Chapter 555: Operation Pulling the Braid

Chapter 555: Operation Pulling the Braid
……

The Emperor's Pride.

Abaddon stood up from the ruins and took a moment to remember what had just happened.

Just before the void shield of the Emperor's Pride was raised, a macro cannon shell hit the command deck, blowing half of it to pieces.

Fulgrim was standing right by the porthole. Although he was covered in wounds and blood, he was not killed by the explosion. He was squatting on the ruins, watching Abaddon slowly getting up with an extremely calm look.

The purple armor on the Primarch's body flickered with a faint light.

"Abaddon."

"What are you doing here?"

Fulgrim asked quietly.

Abaddon had no intention of answering this question at all, and simply thought that Fulgrim's mental illness had relapsed.

He was more concerned about the armor on Fulgrim.

After pondering for a moment, Abaddon could not recall whether Fulgrim, as he had seen him when he entered the command deck, was wearing the current set of purple armor.

"Mortarion came before you!" Abaddon shouted at Fulgrim, unable to suppress his anger. "And because of your stupidity, he left in front of all of us!"

After yelling, Abaddon felt a little regretful because he had seen how capricious and cruel Fulgrim was.

Right now, the Emperor's Children's top commander, Eidolon, still has his head in the bathtub.

The bathtub was placed on the dining table in front of Abaddon.

But Fulgrim did not suddenly lose his temper as usual, nor did he suddenly laugh when offended.

There is only silence.

silence.

Fulgrim seemed to have suddenly turned into a philosopher, squatting on the ruins with a deep look on his face.

Abaddon didn't say anything else and calmed down to think about what had just happened with Eichmand.

He had returned after Eichmander had left the Emperor's Children fleet and was sent out on a mission by Fulgrim.

It was this incident that made Abaddon feel that Fulgrim had lost his judgment, as he would actually send someone like Eichmand to carry out a mission instead of sending an Emperor's son.

"Will you betray me too?" Fulgrim suddenly asked, "Like Eichmand."

"I am not loyal to you in the first place," Abaddon retorted immediately, "but... then again, Eichmand doesn't know what's going on in the Legion, otherwise he would make the same decision as me."

After hearing this, Fulgrim fell into deep thought, and then suddenly covered his face and cried.

As tears fell from her palms, strange laughter was interspersed among the crying sounds.

Abaddon simply turned and left, no longer paying any attention to Fulgrim.

The Emperor's Children Space Marines who entered the command deck asked Abaddon something, but Abaddon did not respond and just walked away with his head down.

Leave the command deck, leave the Emperor's pride.

He boarded the cruiser he had come on and left the galaxy.

The Emperor's Children accessed the communication channel to ask Abaddon why he left, but Abaddon did not respond.

Before he came, he promised Fulgrim that he would help Fulgrim do something.

But then was before and now is now.

Abaddon believed that there was no need for him to stay in the Emperor's Children Legion at all, and all previous plans could be scrapped.

The cruiser entered the warp.

For the rebels, the storm is not a problem at all. Instead, it is a tailwind that allows the ships to take advantage of the force.

……

Qin Xia was waiting on a waterway.

The warship that Abaddon was on had appeared in his sight.

Even though it looked extremely far away from the warship visually, Qin Xia could only see a part of the bow because the warship itself was too large.

Facing the warship coming straight towards him, Qin Xia did not dodge, but just raised his hands with full concentration.

The psychic power was absorbed and called upon by him, enveloping the warship.

When Qin Xia pushed his hands, the warship that was rushing forward gradually stopped and even slowly retreated.

Finally, when ice and snow appeared in the subspace, an entire warship was forced to leave the navigation state and rushed out of the subspace into the real universe without starting the subspace engine.

Abaddon on the command deck saw the frost covering the entire command deck and the snowflakes slowly falling from the sky, and he could guess what was happening.

"Mobilize armed personnel to defend the command deck!"

Abaddon turned abruptly and gave orders to the panicked mortal officers.

But when he turned around, he found that he was no longer on the command deck, but in a dark corridor, and he didn't know where he was exactly.

This meant that neither the Mortal Marines nor the Luna Wolves Space Marines would be able to find Abaddon in any short period of time.

"At this."

The voice came from behind.

Abaddon was facing a formidable enemy, he drew his bolt pistol and turned to aim.

Qin Xia appeared in the tactical view embedded in the head of the Terminator armor.

Unlike Abaddon who was facing a formidable enemy, Qin Xia just stood in the middle of the corridor with his spear stuck in the ground and his whole body leaning on the spear. He did not look like he was here to fight, but rather like he was waiting for an old acquaintance on the street.

Abaddon tried to pull the trigger, but no matter how hard he tried, his fingers wouldn't pull the trigger. Even his entire right arm holding the gun was slowly bending back, pointing the muzzle at his head.

Abaddon then raised his other hand uncontrollably and took off his helmet.

Finally, the hand reached to the waist and activated the communication device, broadcasting the current location to those who were searching for Abaddon and the invaders.

