Chapter 90 Flying to France

Chapter 90 Flying to France
"Hurry! Get all these pumpkins onto the transport plane!" Visser ordered his entourage.

"Sir, the superiors want high-quality vegetables as gifts." A subordinate reminded in a low voice.

"Isn't pumpkin a vegetable? Or do you have a way to help me turn it into something else?" Visser asked the person next to him.

"Okay, guys over there! Get all the pumpkins onto the biggest plane! Quick!"

In the distance, a Heinkel 111 medium bomber, temporarily used for transport, was quietly parked on the airport.

He Chi and Montgomery looked at each other, nodded slightly, and each lifted a pumpkin and placed it on the mule cart.

An hour later, the bomber was in a makeshift cargo hold.

"Rodman, we are going to England, come with us." He Chi said to the guerrilla leader.

The man shook his head. "No, my hometown still needs me. I will fight the Germans here with real weapons!"

He Chi looked at the other party's determined eyes and felt regretful. In about half a year, the Germans would implement the "Velvet Glove" plan in the Netherlands, which would appear to be appeasing ordinary citizens but secretly suppress resistance organizations on a large scale. According to statistics, at least 2000 to 3000 resistance personnel were killed in the Netherlands during this period. If Rodman stayed here, he would really be in danger of death.

"Mr. 007, remember you promised me that you would give the Germans a big surprise." Rodman stretched out his hand.

"I will, you can look forward to it." He Chi also stretched out his hand in response and shook it vigorously.

After burying several people with pumpkins, Rodman drove away alone in a mule cart. Through the gap, He Chi saw the back of the man who looked like a farmer going to the countryside, and a strange emotion surged in his heart.

Every patriot is worthy of admiration!

The mule cart left, and the remaining three people buried their bodies in the pumpkin pile, and the cabin became completely dark.

"He, I'm a little scared. Where are we going?" A girl's voice came from behind a small pumpkin.

"We can hijack the plane on the way and then fly to England. There are no Germans there and it will be safe." He Chi replied under another pile of pumpkins.

"But I don't know anyone in the UK, and my mother doesn't even know where I've gone..."

"It's okay. Mr. Montgomery is a very important person. He will take care of you."

"what…"

"Ok?"

"What about you? Will you take care of me?" the girl mustered up the courage to ask in a trembling voice.

"I..." He Chi really wanted to say I will take care of you, but this seemed unrealistic. His copy this time has come to an end and he will soon return to the real world. The last time there was a gap of twenty years between the two copies. God knows if he can see the little girl again.

"I will try my best." He Chi could only use this ambiguous statement.

"So…"

Bang! There was a sound from the cabin door, and someone came in.

"Damn it! What do they think of our bombers? They make us waste fuel transporting vegetables to France. We are pilots, not truck drivers!" Someone complained in German as soon as he came in.

"Well, just treat it as a vacation. It is said that the army is doing a good job over there and has already fought near Paris. We are here on a mission to express our condolences." The person next to him continued.

"Condolences? There are about 200,000 people there. One plane to send condolences?"

"Politics! This is politics! Henderson, if you want to be promoted smoothly in the future, you must understand politics." The voice of a third person appeared.

"I'd rather drop bombs on the English Channel than think about bloody politics."

"You may be disappointed. The operation over there will be over soon, in just one or two days." A few people casually talked about some meaningless trivialities, and soon the roar of the plane engine drowned out all other sounds.

Henk 111 rose into the sky,
Guludong! The pumpkin in the corner of the warehouse rolled down.

The German sitting in the cargo hold picked up the pumpkin and wanted to put it back, but a hand suddenly reached out and covered his mouth, and then the sharp blade cut across his throat.

After a few seconds, the German stopped moving, and the whole process was silent.

He Chi shook off the blood on the blade, drew his pistol and rushed into the cab like a leopard.

"Don't move! You have been captured! Fly the plane to Britain immediately!" A pistol was pointed at the pilot's head.

Surprisingly, the two pilots didn't even think twice when they were blocked by weapons, and immediately stood up to resist, which caught He Chi off guard for a moment.

Bah!Bah!
Two gunshots rang out and blood splattered on the glass.

"Damn it! These Germans are crazy! How are we going to fly back?" Looking at the corpses on the ground, Montgomery spat and cursed in a low voice.

He Chi glanced at the dashboard, sighed, and took out the last gold coin from his hand.

"let me try."

After several tens of seconds, the Henk 111, which had suddenly dropped in the air, recovered its posture and flew forward steadily.

"He, if anyone tells me again that you are a sergeant in the army, I will shove a pistol up his ass!" Montgomery excitedly cursed, while the young Hepburn kept taking deep breaths, looking at He Chi with sparkling eyes.

"What should we do next? Should we fly directly to England?" the major general suggested.

"I'm afraid not." He Chi, who was already sitting in the driver's seat, motioned for them to look behind.

Two BF-109 fighter planes followed behind.

"K2, K2, are you okay there? Your altitude suddenly dropped!" A German voice came from the intercom.

He Chi picked up the communicator and responded in German, "There was a little trouble just now, but it's all right now."

"Okay, we will escort you to France, wish you safety!"

Then two BF-109s flew alongside Henkel 111, one on the left and one on the right.

He Chi turned off the communicator and shook his head. "Two fighters are escorting us. If we show any abnormal flight path, we will be shot down directly."

"What should we do then?" Hepburn asked worriedly.

He Chi glanced at the fuel gauge and said, "The fuel is fine. Let's follow them to France and find a chance to get rid of them!"

Three planes formed a formation and roared towards France. No one could tell that a traitor had appeared among them.

In Paris, France, a luxurious special train is running on the railway. In the carriage that can accommodate 60 people, only a man and a woman are sitting opposite each other.

The man was wearing a major general's uniform and was probably around forty years old, while the woman wore the rank of colonel and had beautiful long golden hair. She looked capable and elegant, and for a moment it was impossible to tell her age.

"Christine, Mr. de Gaulle seems to be moving in a mysterious way?" the man asked, staring at his former fiancée with a sinister look.

"I'm sorry, I haven't seen him much recently." The woman raised her hand gracefully and lit a cigarette.

The man frowned and used his hands to disperse the smoke in annoyance. "As an intelligence officer, you don't even know what your chief officer is doing?"

"I am not the only intelligence officer like this. For example, you, how is the talk between your Marshal and the Germans going? Do you know, Leon?" The woman responded sharply and in a sarcastic tone.
