Meet the Gentleman

Chapter 691: Attaining Nirvana Without Leaving the Dharma

Chapter 691: Attaining Nirvana Without Leaving the Dharma
In the crimson monastery.

Yan Shan trembled all over after hearing Jiuge's words, unable to accept the fact that his senior brother had died. His face gradually turned pale, and he held the edge of the stone table tightly with both hands and slowly sat down, tears streaming down his face.

He didn't understand.

Brother, why did you suddenly...

After a long while, he still couldn't accept the fact that his senior brother had died.

Senior brother was such an amazing talent and such a charming man, how could he suddenly die?
Could it be that God is jealous of Yingcai?
Yan Shan's chest heaved violently, as if something was blocking his chest, almost making it difficult for him to breathe.

His hands began to shake violently and uncontrollably.

Why is it happening like that?

"Mr. San, did you really become a Buddha?" Jiuge asked while crying, her eyes were full of tears and she looked very sad. "If you become a Buddha, does that mean you don't have to die?"

Qing Mang looked at Yan Shan with anticipation.

It always feels that the Lord will not die, the Lord is not dead yet...

At this moment, Yan Shan was suddenly stunned. Why did the entire Kutuo Temple believe that his senior brother had become a Buddha?
It seems that it is not just the entire Kuta Temple, but the entire Kuta Heaven.

He remembered what Elder Kunlun said, that his senior brother had experienced all kinds of sufferings of the world's living beings and returned to save the suffering and to help all living beings escape from the sea of suffering...

But my senior brother is obviously dead, so how can he come back to power?

How to become a Buddha?
He only felt endless suffering from his senior brother, and did not sense any breath of Buddha.

Is there something that we cannot know or understand?
Yan Shan trembled as he thought.

After all, he is not a Buddhist and does not understand anything about becoming a Buddha.

If only a few people thought that the senior brother had become a Buddha, it might be a mistake, but the entire Kuta Heaven believed that the senior brother had become a Buddha.

There was no way they were mistaken.

Could those Bodhisattva-level monks in Kutuo Temple have made a mistake?

The realm of Kutuo Tianqi Bodhisattva is equivalent to the realm of King Wen in the holy way, that is, a great sage, how could it be wrong?
This shouldn't be possible.

Could it be that senior brother really became a Buddha and did not really die?
At this moment, Yan Shan suddenly felt a glimmer of hope, hoping from the bottom of his heart that his senior brother had become a Buddha, rather than actually dying. Although he could not sense any breath of life from his senior brother, he also did not sense any death.

How can there be no death energy when a person dies?

Even if a great sage dies, there will be a faint smell of death around him, but it is covered up by the strong literary atmosphere.

"Brother may have truly become a Buddha..."

Yan Shan said with a trembling voice. Even though he felt it was ridiculous in his heart, he could only hypnotize himself in this way at the moment.

"Mr. San didn't lie to Jiuge?"

Jiuge looked at Yan Shan with tears in her eyes, and finally felt a little comforted.

"How could I lie to you?" Yan Shan shook his head and said, "Although there is no life in Senior Brother, there is no death energy at all, right?

Jiuge thought about it and nodded.

It seems that there is indeed no trace of death in the gentleman.

"A person will have some death energy within a few days after death, even a great sage will have this." Yan Shan said, "Did you see Brother's spirit leave his body after he died?"

Jiuge and Qingmang both shook their heads, indicating that they had not seen the spirit of the Master (Lord).

"After a person dies, his spirit and soul will definitely leave the body. Although not everyone's spirit and soul can turn into ghosts after death. However, almost all scholars in the scholar realm can turn into ghosts after death. And who is senior brother? It is impossible for him to not have a spirit and soul. Since none of you saw it, it means that senior brother's spirit and soul have not left the body and are still inside the body..."

As Yan Shan was talking, he suddenly froze in his tracks.

He originally just wanted to comfort Jiuge and Qingmang, and comfort himself at the same time.

But now, I feel that my senior brother’s death is very strange. It seems that he was not really dead. Maybe he was just in a state of suspended animation.

"Jiuge, Qingmang, did you really not see Brother's soul? This is very important. If you saw it, you saw it. If you didn't see it, you didn't see it. There must not be any falsehood."

