Chapter 438 Exam
At Hogwarts, there was no market for magical props like air conditioners and fans from the beginning.

Because usually in June, when summer comes, Hogwarts will be temporarily closed - because of the summer vacation.

Ryan finally understood why he never saw any props for cooling down in the Harry Potter books when he read them in his previous life.

However, Ryan was the only one who had time to think about anything else.

Because today is June 6st, the day of the exam.

Harry felt like he was dreaming.

I was still thinking about what courses to choose yesterday, and today I have the exam.

The only thing that made Harry feel relieved was that although summer had arrived, the weather was not very hot recently, so they did not have to take exams in a steaming room like last school year.

The first exam was Charms. After the written test in the room, there was the inevitable test of practical skills.

Professor Flitwick asked them to go into the classroom one by one and use the Universal Counteracting Charm to silence a noisy candy.

This wasn't hard for Harry.

In the afternoon, their second exam was Transfiguration, and the practical part was Professor McGonagall watching them turn a rabbit into slippers.

The more realistic the slippers are, the higher the score will be, otherwise the score will be deducted.

The criteria for judging realism are based on the reaction after stimulation by appearance, touch and smell.

The pair of slippers that Ron had transformed into was irritated by the pepper and made him sneeze.

The third subject was Potions, which was held early in the morning of the second day, and the exam was about preparing a swelling potion.

Everyone was yawning, but fortunately Snape's presence cheered everyone up.

"What should I do? I always feel like I forgot something?" After the Potions exam, in the Great Hall, at lunch time, Ron suddenly stood up.

He looked at Harry. "Harry, would you mind repeating the steps? I—"

"1. Add 2 spoons of dried nettle to the mortar and 3 portions of puffer fish eyes to the mortar and grind into medium-fine powder."

"2. Add 2 parts of the mixture powder to the crucible, heat at the middle temperature for 20 seconds, wave the wand, and simmer for 60 minutes."

"3. Add 1 portion of bat spleen to the crucible, stir counterclockwise 4 times, heat on low heat for 30 seconds, and wave the wand to complete the potion."

"Very simple."

"The final product is light blue and transparent." Harry said casually, receiving admiring glances from those around him who were wondering about the answer.

"It's over, I put an extra portion of bat spleen." Ron lay on the table, even the steak in front of him didn't smell good.

"If you put too much bat spleen swelling, your swelling potion will cause extra irritation to the skin."

"You should know that the effect of the swelling potion is that the part of the body that comes into contact with the potion will swell."

"Many married witches use it diluted."

"It would be a nightmare if your swelling potion was used." Harry couldn't help but wince as he imagined the scene.

The precocious Ron couldn't help but feel phantom pain.

With such a strange feeling, the fourth exam came in the afternoon - Herbal Medicine Class.

The exam for the Herbal Medicine class is about dealing with poisonous tentacles.

"What does the poison tentacles look like?"

"Tentacles covered in red spikes, with a mouth at the tip, and snake-like fangs growing out of them in adults."

"Habit?"

"The vines are mobile and will attempt to grab nearby living prey. They paralyze their prey with venom secreted from the twigs and sometimes with the spikes."

"When dealing with large animals, they will extend their fangs, which contain deadly venom." Harry wrote as he thought during the written test.

As for the practical classes that followed, Harry knew immediately that they would not have to check their answers after the Herbology exam.

All they had to do was to change the pots of the poisonous tentacles that had not yet grown fangs. After the exam, even Neville, who was the best at Herbology, was covered in dirt and scratches.

As for the neat and tidy Ryan, he is a pervert and cannot be regarded as an ordinary wizard.

What was even more outrageous in Harry's opinion was that, because of the venom from the poisonous tentacles, most of them felt numb all over and felt no pain when they were punched.

After being punched by Harry, Ron, who was used as a test, wanted to curse.

No wonder the giants like to use the juice of poisonous tentacles to make wine.

They already like beating each other, and now that they can no longer feel pain, they can do it even more fiercely.

After intense review, the third day arrived.

Today is the last day of examinations for the second grade students.

After the exam, they can play for a week and four days.

The fifth exam was Defense Against the Dark Arts, and the exam was held in an empty room next to the Defense Against the Dark Arts classroom.

As soon as he entered the door, Harry was stunned.

A traceless stretching spell was cast on the entire room, and the space inside was much larger than it looked from the outside.

The classroom is divided into long passages using white wooden boards.

At the other end of the passage, there was a metal prosthetic hand, on which was a metal wand - a gun.

"You must have noticed that I took the practical test first in this course."

"Today's exam will involve using what you learned in the Defense Against the Dark Arts class to defend against bullets."

"Don't worry, these metal wands are toys and won't be as destructive as the real ones."

"You put on this robe, it will record how many times you've been hit."

"Okay, the exam begins." Riddle said at the podium at the back of the corridor.

Ten minutes later, almost everyone came out of the passage wearing spotted robes.

"This is too difficult. If I wasn't blocked by this wooden board, I could at least dodge it." Harry, who already had excellent insight and had been transformed by magic, sighed.

However, a white spot on his examination robe showed that his definition of "difficult" was clearly flawed.

This can also be seen from Ron's depressed face and robes covered with white spots.

The last exam was History of Magic, which followed the written exam in Defense Against the Dark Arts.

How tight is it?
It was so tight that in the classroom, Harry and his friends received two test papers at once.

Professor Riddle, the invigilator, even allowed us to write History of Magic first.

Because after the exam, both test papers will be checked together.

So, Harry and the others took the new quills that the teacher gave them for exams and started answering the questions.

Harry did History of Magic first.

After the exciting Defense Against the Dark Arts practical test, Harry wanted to answer some simple questions to change his mind.

"A medieval European wizarding council?"

"The host is the learned Willy, and the purpose is to standardize the use of flying broomsticks."

"The International Wizarding Conference of 1289 was about how to simply and effectively occupy a country and gradually make it public." In just 20 minutes, Harry's answers filled the test paper of the History of Magic exam.

And just like that, the exam was over.

For Harry, the only thing now was the Quidditch final on Saturday.

In that competition, he will compete against Dudley again.
