Chapter 406: Weird Neville

Chapter 406: Weird Neville
Dementors are humanoid creatures, about three meters tall, wearing black hooded cloaks, with gray bodies that look like rotting corpses.

Dementors can slide along the ground, but cannot pass through solid obstacles.

When they inhale, they make a gurgling sound in their throats, as if they are inhaling more than just the surrounding air.

The Dementor's hands were gray and shimmering eerily, and seemed to be covered in slime and spots.

They also seem to radiate a chill.

The Dementor's face had empty eye sockets covered with a thin, gray, scabby skin.

Their mouth is a shapeless hole that they use to suck out the soul of their victims, also known as the Dementor's Kiss.

This leaves the victim in a state worse than death: the Dementor removes his hood and sucks out the victim's soul, leaving the person a hollow shell, alive but merely the walking dead.

According to most wizards, this terrifying creature can only be expelled by the Patronus Charm.

But now, a shocking scene happened.

From an inconspicuous-looking fortress on a small island in the middle of the North Sea, a torrent of Dementors gushed out. No one could see that so many Dementors could be crammed into such a small house.

Moreover, they were actually expelled and controlled by spells other than the Patronus Charm!
Each Dementor was flashing with green light caused by an unknown spell. Under the control of the spell, this green torrent began to circle around the island. After an unknown amount of time, a transparent glass cover with a hint of green covered the entire island.

At the same time, faint sounds began to grow louder.

There were waves of painful whimpers, and along with the sounds, thick black smoke came out of the fortress, forming a thick, creepy cloud in the sky.

After the dark clouds appeared, sharp arrows transformed from bones shot out from the fortress.

The white city walls rise from the rugged rocks.

The green light shield, the screaming dark clouds, and the white city walls are undoubtedly three different elements that are incompatible in the eyes of ordinary wizards.

But in Ryan's eyes in the waves not far away, the invisible magic outlined them as one. Deep in the fortress, Antonin Dolohov's version of Voldemort had been reduced to ashes.

Only a pale skeleton was left.

A heartbeat sound that only a wizard of Ryan's level could hear began to appear.

Voldemort has begun his resurrection ritual.

However, unlike what Voldemort thought, no one would stop his resurrection this time.

Because, only when he is resurrected can he be truly killed - by Riddle.

Grindelwald, the only person who could possibly take action, had already been told the reason by Dumbledore.

Ryan looked at the island gradually disappearing in the waves, shook his head, and disappeared into the air.

Thousands of miles away in Hogwarts, Dumbledore excitedly pounded his hands when he realized that the address of Azkaban in his memory had become blurred or even disappeared.

"Did you hear? Azkaban is gone!"

"It is said that people from the Ministry of Magic went to the North Sea, but they couldn't find the island after searching everywhere."

"But how could that be? Such a big island, and those Dementors."

On the way to the Charms class, Harry overheard the conversation of several senior students.

"Harry, what do you think Flint will do?"

"Tomorrow is Saturday - the Slytherin vs. Ravenclaw match," Ron said, playing with his wand.

This was all because the handle of the wand was wrapped with the dragon skin tape that Ron had bought at a high price.

It was practical and beautiful. If he hadn't made a lot of money from smoke bottles recently, he wouldn't have been willing to use it. "Didn't you hear me?"

"Something happened in Azkaban!"

"It must be Voldemort!" said Harry eagerly.

"So are we going to skip class now?" Ron also became anxious.

He knows what this means.

A few months ago, Harry had dreamed that Voldemort was going to Azkaban to rescue his men.

"No, we'll go ask Hagrid after class." Harry looked at Neville and the others not far away and lowered his voice.

Harry finally felt the inconvenience, because the Ravenclaws of their year always went to and from get out of class together.

".Open your Standard Book of Spells, Level 2. Today you are going to learn the Tickling Charm, and its spell is Rictusempra. The Tickling Charm is usually used as a means of diverting the opponent's attention in a duel. Harry, you answer why it is rated as one of the 'Top Ten Magical Spells that can defeat the opponent without much trouble.'" The Charms class began, and Professor Flitwick stood on the table and pointed at Harry's name, who was distracted at the moment.

"In fact, we can tell from its spell." "The spell of the tickle spell, Rictusem pra, comes from Latin, where rictus means to open your mouth wide, and semper means always. Therefore, the literal meaning of this spell is to always smile."

"In a duel, this spell can prevent the opponent from reciting spells temporarily. Also, even if the opponent can cast silent spells, this spell will affect his concentration." Even though he was suddenly called upon, Harry, who had already prepared for the duel, still answered very well.

"One point for Ravenclaw!"

"Do you know why I only gave you one extra point? Harry, don't be distracted in class." Professor Flitwick rolled his eyes.

When Harry nodded and sat down, Neville raised his hand.

"Longbottom, what do you want to say?" Professor Flitwick was puzzled.

"I understand why Harry's mind wandered."

"It's not his fault."

"Professor, is Azkaban disappeared? Is this true?" Neville asked in an almost pleading tone.

He clenched his fists, as if he was ready to punch an enemy that didn't exist here at any moment.

"Neville." Professor Flitwick was surprisingly not angry.

Instead, he looked at Neville with a loving gaze.

"This is true, although the Daily Prophet did not report it and the Ministry of Magic did not announce it to the public."

"This is really important to some of you (he glanced at Neville) - much more important than this lesson of mine."

"But I hope you won't let this stop you from slacking off and not paying attention to your lessons."

"Maybe you will use the spells we learned in class today someday," Professor Flitwick advised earnestly.

After Neville answered in the affirmative, he sat down and his eyes suddenly turned red.

He was distracted for the rest of the class.

But Professor Flitwick said nothing.

"What's wrong with Neville?" Harry looked at his roommate worriedly.

This even made him temporarily put aside his attention on Voldemort.

"I don't know." Ron shook his head.

As for Neville, Ron didn't really know him very well, even though they had a day alone together shortly after they entered Hogwarts.