Yan Shan asked seriously, with a hint of excitement in his heart.

If I really didn’t see it, doesn’t it mean that my senior brother’s soul is still in his body and he is not really dead?
"No."

Jiuge and Qingmang both shook their heads.

"Mr. San, Jiuge has been guarding beside you, but has not seen your soul. If your soul leaves your body, Jiuge will definitely be able to see it, but in the past few days, Jiuge has not seen your soul..."

Jiuge thought about it and said with certainty, and some hope finally appeared in his eyes.

"Well, is there a possibility? I mean if." Qing Mang suddenly started to stutter, as if he was afraid to speak. "I, I mean if, if, if."

"Qing Mang, you say."

Yan Shan said.

"Well, then I said, I was just saying what if, is it possible that your Majesty's soul has been scattered and directly dissipated into the world?"

Qing Mang plucked up his courage and said it out loud with gritted teeth.

"This is impossible!"

Jiuge rushed at Qing Mang with a face full of anger, frightening Qing Mang so much that he took several steps back. He angrily said, "Sir, your spirit is still there. It is absolutely impossible for your spirit to fly away, nor can it disappear into the world. Sir, you are the greatest virtual saint in history, the greatest gentleman in the world, how could your spirit fly away?"

“There is no best, there is no best.”

Qing Mang said repeatedly, feeling relieved.

What it fears most is that the king's soul has disappeared silently from heaven and earth.

"Jiuge, you are the god of the Buried Mountain. If there is a soul dissipating in the world, you should be able to feel it vaguely. Have you felt it?"

Yan Shan asked with a changed expression, looking at Jiuge expectantly.

"no!"

Jiuge said with certainty.

“If it is confirmed that the spirit and soul have not left the body, and the spirit and soul have not been scattered, it is very likely that Senior Brother is in a strange state of suspended animation.”

After Yan Shan breathed a sigh of relief, he became more and more excited.

He always had a strange feeling that his senior brother had never died and could never die.

I always feel that my brother is always by my side, there...

"Mr. San, is this true?"

Jiuge also became a little excited.

"Who is senior brother? How could he die so easily? It is very likely as the monks of Kutuo Temple said, senior brother has experienced all kinds of suffering in the world and cannot wake up for a while..." Yan Shan said as he thought, and then asked Jiuge and Qingmang to stay in the monastery and not walk around, and he walked quickly towards the temple in the center.

But how could Jiuge and Qingmang be willing to stay?

The god and the bull chased Yan Shan.

At this time, Feng Qingyan was placed in a hall in the central temple by the monks of Kutuo Temple. He had been straightened and was sitting cross-legged on a golden lotus, as if he was meditating with a smile, and there was still no trace of death.

But there was no sign of life.

Under the lotus pedestal in the hall, there were old monks sitting cross-legged, all of them were at the Bodhisattva level of Kutuo Temple. With pious faces, they bowed down to Feng Qingyan on the lotus pedestal...

Outside the hall, monks of the Arhat realm, Vajra realm, etc. are sitting cross-legged.

Soon after, Yan Shan came to the outside of the hall quickly, and without caring about anything else, he rushed into the solemn hall. However, when he was about to step into the hall, he was stopped by the Buddha's light emerging from the hall.

This made him furious, and he shouted, "This is my senior brother, who dares to stop him?"

At this moment, the old monks in the hall looked back at Yan Shan in surprise. They did not expect that the Buddhist disciple designated by the abbot was actually the junior brother of Great Compassion Buddha.

This is really unexpected.

At this time, they vaguely understood why the abbot would designate a Zhou person as a Buddhist disciple. It turned out that there was such a relationship between them.

As long as you are a junior disciple of Great Compassion Buddha, you are qualified to be a son of Buddha in Uttarakuru Heaven.

How bad can the disciples of the Great Compassion Buddha be? One day, they will return as Buddhas after going through all kinds of sufferings just like the Great Compassion Buddha...

This made them admire the abbot's vision.

Did the abbot already know that Yan Shan was the junior disciple of the Great Compassion Buddha? Otherwise, why would he choose Yan Shan, who had no Buddhist knowledge at all, to become a Buddhist disciple of Kutuo Temple?

