Chapter 345 Great Victory
In an instant, the ground shook.

Thousands of cavalrymen, who had been lying in wait for a long time, surged out from the shadows of the snow and trees, like an unstoppable black iron tide, rushing straight towards the black pine forest.

The horses' hooves crushed the snow. The cavalrymen crouched low, almost becoming one with their mounts, their sabers gripped tightly in their hands, reflecting a chilling glint in the sunlight, like the fangs of wolves baring in the night.

There were no shouts, no roars, only the thunderous clang of iron hooves clashing with armor. This army was like a meticulously calculated killing machine, every movement filled with cold efficiency and deadly determination, heading straight for the still noisy and bustling encampment.

"what sound?"

In the woods, a female soldier who was talking loudly about how to manipulate men suddenly stopped and listened with some doubt.

"It sounds like... thunder?" another female soldier replied blankly.

The dull rumble grew louder and louder as it approached, and the ground trembled more violently. The female soldiers' wild fantasies gradually subsided, replaced by confusion.

They looked at each other, neither of them knowing what had happened.

Tielan frowned in annoyance, about to send someone to see what was going on, when the roaring sound was already right in front of them!

At the edge of the woods, a series of black silhouettes suddenly appeared!
It's cavalry! It's Meng Xiao's cavalry!

They appeared as if they were heavenly soldiers descending to earth, majestic and awe-inspiring, as if they had come down from the heavens and appeared in their sight in an instant.

The confusion on the female soldiers' faces froze for a moment, then was replaced by fear.

"Enemy attack! It's an enemy attack!"

A piercing scream suddenly rang out.

The entire camp erupted in chaos.

The female soldiers were terrified. Just moments before, they had been fantasizing about how to torture the men, but now all color had drained from their faces. They screamed and cried, like a flock of sheep encountering wild wolves, dropping everything they were holding and fleeing in all directions.

"Don't panic! Grab your weapons and fight back! Fight back!"

Tielan was furious. She drew her scimitar and tried desperately to rally the scattered soldiers.

However, faced with the threat of death, the terrified female soldiers could no longer listen to her. They only wished they had two more legs and wanted to get as far away from those killing gods as possible.

"Lord Tielan! The battle is too chaotic, we can't fight here at all!" A relatively calm female soldier grabbed her arm and shouted urgently, "Let's escape separately first, and then find a place to meet up later!"

Tielan looked at the chaotic, apocalyptic scene before him and trembled with rage.

"Fine! Let's retreat!" she roared through gritted teeth.

She then mounted her horse and turned it around.

But the anger in her heart burned fiercely, and she vented her rage on Meng Xiao, cursing him under her breath: "Meng Xiao, that despicable and shameless coward! He doesn't dare to face us head-on, so he resorts to such low-down sneak attacks!"

As she spoke, she seemed to have completely forgotten her plan to launch a sneak attack.

The female soldiers began to flee for their lives.

Strangely, however, the pursuers behind them didn't seem to be in a hurry to wipe them out. Meng Xiao's cavalry, like a group of experienced hunters, leisurely followed behind them, only reaping the lives of those who lagged behind, without any intention of annihilating the enemy in one fell swoop.

Therefore, after suffering a heavy loss of most of their troops, Tielan and her women managed to escape.

They regrouped in a strategically advantageous mountain hollow. Surrounded by mountains on three sides with only a narrow entrance, the terrain was relatively open, and they could utilize the slopes on both sides for defense.

The scattered female soldiers gathered in twos and threes. Seeing that there were more people around her now, Tielan finally relaxed a little.

But these female soldiers were all dejected, their faces ashen like the dust on a grave. The desperate escape they had just endured had almost drained them of all their courage.

Seeing their distraught state, Tielan felt a surge of anger.

She shouted sternly, "Stand up, all of you! What kind of behavior is this? So what if you were ambushed? What are you afraid of?"

"Don't forget you're women who eat plenty of meat, eggs, and dairy, and exercise every day! Those good-for-nothings couldn't even manage a sneak attack, now they can only fight us head-on. Even if we're down to half our numbers, we can still kill them all!"

