But in the field of logic chips, TSMC and Zhiyun Microelectronics are each other's biggest competitors!

Both parties have officially started mass production of the 10-nanometer process this year.

In addition to Intel, there is another major manufacturer in the field of logic chips, that is Four Star... Their 10-nanometer process is not yet ready. The technical verification was only completed this year. If they want to mass-produce it, it will probably be next year. It is rumored that Qualcomm, AMD and other manufacturers have already negotiated with Four Star and want to obtain the production capacity of Four Star's 10-nanometer process.

Currently, the competition among logic chip manufacturers in the world is among Zhiyun Microelectronics, TSMC, Intel, and Sixin. As for the others, they have already fallen behind and have not even mastered the 14-nanometer process.

Among the above four companies, Intel seems to be unable to cope with the situation. Their technological advancement in the field of DUV immersion lithography machines is very slow. Not to mention the seven-nanometer process, even the ten-nanometer process is difficult... They are already counting on the use of EUV lithography machines to solve the problem.

If the technology in the field of DUV immersion lithography is not good enough, then just use EUV lithography to make a powerful turn.