The Buddhist disciples of Kuta Temple are equivalent to the Buddhist disciples of Kuta Heaven.

He has the highest status in Kuda Heaven.

Although the status of a Buddhist disciple is not as high as that of the abbot, in terms of status, the abbot's status is not as noble as that of a Buddhist disciple.

One is a Buddhist, the other is a monk.

Of course, the Buddha's disciples are noble.

This is just like Feng Qingyan in the world. After all, Xu Sheng is a "holy position". Even the leader Wang Chen has to respectfully call Feng Qingyan Feng Sheng when he sees him.

So after Yan Shan spoke angrily, the old monk in the hall did not dare to stop him. But Yan Shan still could not go in, and was still blocked by the Buddha's light in the hall, which made him even angrier.

This scene surprised the old monks in the hall, and they all looked at the monk sitting at the head.

The leading monk was an old man with a sad face, and he was the abbot of Kutuo Temple.

His Buddhist name is Kuta.

Although the old monks in the main hall did not dare to stop Yan Shan, Master Kutuo dared to do so because he was the abbot of Kutuo Temple.

He has the responsibility to teach and is also the teacher of Buddhist disciples.

"For all Buddhist disciples, whether at home or in the monastery, the first important thing to do when entering Buddhism is to receive the precepts." Abbot Kutuo said softly at this moment, without turning back to look at Yan Shan, his eyes were always on Feng Qingyan on the lotus platform, "The precepts are of great use and can produce all kinds of extraordinary merits, just like today. It is not that I blocked the Buddhist disciples from entering the hall, but that the Buddhist disciples themselves blocked themselves. As long as the Buddhist disciples do not receive the precepts, they will not be able to enter the hall. I hope that the Buddhist disciples will receive the precepts as soon as possible..."

"I, Yan Shan, am a disciple of the Great Zhou Saint Dao of the East, not a disciple of Buddha. Abbot, please don't make a mistake."

Yan Shan said in a cold voice, how could he become a Buddhist if he didn't even admit that he was a Buddhist?

At this moment, he did not force his way in, after all, he could not force his way in, so he pointed to Feng Qingyan on the lotus platform and said, "The person on the lotus platform is Yan Shan's senior brother. Today, I, Yan Shan, would like to ask why my senior brother is like this? My senior brother is a saintly saint who has never practiced Buddhism. How can he become a Buddha? Aren't you afraid of recognizing the wrong person and making a fool of yourself?"

"We are disciples of the Buddha, how could we recognize the wrong Buddha? Buddhists, please don't joke around."

An old monk said unhappily.

"Buddhist disciples, abandoning the precepts and seeking the holy path is like wanting to fly without wings or wanting to cross without a boat." Abbot Ku Tuo sighed, then turned to look at Yan Shan and said, "Buddhist disciples, please remember that precepts are the root of the supreme Bodhi."

"absurd!"

Yan Shan shouted angrily.

Abbot Kuta did not get angry, and continued, "Precepts are the root of all merits and virtues, the root of all actions on the path to Buddhahood, and can eliminate all great evils. The seven views and six attachments are the mirror of the Dharma. Now I have established the root of all precepts for all Buddhas; the three doors of acceptance are the precepts for gathering good dharmas; the eighty-four thousand doors of dharma are the precepts for gathering sentient beings; the precepts for compassion, joy, generosity, and all sentient beings to gain happiness are the precepts for gathering discipline; the ten parajikas..."

The voice of Abbot Kutuo was like the sound of a huge bell, shaking Yan Shan's soul with each sound, causing his spirit to waver a little.

It seemed as if it eventually transformed into several large golden characters that were imprinted on the soul.

"You should first receive the precepts of the correct Dharma."

But at this time.

The Gentleman Cauldron in Yan Shan's mind suddenly burst out with a dazzling white light, shattering the several golden characters and slowly waking him up.

Abbot Kuta sighed when he saw it.

This is the reason why Yan Shan has been refusing to take the precepts for the past six months and he has not forced him.

Buddhists cannot be forced.

If you force it, it will backfire.

He didn't know that Yan Shan had a gentleman tripod in his mind, but a Buddhist is always a Buddhist, so how could his identity be simple?
Even if Buddhists do not have Buddhist teachings, they will be able to resolve all disasters in the dark.

