Chapter 1657 Outsiders

In the shower room, everyone froze on the spot—

It's like the game of "Red Light, Green Light".

Watt was full of questions. They were just supposed to keep quiet, but why were they all standing there stiffly, with only their eyes moving?

Clearly, Watt wasn't the only one with this question; Kelsey did too, and he was mouthing to Hill, "Why aren't we all moving?"

Before Watt could figure it out, a loud bang came from the locker room behind him. "Surprise!"

Watt's heart skipped a beat, thinking he had accidentally blurted out his thoughts. He quickly scanned the shower room, only to find everyone stunned.

They stared at each other, dumbfounded.

Hill rolled his eyes in annoyance, clenched his fists, and roared silently to the sky, "Damn it..."

Kelsey quickly glanced at Watt, the two exchanged a look, waved to each other, signaling everyone in the shower to follow, and then rushed out.

The clattering of footsteps had already betrayed their location, but it was quickly drowned out by scattered shouts—

"surprise!"

You shout yours, I shout mine, there's no coordination at all, the so-called surprise has no effect whatsoever, it's more like a farce in a circus.

If Charlie Chaplin were alive, he would be more than happy to use the scene before him to make a silent comedy.

Watt quickly scanned the locker room and immediately spotted Frank Clark sprawled on the floor, looking utterly disheveled but still diligently making a surprised gesture. His eyes nearly popped out of their sockets.

Frank Clark is usually a lone wolf who rarely acts in groups, so seeing him like this without warning almost made Watt doubt his own eyes.

It's clear that Frank Clark was also in a sorry state. His jerseys, shoes, and personal belongings were scattered haphazardly on the locker to his right, making it easy to imagine the tall, muscular Frank Clark huddled up inside.

Not only Watt, but Levi and Mahomes, standing in front, also stared at Frank Clark with utter astonishment.

Levi and Mahomes stared in disbelief at the crowd surging out of the shower room, wave after wave, a bustling, jostling crowd, bumping into each other, dizzy and disoriented, a complete mess.

Kelsey, standing in front of the crowd, tried to brake and control her body, but Hill, Brilland, and the others behind her couldn't stop and crashed into her one after another, causing Kelsey's arms to spin rapidly like a windmill, making it impossible for her to stand steadily.

Watt stepped in to help, pulling Kelsey back into control and preventing a disaster.

Kelsey was panting heavily, even starting to sweat. Looking at the bewildered Levi and Mahomes, she couldn't help but swear.

Frank Clark, no longer caring about his disheveled state, jumped to his feet, clutched his tailbone, and jogged to join the group. He ran behind Watt to hide himself and joined everyone in raising their left hands high and shouting.

Looking at the group of people in front of him, Li Wei tried to control himself and make a few sarcastic remarks, but after taking a closer look at their disheveled faces, the scene was really too funny - a completely failed surprise.

"And when did you arrive?"

"Who orchestrated this? This is complete chaos! Do you even know what you're doing?"

Chattering and bustling.

A lively scene unfolded, with everyone exchanging insults and attacks, completely overshadowing the real protagonist.

The party was starting to get out of control.

Levi and Mahomes exchanged a bewildered glance. Mahomes couldn't help but chuckle, his lips twitching slightly before he finally burst out laughing.

Li Wei looked slightly helpless and said loudly, "Quiet."

This was clearly not enough; the bustling noise completely drowned out Li Wei's voice.

Li Wei had no choice but to raise his voice and shout forcefully, "Quiet!"

The world fell silent, and all eyes turned to Li Wei.

Levi looked at Watt, Kelsey, Hill, and the others, "What are you doing here? Didn't you all go back?"

We looked at each other, then at each other, and finally all our eyes fell on Kelsey.

Kelsey rolled her eyes. "So now everyone's agreed that I'll take the blame, right? You guys just want to watch me get tortured by this newbie until I vomit bile?"

After muttering a few complaints to herself, Kelsey didn't wait for a response and turned to Watt the next second, saying, "It was all JJ's idea."

Watt blinked, looking at Kelsey who had turned her head and was whistling. Why did he feel something was off?

But Watt didn't argue. Instead, he looked at Levi, hesitated for a moment, and all sorts of thoughts and words swirled on his tongue. Things that seemed so simple to Texans in Houston were now incredibly difficult for the Kansas City Chiefs. He had only been in Kansas City for less than eight months. Did he really have the right to speak for the locker room?

Before Watt could speak, Levi's voice came from ahead, "JJ, I've never seen you so restrained."

Watt suddenly looked up and realized how cautious he had been.

Seeing the honesty and integrity in Li Wei's eyes, Watt's tension and anxiety eased slightly. He clenched his fist to encourage himself and finally spoke.

“We… uh, I’m worried about you.”

Kelsey lowered her voice and encouraged Watt, "Be bold, say 'we'."

Watt raised his voice and repeated, "We're worried about you."
