Su Han shuttled through the woods, eagerly searching for suitable materials.

His fingers gently brushed across the branches of varying thicknesses, carefully identifying their toughness and strength.

After finally selecting a few relatively straight and thick tree trunks, Su Han took a deep breath and held the base of the trunks tightly with both hands.

He planted his legs firmly on the ground and lifted himself up with all his strength. With a low groan, he pulled the tree up by the roots.

After dragging the tree trunks back to the grass by the stream, Su Han immediately returned to the woods to look for those flexible vines.

He bent down and searched patiently in the bushes. Every time he found a vine, he would pull it hard a few times to make sure it was firm.

Soon, he had collected a large bundle of vines. His arms were covered with tiny wounds cut by branches and leaves, and blood was oozing out, but he was completely unaware.

At the same time, Biyao sat up on the grass, looking at Su Han's busy figure, her heart full of emotion.

She looked around and found a bunch of unknown wild flowers not far away. The flowers were small and colorful.

Bi Yao stood up, her steps still a little unsteady. She held onto a tree trunk and slowly walked to the flowers. She squatted down and gently picked a few flowers.

Back at the stream, Biyao put the flowers aside and began to clean up the debris around her, picking up the pebbles, dead branches and leaves one by one to make more space for Su Han to build a home.

Su Han returned to the grass with the vine in his arms. Seeing Bi Yao helping him, a trace of heartache flashed in his eyes.

"Biyao, you haven't recovered yet, don't tire yourself out, sit down and rest."

Bi Yao smiled and shook her head: "I also want to help you share some of the burden, so that I can feel at ease."

Su Han had no choice but to speed up his movements.

He first placed several thick tree trunks firmly on the ground in a triangular structure, and then tied them tightly together with vines to serve as the frame of the residence.

Then, he placed some relatively thin branches on the frame to form the outline of the roof. During the construction process, Su Han accidentally cut his finger with a vine, and blood immediately gushed out.

Seeing this, Bi Yao hurried over and held Su Han's hand: "Does it hurt? Let me see."

Su Han smiled and comforted her: "It's a minor injury, it's nothing serious, don't worry."

After some effort, the general outline of the residence has been completed.

Su Han went to the woods and collected some large leaves, and spread them on the roof to shelter from the wind and rain.

Looking at the temporary residence that had taken shape, Su Han and Bi Yao both breathed a sigh of relief.

As night fell, the temperature in the valley began to drop. Su Han built a bonfire next to his residence, and the jumping flames dispelled the chill of the night.

Bi Yao took out some dry food from her package and handed it to Su Han.

The two of them ate dry food by the campfire in silence. Occasionally, their eyes met and they smiled at each other. At this moment, silence was better than words.

After finishing her meal, Bi Yao leaned on Su Han's shoulder, looked at the night sky, and said softly: "Su Han, after experiencing this war, I feel that the peace we have now is so precious."

Su Han gently stroked Biyao's hair and said softly: "Yes, no matter what happens in the future, I will always be by your side."

Late at night.

There were bursts of insect chirping and occasional calls of night birds in the valley. As Su Han listened to these sounds, his thoughts drifted back to that thrilling battle.

"Su Han, what are you thinking about?" (End of this chapter)