This is the son of Buddha.

How could his words, "I have a connection with Buddha", be just a casual remark? He had indeed seen the Buddha's virtue, mercy, sorrow, and suffering from Mount Yan...

That’s why we say “I have a connection with Buddha”.

Therefore, he is a “son of Buddha”.

And at this time.

The monks inside and outside the hall looked at Yan Shan in surprise. They seemed not to have expected that a Buddhist disciple could dissolve the abbot's Buddhist seal.

If a Buddhist disciple can dissolve the abbot’s Buddhist seal, it means he is a true Buddhist disciple.

Otherwise, how to resolve it?
After all, Buddhists can resolve all disasters in the dark.

"May I ask, Master Abbot, what does this mean?"

Yan Shan said coldly.

"Alas, I am anxious."

Abbot Ku Tuo shook his head, and then he lowered his brows and eyes to face the Great Compassion Buddha on the lotus platform. At this moment, the old monks in the hall did not look at Yan Shan anymore, but turned to face the lotus platform, lowering their brows and eyes.

At this time, Yan Shan was so angry that he had no place to vent, so he had to hold it in and said, "Excuse me, Master Abbot, my senior brother is now dead, but he doesn't have the slightest aura of death. What kind of state is this? My senior brother is the greatest virtual saint in the history of the world, and he is also the greatest gentleman in the world. He will never die easily..."

Abbot Kutuo pondered for a moment, then said softly: "The most perfect person is empty and formless, and all things are created by me. Only the Buddha can make himself perfect by combining all things. Why?"

"Without reason there is no Buddha, without Buddha there is no reason. Reason is Buddha, and Buddha is not different from reason. So it is said: Where should we seek Prajna? Shanji said: Prajna cannot be sought in form, nor can it be sought apart from form. He also said: Seeing dependent origination is seeing the Dharma, and seeing the Dharma is seeing the Buddha. This is the effect of the non-differentiation of the self and the object."

"So the perfect man hides the mystery before it is revealed, hides the mysterious movement in the present, gathers the six directions with the mirror heart, and completes the essence with one coming and going. He connects the past and the present, the beginning and the end, and the origin and the end, and there is no difference. The great and equal state is called Nirvana. The Sutra says: Nirvana can be achieved without leaving all dharmas. It also says: All dharmas are boundless, so Bodhi is boundless. It is known that the way to Nirvana lies in the wonderful understanding. The wonderful understanding is based on the mysterious unity. Then things are not different from me, and I am not different from things. Things and I are mysteriously integrated and return to the infinite. When I advance, I am not ahead, and when I retreat, I am not behind. How can I allow the beginning and the end to be in between? The goddess said: How long will it take for an old man to be liberated?"

When Abbot Kuta finished speaking, he closed his eyes and said no more.

The monks outside the hall were visibly stunned for a moment, and seemed to have understood something.

However, Yan Shan did not understand at all. He had never studied Buddhist scriptures, so how could he understand?
Many of what Abbot Kuta said were Buddhist terms, which he could not interpret literally.

At this moment he had no choice but to look at Elder Kāni, hoping that Elder Kāni could explain what the abbot meant.

Although Elder Kunku did not look at Yan Shan, he seemed to know that Yan Shan was looking at him, so he explained softly: "What the abbot said is that people who have reached a certain state must have an experience of emptiness and spirituality. When they experience the state of emptiness, they will not care about the world. All things flow from my heart, and I hold all things as one with me. Only Buddha can do this! Why do you say that?"

"Because without grasping this truth, one cannot become a Buddha. Conversely, if one is not a Buddha, one cannot know this truth. It is precisely because one has grasped this truth that one can become a Buddha, so the Buddha and the truth are in perfect harmony."

"All Buddhas cannot depart from this truth! This is just as the Prajnaparamita says: color and mind are one, appearances are inseparable, emptiness is color, color is emptiness. From the perspective of dependent origination, all dharmas are empty, emptiness is all dharmas. Seeing the Buddha is seeing the dharma, seeing the dharma is seeing emptiness. All dharmas are empty in nature, and that is seeing the Buddha. Forgetting both the self and the object is not the same, not different."

