Ji Jinchuan was just about to take a shower when the door of the room was pushed open and Shen Youran rushed in, holding disinfectant and cotton swabs in her hands, breathing slightly hard.

Shen Youran looked at the place where she had just bitten him. Blood mixed with her saliva flowed down his shoulder blade like an enchanting blood thread.

"Go take a shower first, and then I'll apply medicine on you."

Ji Jinchuan nodded and went into the bathroom.

Shen Youran sat on the edge of the bed waiting, listening to the sound of running water coming from the bathroom. She thought that she was too suspicious and she should believe in him, just as he believed in herself.

She came out of the bathroom and said, "Don't let the wound come into contact with water."

Shen Youran was relieved and went back to the room to wait. After a few minutes, Ji Jinchuan came out of the bathroom wrapped in a bath towel. After applying the medicine, there was a knock on the door. Shen Youran walked over to open the door. Aunt Wu was standing outside with a midnight snack in her hand: "Madam, I made two midnight snacks for you."

Shen Youran took it and said, "Go and have a rest."

After Aunt Wu left, Shen Youran closed the door and walked over with the midnight snack: "Come and eat."

Ji Jinchuan stood up and walked over. Neither of them had eaten anything that night, so they picked up their midnight snack and started eating.