This argument was utterly absurd, but the female soldiers were completely won over by it.

Their bodies jolted at first, then they all raised their heads, and their eyes lit up again.

—That's right! The reason we lost was simply because those men were too cunning and only knew how to launch sneak attacks! In a real fight, what are they?
This idea instantly took hold. A strange courage suddenly surged within them. "That's right! That's it!" A female soldier sprang to her feet, her fist clenched as if she were about to strike someone.

"Twist the heads off those cowards and use them as chamber pots!"

"Let them see how powerful we women are!"

The female soldiers scrambled to their feet, stretching their limbs and rubbing their hands together, as if they weren't the ones who had just been chased and nearly killed.

Outside the ravine, on the flat ground, Meng Xiao's army remained motionless. He coldly watched the group of women in the ravine who had become arrogant again.

He didn't even bother to say another word, he just raised his hand again.

"All troops, charge!"

The order was given, and the war drums, which had been silent for a moment, roared back to life!

Meng Xiao's cavalry quickly reorganized their ranks, and like a gleaming sharp knife, they plunged once again into the only entrance to the mountain pass.

In the mountain valley, Tielan watched the black tide surge in again, his face filled with undisguised contempt.

"Look!" she exclaimed, pointing at the cavalry in the distance. "These idiots actually dare to charge over here! What did I tell you? Without a sneak attack, they're just a bunch of useless trash! We have such a good position, they're just throwing their lives away if they come in! They can't even see that, they're incredibly stupid."

Upon hearing this, the female soldiers below burst into laughter, whistling and shouting in the direction of the enemy, completely disregarding them.

"Come on! You bunch of spineless cowards!"

"Run faster! The old woman's knife can't wait to taste your blood!"

They lazily picked up stones from the ground, casually nocked arrows, and looked so relaxed that they didn't seem to be preparing to fight at all. Their faces were full of disdain, as if they were looking at bedbugs.

However, as the cavalry tide drew ever closer, their overwhelming momentum began to make it difficult for them to breathe.

The ground beneath their feet trembled even more violently, as if it would crack open at any moment and swallow them all whole. The killing intent emanating from the thousands of iron cavalry was far more intense than they had imagined.

The laughter and curses in the valley first became sparse, and then, like a candle flame being extinguished, they fell completely silent. Only heavy breathing remained.

Tielan's smile froze.

The cavalry drew closer.

They could see the cold, iron-like masks on the cavalrymen's faces, the emotionless killing intent in their eyes, and feel the sharpness of their sabers as if they could slice through the air.

That wasn't a group of people; it was a wall of steel and death, hurtling head-on toward them!

"Release the arrows! Release the arrows now!" Tielan's voice suddenly turned shrill.

The arrows flew out sparsely, but like pebbles thrown into the sea, they didn't even make a ripple.

The female soldiers, who had been so arrogant just moments before, now found their hands gripping the stones trembling uncontrollably, their teeth chattering, and their faces deathly pale. The unwavering belief in victory that had just been stirred within them had vanished like a spiderweb torn apart by a gale, leaving only barely visible fragments.

it's over...

We can't beat them...

They will kill us...

Fear spread like a plague through the ranks of the army.

Finally, when Meng Xiao's cavalry charged to within a hundred paces of the entrance, a female soldier could no longer withstand the pressure. She screamed, threw down her weapon, and turned to run into the depths of the ravine.

Her breakdown became the final straw that broke the camel's back.

Immediately afterwards, the second and third female soldiers also threw down their weapons and turned to run. Panic acted like a lit fuse, instantly igniting the entire military formation.

The female soldiers jostled and pushed each other, even stepping on fallen comrades, all in an effort to escape faster than the others.

The battle lines that had just been clamoring to slaughter the enemy crumbled from within before the cavalry's blades even touched them.

Tielan watched this scene in despair, wanting to scream for them to come back. But when she actually opened her mouth, she realized she didn't even have the courage to shout.