"So, the Buddha who has mastered the realm of emptiness always explores the mysteries in the foreshadowing, hides the future in the changes, and unifies the six directions of east, south, west, north, up, down, and in one mind, making the past and the future one. The past and the present are the same, and there is no difference in the ultimate. To unify the vastness of the universe and the self is Nirvana."

"This is what the sutra says, 'You can attain Nirvana without leaving all dharmas.' Because all dharmas are boundless, the pursuit of liberation is also endless. The path to Nirvana lies in maintaining the 'wonderful understanding' of the wonderful principles. With the 'wonderful understanding', you will know the truth that all dharmas are one and the same. There is no essential difference between all things and me. I am the same as all things. All things and I are mysteriously connected. Wuji is their final destination."

"Nirvana is to move forward without going forward, to retreat without going backward, without beginning or end, with no beginning or end in between! The goddess said: The liberation of the elderly also has no beginning or end." After the elder had finished speaking, he pondered for a moment and said, "Do you understand, Buddha?"

Yan Shan frowned, still not quite understanding. He felt that the old monk in front of him always liked to play tricks on him and not explain things directly. He pondered for a moment and said, "Does the abbot mean that my senior brother is now in a state of nirvana?"

The Suffering Elder smiled but said nothing.

"May I ask the Master of Suffering, what is Nirvana?"

Yan Shan asked.

"The state of perfection and tranquility is Nirvana." Elder Suffering smiled, "And in Nirvana, there will never be any troubles, pains, or asceticism in life. It is inaction, great freedom, and immortality..."

Yan Shan thought hard, and it seemed that his brother's current state was perfect and peaceful, neither born nor dead. However, he could not confirm whether his brother was alive or dead, so he could only ask: "If so, when will my brother wake up?"

The Suffering Elder said nothing more, but just sat there in silence with his mouth and eyes closed.

At this time, Jiuge walked up carefully, and asked with a puzzled look on his face: "Mr. San, what are they talking about? What is Nirvana? What is immortality?"

"What the abbot said is that Brother is now in the state of Nirvana." Yan Shan pondered for a moment and explained, as if he already believed what the abbot said, "The so-called Nirvana is a state of perfection and tranquility, that is, great freedom, without birth or death..."

After Jiuge heard this, there were more questions on his face, and he looked like he didn't understand.

"According to what the abbot said, Brother has attained Buddhahood."

Yan Shan frowned.

"Becoming a Buddha means there is no death?"

Jiuge thought about it and asked.

"Neither birth nor death..."

Yan Shan frowned, unable to tell whether his senior brother was alive or dead. After all, he was in a state of neither birth nor death.

That is, neither death nor life?

What is this status?
But, if one has become a Buddha, he should not die, right? If he dies, can he still be a Buddha?
"Jiuge, Qingmang, let's go."

Yan Shan looked at Feng Qingyan on the lotus platform and said after a moment of hesitation.

"Walk?"

Jiuge was a little stunned.

Yan Shan nodded and walked outside.

As long as my senior brother is not dead, everything is easy to deal with. It doesn't matter whether he is a Buddha or not. As long as my senior brother wakes up, it is just a matter of words.

The most important thing now is that my brother is not dead.

But, it didn’t give birth.

At this moment he walked out in silence. Jiuge and Qingmang looked at each other and followed him out.

After a while he returned to the monastery.

Yan Shan just sat on the stone chair without saying a word. Jiuge and Qingmang saw that Mr. San looked worried, so they didn't say anything to disturb him.

After a while.

Yan Shan stood up and said to Jiuge and Qingmang: "Jiuge, Qingmang, Brother will not die so easily. Maybe Brother is really in the nirvana state that the abbot said, and he will wake up one day."

Jiuge nodded suddenly.

"By the way, Jiuge, do you know why Senior Brother suddenly came to Kutuotian?"

Yan Shan asked with some curiosity.

It was only after he came to the Western Regions that he suddenly decided to go to Kutuo Heaven.

Although he experienced many hardships while crossing the eternal night, his luck was really good. He was only in the Wen Xiang realm, but he walked out of the eternal night without any damage...

Over the thousands of years, countless great sages have died in the eternal darkness.

