
"Not long after we parted, my men betrayed me. There was a goblin named Larkin who coveted my position as captain. He bewitched my men and made them think that I had provoked you, so I should bear the consequences myself. I had no choice but to go into exile at sea in order to survive. I drifted on the sea for more than a month before I was rescued by a merchant ship."
Whitebeard fell into deep thought, the lantern in his hand gradually lit up, and the scene of Jack being expelled flashed in the green light.
Jack's heart sank; there was indeed something wrong with the lantern.
Fortunately, Whitebeard did not check the footage of Jack during his exile, otherwise he would never easily believe Jack's words.
"That goblin's name is Larkin, right?"
"That's right!" Jack said, "He used to be a member of the Blackwater Pirates. He is very cunning. I really regret not killing him directly."
Soon, Whitebeard found Lakin's appearance from the image.
"We will deal with Larkin, but Jack, you must complete our deal, otherwise I will never let you go."
"Of course!" Jack assured quickly, "Our deal is still valid. However, you have seen my current situation. Apart from the pirates I just rescued, I don't have any helpers around me, and I don't even have a ship to go out to sea. Even if there is a ship to go out to sea, I can't sail it away by myself."
Whitebeard looked at the pirates and said, "I will give you a ship, and these pirates will help you sail the ship to your destination. If they have any intentions before sending you to the East Continent, I will find them myself."
As he spoke, Whitebeard waved to the giant beside him. The giant walked to the dock and selected a complete speedboat.
Under the escort of the giants, the pirates quickly ran onto the ship, and kept assuring the giants, "Don't worry, we will definitely take Jack to his destination."
When Jack passed by Roger, he saw Roger's fearful eyes. He knew that he might not get a good reputation no matter what he did in the future.
"Sir, please forgive these ignorant people. They are just poor frightened creatures."
Whitebeard glanced at these already cowardly humans and said disdainfully: "Their souls are not worth harvesting for me."
He remade a small lantern and handed it to Jack, "Hold it well. If anything happens to it again, I will take your soul directly."
Jack took the lantern respectfully and stepped onto the speedboat, "Okay, guys, let's get going immediately!"
The pirates did not dare to neglect, even if there was a storm on the sea, they set sail at the fastest speed. Compared with the bad weather, those huge butchers were more terrifying.
They not only kill people, they also harvest souls.
The clipper sailed out of the strait, and the Naglfar also left the Pointed Pier. Whitebeard said to all the giants with a gloomy face: "Let's go to Hot Sand Port and settle accounts with Lakin. A small goblin dared to destroy Hela's plan, he is simply seeking death!"
Jack couldn't help laughing as he watched the Naglfar sail westward.
He kept Larkin just for this moment. Before there was any way to resolve the deal, he needed a target to divert Whitebeard's attention so that he would have enough time to think or escape.
Ten days later, the clipper hit the reefs around the coast of the Kingdom of Gilneas. Jack left the pirates behind, went ashore alone, and disappeared from the pirates' sight.