If the trigger is pulled at this moment, the fired bomb will blow Abaddon's head to pieces, and he will not be as lucky as Erebus who was forced to death by him.

"What's going on with your legion?"

"Why are you here?" "Horus betrayed?"

Three questions in succession reached Abaddon's ears.

Qin Xia didn't even look at Abaddon, but lowered his head and looked at the floor, as if hesitating, embarrassed, and tormented...

"Why don't you come here and find the answer?" Abaddon struggled, tapping his head lightly with his fingers.

Qin Xia was silent.

He was a little afraid of getting the answer he least wanted, which was that Horus had betrayed him.

Abaddon also remained silent, his eyes glancing around.

At other forks in the corridor, several Luna Wolves Space Marines and Gastalin Terminators were approaching silently.

Qin Xia was standing at the intersection of the corridor.

The Space Marines immediately rushed towards him, no longer crouching and walking lightly, but running at a furious speed.

Qin Xia kept his head still and turned his eyes slightly to the left.

More than thirty Moon Wolves remained fixed in place while maintaining their forward movement.

A team of Gastalin Terminators broke through the wall of the corridor on Qin Xia's right, and were fixed in place when they rushed out with power swords.

Qin Xia just controlled Abaddon to send his current location. The purpose of these people coming here was to make him "listen to both sides and gain a clear understanding".

Qin Xia no longer leaned on his spear and walked straight towards Abaddon.

Abaddon watched Qin Xia approach and put his hand on his head.

A lot of information flooded into Qin Xia's mind.

This information is not a collection of fragmented clues, nor are it a collection of pictures with a limited perspective.

Qin Xia immediately knew what he wanted to know most.

Horus did not rebel.

The ship the Warmaster was on was damaged when a warp storm raged, the Geller field stopped working, and all the people on the ship fought a bloody battle with the warp creatures that poured into the ship for several months.

When ammunition and food were exhausted, the minions of the God of Chaos descended upon the ship.

A blue two-headed bird came to the exhausted Primarch with a cane and teleported him away.

When Abaddon asked what would happen to the Daemon Primarch, one of the Daemon's heads told the truth: "He will become a messenger of the gods under the influence of the power of the High Heavens."

"But things are not irreversible, you still have a chance."

"Go find Fulgrim and warn him when his fleet is about to be raided by Mortarion, then bring Mortarion here."

"Your Primarch will be freed."

With Horus' life or death uncertain, Abaddon tried to resist, but the result was predictable.

Qin Xia read the brains of several other Space Marines and experienced everything he had just read from Abaddon's mind from the perspectives of several other people.

Finally he returned to Abaddon and slapped his face, which had an indignant look on it.

Two teeth mixed with blood splattered out.

"Are you crazy? You actually did what the two-headed bird said and wanted to hand Mortarion over to them in exchange for your Primarch's freedom?"

"You are mad! You are crazier than Fulgrim!"

Qin Xia scolded.

"Then am I going to watch the Primarch die! Or watch him become like Fulgrim!"

Abaddon roared, and blood splattered from his mouth towards Qin Xia as he spoke, but was blocked by the psychic barrier.

"We couldn't even stand up and fight when the Primarch was taken away!"

"Many soldiers tried to commit suicide but failed!"

"What else can I do except capture Mortarion and replace him with the Warmaster!"

Abaddon was slapped again before he could finish his words.

"Don't shout at me! I know what you went through, and I know why you did it, but your behavior can still be called crazy!" Qin Xia said.

Abaddon did not argue this time, because he also knew that he was really being driven crazy.

On his way to the Emperor's Children Legion, he thought about what he should do countless times, but in the end he decided countless times to do as the demon said, because there was at least a little hope, instead of just waiting for the Primarch to be corrupted or killed.

Qin Xia didn't scold him anymore, but thought about the whole thing.

First of all, Horus has not rebelled yet, his life or death is uncertain, which is good news.

Secondly, Tzeentch drove Carlos to tell Abaddon that he wanted to capture Mortarion in exchange for Horus... Perhaps Tzeentch wanted to corrupt Mortarion himself.

Angron, Magnus, Mortarion, Fulgrim.

These four will be assigned to one of the four gods as the primarch in the Great Rebellion, and three of them will definitely not be able to rebel.

If the gods want a chess piece of their own, they have to work hard on other Primarchs or the remaining Primarchs who can be exploited.

As for why Tzeentch didn't just corrupt Horus.

Regardless of whether Horus would be corrupted in his waking state... the other gods would not let Horus belong only to Tzeentch. Either let Horus become the common choice of the gods, or let him die. This must be the agreement between the four gods.

All the gods get Horus, or no one gets Horus. From the perspective of chaos, this is harmful to others and not beneficial to oneself, but it is really very "chaotic".

"Come with me to save Horus." Qin Xia said.

"Are you going to be a fire-fighting master again? The Warmaster is in the hands of a Chaos God, a Chaos God!" Abaddon roared.

"Either you come with me." Qin Xia clenched his right hand.

Abaddon was lifted up by psychic energy, and the armor on his body creaked under the pressure of psychic energy.

"Or I will kill you first and then save Horus."