Even if he was as strong as Elder Kuci, if he had not encountered Feng Qingyan again and again, he would probably have died in the eternal night. However, Elder Kuci's luck was also very good. He actually survived the extreme cold twice in a state of insanity.

"do not know."

Jiuge shook his head, then thought about Liu Ling and other students, wondering whether he should tell Yan Shan.

But after thinking about it, I decided not to say it.

At this time Yan Shan asked in detail about what happened in the eternal night, but Jiuge didn't know much.

"Mr. San also knows that the soul can be seen in the eternal night?"

This surprised Jiuge very much.

"I discovered this by accident. It is only by relying on my soul to leave my body that I can get through the eternal night." Yan Shan sighed. At this moment, he still felt a lingering fear when he thought of the eternal night.

"Mr. San, what should we do now?"

Jiuge asked.

"Wait, wait for Brother to wake up."

Yan Shan pondered for a moment and said.

Jiuge and Qingmang nodded when they heard this. They could not do anything for the Master (Lord), so they could only wait for the Master (Lord) to wake up.

"Mr. San, why do you think there is endless suffering coming from you? Is it true, as Master Kuci said, that you experienced all kinds of suffering in the world and came back to save people from suffering, and thus became a Buddha?"

Jiuge was puzzled, and couldn't understand why the master was filled with such terrible suffering.

"Nonsense."

Yan Shan said coldly, not believing at all that he had experienced all kinds of suffering in the world and came back to save people from suffering. "Brother, you have never been to Kutuo Heaven, and you have never learned Buddhism. How can you become a Buddha? It's like, can a person who has never learned the holy way suddenly become a saint?"

"I'm afraid that's not possible."

Jiuge thought for a moment and said.

"Mr. San, since the sufferings that His Majesty has gone through in the world are fake, then the state of Nirvana that His Majesty is in now is also fake?"

Qing Mang was stunned for a moment.

"It's false that you have gone through all kinds of suffering in the world and returned to become a Buddha, but the so-called nirvana state you are in is real." Yan Shan pondered for a moment and said, "Perhaps, it is because you are in a state very similar to nirvana that they mistakenly think you have become a Buddha."

Jiuge and Qingmang breathed a sigh of relief when they heard this.

At this moment, Yan Shan frowned and said, "Perhaps Senior Brother really experienced all kinds of suffering in the world in an instant, it's not surprising..."

After all, the old monk in the Bodhisattva realm of Kutuo Temple is not a fool.

Can't they see it?
So, after thinking about it, Yan Shan still couldn't be sure whether his senior brother had become a Buddha.

And at this time.

Outside the Kutuo Temple, countless monks and common people came devoutly.

However, ordinary monks and common people were not qualified to enter Kutuo Temple and could only kowtow outside the temple.

Inside and outside the hall.

Many monks at the Bodhisattva and Arhat levels all sat cross-legged quietly listening to the Buddha's voice and comprehending the Dharma...

What Abbot Kutuo said is not wrong. Seeing the Buddha is seeing the Dharma, and seeing the Dharma is seeing emptiness. The nature of all dharmas is emptiness, and that is seeing the Buddha. Forgetting both the self and the object is the same, and there is no difference.

All things are empty, emptiness is all things.

They sit cross-legged there, but seeing the Buddha, and seeing the Buddha is seeing the Dharma.

However, seeing the dharma is also seeing emptiness.

Although Feng Qingyan was revered by them as the Great Compassionate Buddha, not many monks had seen the Buddha.

They only saw Feng Qingyan.

Even though some monks saw the Buddha, they did not see the Dharma.

Even though some monks have seen the Dharma, they have not seen emptiness.

Even though some monks have seen emptiness, they are unable to transform it into Dharma.

Therefore, most of the monks ended up with nothing, seeing nothing but Feng Qingyan sitting on the lotus pedestal.

However, people like Abbot Kuta, Elder Kunya, Elder Kuci, etc. not only saw the Buddha, but also saw the Dharma.

However, all dharmas are not empty in nature.

If all dharmas are not empty in nature, then it is impossible to attain Buddhahood…

More and more monks flocked to Kutuo Temple.

