Chapter 542 Rebel Army

Chapter 542 Rebel Army

The two entered the sewer.

To avoid any misunderstanding, John removed his mask beforehand.

During this time, John kept pressing Peter Windagher about the castle.

“Knight Wendagher is no match for me, but the Supreme Evolution has surpassed my imagination in power,” Peter said truthfully.

“If the rebels can’t even handle those ridiculous knights, I don’t think they’re capable of overthrowing the rule of the Supreme Evolution.”

At that moment, a dissatisfied voice came from the other end of the sewer.

"Are you underestimating us?"

Peter and John looked up and saw a hovercar approaching through the wide sewer, with three people inside.

A girl with orange hair tied in a ponytail, an old man with blonde hair and a somewhat fierce face, and a boy who also had blonde hair but was covered in bandages.

Men, women, young and old—everyone was there.

Peter even suspected that the two blond men might be grandfather and grandson.

"You are the rebels?"

Peter asked.

The blond older man, clearly annoyed, drifted, blocking the car in front of Peter and John, then jumped out and aggressively rammed into Peter's face.

He's not tall, but he has a bad temper.

"So you underestimate us, the resistance?"

"Boy, don't think you're so great just because you fought against Knight Wendagher!"

“I don’t think so. It’s you guys who, despite never having competed with them, think you’re so great,” Peter retorted.

"you!"

Old Man Blonde was so angry he wanted to punch Peter, but the orange-haired girl stepped in and calmed him down, saying, "Alright, Brumley, what he said is true."

"And what we need to do now is unite all forces that can be united, not argue."

"At least there's someone who understands the truth."

Peter clasped his hands in agreement.

The man called Broomley snorted in dissatisfaction and turned his head away.

The orange-haired woman began to introduce herself: “My name is Karen,” Peter raised his eyebrows slightly, a name that matched his AI’s, “This is Broomray, our mechanic and weapons engineer, and this is Kit.”

The boy named Kit didn't say anything, but instead took two candies out of his pocket and handed them to Peter and John.

"Thank you."

"We still have several hundred people in the base."

"Several hundred people?"

"Is that all you have?" Peter asked.

This number is less than the number of trash cans in the city.

“And all the poor,” Karen said optimistically, “they are all our hidden members. Talk about you.”

“My name is John Jameson, I’m Spider-Man, and we come from another planet,” John introduced himself.

“He’s a stinking orc!” Broomley glared at Peter.

“No, he’s human,” John quickly explained. “There are no orcs on my planet…” He thought of Connorson, then became a little uncertain. “Probably.”

Peter then lifted a small part of his mask, revealing his human chin.

Broomray's expression softened a little.

"As long as they're not orcs, that's fine. I can't cooperate with those stinky orcs." He seemed to be arguing with someone.

An old stubborn man. "You must be having a hard time," Peter said sympathetically to Karen.

It's not just about fighting the orcs, but also about taking care of some problematic individuals within the resistance.

“That’s why I need your help even more.” Karen, like a true leader, looked at Peter and said, “Besides your two great help, I also want to know about the situation in the Tower and the situation of Sir Wendagher.”

"The Four Horsemen of Comedy need not worry."

Peter said casually, "I easily subdued them and even knocked the goat's croissant off with one punch. Hopefully, his girlfriend won't mind that he's bald, if he even has one."

Kit, wrapped in bandages, immediately looked at him.

"Is this true?" Karen's eyes lit up.

Broomray, however, thought he was bragging.

"Of course it's true. My suit has a recording function. Would you like to see Spider-Man training the circus animals?"

Before they could answer, Peter played it himself.

He had been playing it before he even infiltrated, and when the orange-haired girl heard Peter call out Karen's name, she gave him a surprised look.

Peter explained, “Coincidentally, my AI shares the same name as you.”

"That's normal, it's a name that's everywhere."

Then they saw how Peter infiltrated and easily subdued the Four Horsemen.

Even Broomray was incredibly surprised, thinking to himself, "No wonder this guy doesn't take the Four Horsemen seriously; you can't judge a book by its cover."

Then the Ultimate Evolution appeared.

"He's a Supreme Evolution!" Karen was about to open her eyes wide and continue watching when Peter quickly cut off the screen.

Why didn't you release it?

"Um, the rest of the plot will be a secret for now. All you need to know is that Spider-Man escaped successfully, that's enough," Peter said awkwardly.

Anyone could tell he must have been beaten up.

"So you think we can't win, that his strength is beyond your imagination?" Karen asked.

"That's not true."

Peter immediately shook his head: "I've seen people who are countless times more powerful than him, like Spider-Man."

He turned to John and said.

“He rarely shows his face,” John said.

"Of course, he is the head of the Heavenly Crafts Association. The entire universe is under his jurisdiction. The Supreme Evolution dares to act recklessly only on this one planet. Once outside this planet, he has to lower his head and behave himself."

On this planet, you are called the Supreme Evolution; outside of this planet, what will you be called?
"He once overthrew the tyranny of a planet in a single month, defeated the cosmic overlord, and swept across three great empires..."

Peter recounted Bant's achievements, stories that John knew nothing about, and John listened with great interest, wishing he could take his place.

“My advice is not to confront them head-on, but to wait for the Heavenly Society to come to my rescue,” Peter said. “If nothing unexpected happens, the Heavenly Society will find me within two weeks.”

He considered that since he owned Copytrix, the Tiangong Society might trust him more.

But after two weeks of no contact, one should have realized something was wrong.

“Two weeks, okay, we can wait,” Karen agreed.

But Broomley said anxiously, "No, Karen, have you forgotten that the Ram Rider is secretly researching biological poisons? If he succeeds, he can kill us all at once!"

“Have you forgotten that the Ram Rider has already been defeated, haven’t you, Broomray?” Karen said.

"Two weeks, we can wait."

Two weeks passed in the blink of an eye.

But the support Peter expected never arrived.