They all want to see the Great Compassionate Buddha and hear the Dharma of the Great Compassionate Buddha.

Although the world is suffering so much that it makes people's hearts tremble, for many monks, it is as sweet as honey. They believe that the great compassionate Buddha permeates the world's various sufferings, and the supreme Dharma is hidden in it.

If one can comprehend it thoroughly and understand it clearly, it is possible to become a Buddha.

And within just a few days, some monks were indeed able to break through the sufferings of the world and attain the status of arhat or bodhisattva.

Especially in Kutuo Temple, there are quite a few monks who have broken through.

This made Yan Shan very shocked.

This also reminded Yan Shan that his senior brother had helped hundreds of zither players break through the realm. Could it be that there was really something inexplicable about his senior brother?

Time passes day by day.

Senior brother still hadn’t woken up, but there was still no trace of death emanating from his body.

It seemed that the main hall of Kutuo Temple had become even more sacred after absorbing some incense invisibly.

It really looks like a Buddha.

At this moment, the brother's face gradually became sad, just like the compassionate Buddha.

Yan Shan was really afraid that one day his senior brother would become the Buddha of Kutuo Heaven.

This joke is a bit too much.

However, as time goes by.

He found that the number of monks outside the hall was gradually decreasing.

Not only the monks inside and outside the main hall, but even the number of monks in Kutuo Temple has gradually decreased.

Especially the monks above the level of Heshi (Alchemist), their numbers are getting smaller day by day.

They don't know where they went.

Yan Shan asked curiously, so he asked the suffering elder who had been following him. But the suffering elder didn't say anything, only a look of sadness flashed across his face...

In Kutuo Temple, it seemed that the monks who were at the Bodhisattva level basically all had a look of misery on their faces.

So Yan Shan didn't notice it.

When Yan Shan saw that almost half of the monks in Kutuo Temple were gone, he finally realized that something was wrong and asked, "Master Kunnu, are they going to subdue the demons?"

The Suffering Elder clasped his hands together and nodded.

"You can't hold on any longer?"

Yan Shan asked with a serious expression, because he found that there were only a few old monks at the Bodhisattva level left in Kutuo Temple.

"The Buddha's son is Kutuotian's last hope."

The suffering elder said.

"Master Kun Ku, I am not a Buddhist, and I cannot possibly be a Buddhist."

Yan Shan shook his head. Although he had explained it many times, he had to explain it again now. After all, Elder Ku Nan actually regarded him as Ku Tuo Tian’s last hope.

At this moment, he walked towards the hall where Feng Qingyan was.

There were very few monks left inside and outside the hall, and most of them had gone to the west coast line. However, they still could not withstand the crazy attacks of the monsters, and it was unknown how many monks died, including monks in the Bodhisattva realm.

And the abbot Kuta is also gone.

He led the monks and army of Kutatian and was desperately defending the western coastline.

At this time, Yan Shan walked into the hall, staring at Feng Qingyan who seemed to be filled with endless suffering, and said, "Master Kunlun, since you all say that my brother is a great compassionate Buddha who has experienced all kinds of suffering in the world and returned to save people from suffering, why don't you see him turning the boat around to help sentient beings escape from the sea of suffering? And why don't you see him suppressing all disasters?"

"How do Buddhists know that I, the Buddha, am not returning to the world to show my compassion for all living beings?"

The Elder of Suffering smiled and bowed to the body on the lotus platform with his hands clasped together, "How can you know that I, the Buddha, am not suppressing all disasters?"

"Demons are wreaking havoc in Kuta Heaven."

Yan Shan said.

"In fact, our Buddha has already turned back to the right path. Could it be that the Buddha's disciples have not seen it?"

The Suffering Elder still smiled.

"No."

Yan Shan said calmly, and then he became a little confused, "Master Kunku, why did those monsters suddenly go crazy? Even if they might die, they still want to fight to the death? What's the point of them taking over Kutuotian if there are no more living beings?"

"Even demons have disasters."

The Suffering Elder pondered for a moment and said.

"Even demons have calamities? What calamities?"

Yan Shan frowned.

At this time, a group of figures emitting Buddha's light came outside the hall, wanting to ask the Great Compassionate Buddha to go to the west coast line to suppress the demons...
