Hearing the commotion outside, the six fairies also came out of the Immortal Cave. When they saw Sun Wukong arrive, they looked at each other in surprise.

Sun Wukong knew in a flash that the seven fairy maidens must have taken advantage of the Queen Mother of the West's troubles to escape to the mortal realm and commit evil deeds.

So he said, "You'd better send my master and junior brother out, otherwise I, Old Sun, will go to Yaochi and ask the Queen Mother of the West how she manages the female immortals."

"Great Sage!" Fairy Hongluo laughed, "It's a misunderstanding, all a misunderstanding."

As she spoke, Fairy Hongluo quickly called out to the other women, "What are you all standing there for? Don't you recognize the Great Sage Equaling Heaven?"

Upon hearing this, the women quickly stepped forward and bowed to Sun Wukong, saying, "Greetings, Great Sage."

Sun Wukong was confused about what the seven fairies wanted, so he put his golden cudgel on the ground and asked, "Didn't you hear me? Quickly send my master and junior brothers out."

“Very well, very well.” Fairy Hongluo replied repeatedly, “Great Sage, please calm down. We will invite Elder Tang and the others out now.”

After speaking, Fairy Hongluo told the four women in purple, green, yellow and white to go into the cave. Soon after, Tang Sanzang and his companions emerged from the cave with rosy cheeks.

Upon seeing Sun Wukong, Tang Sanzang immediately smiled and said, "Wukong, you're back."

Sun Wukong quickly stepped forward and carefully examined him. After confirming that it was indeed Tang Sanzang, he asked, "Master, are you alright?"

Then Fairy Hongluo said, "Elder Tang's journey to the Western Paradise to obtain the scriptures is a great act of merit that benefits all living beings. If we welcome him here and establish a good relationship with Elder Tang, we can also contribute to the merit."

Sun Wukong continued to press the issue, asking, "Then why did you lie to me that night?"

The Fairy Hongluo laughed and said, "Isn't it because I was afraid you would misunderstand, Great Sage? When we went to Wanfu Temple, the situation was very chaotic. If you knew that we took Tang Sanzang away, wouldn't you think we were monsters and beat us to death too?"

"Therefore, I had no choice but to resort to this desperate measure, deceiving the Great Sage, hoping to apologize to him upon his return." After saying this, Fairy Hongluo immediately knelt on the ground and kowtowed three times to Sun Wukong, saying, "Please forgive me, Great Sage."

At this moment, the other six fairies also knelt down to beg for forgiveness, each one delicate and pitiful.

Seeing this, Tang Sanzang couldn't bear it and stepped forward to say, "Wukong, since it's a misunderstanding, don't make things difficult for them."

Sun Wukong said, "Master, you're only beholden to someone who feeds you."

Tang Sanzang said helplessly, "But we've already eaten it, we can't expect your master to vomit it up again, can we?"

Pigsy said, “Brother Monkey, as the saying goes, a gentleman judges by his actions, not his intentions. Although the seven fairies deceived you, their intentions were good.”

The White Dragon and Sha Wujing also explained, and Sun Wukong rolled his eyes, but there was nothing he could do. He could only say to the seven fairies, "Since Master and your three junior brothers have pleaded for you, then we will spare you this time."

The seven fairies were overjoyed and quickly kowtowed, saying, "Thank you, Great Sage."

As the seven fairies stood up, Fairy Hongluo said, "Great Sage, we have prepared celestial wine, celestial fruits, and delicacies for you, just waiting for you to enjoy them."

Fairy Hongluo quickly smiled and said, "It's right in the cave. We'll serve it as soon as the Great Sage takes his seat."

The Crimson Fairy bowed and said, "Yes, Great Sage."

At this moment, in the cave dwelling nearby, Fairy Red Robe took out a gourd of elixirs from her sleeve and handed it to Fairy Yellow Robe, saying, "Sister Huang Jin, put this Hundred-Day Intoxication into those wine pots."

The fairy in yellow said, "Elder sister, I'm afraid this Hundred-Day Intoxication won't be very effective against the Great Sage Equaling Heaven."

Next, the White Dragon Horse and Sandy passed out drunk, followed by Pigsy, who even got up and took a couple of steps before collapsing to the ground in a blur.

The cave was in complete disarray, with unfinished food piled on the table. Tang Sanzang, the White Dragon Horse, and the other two were all drunk and unconscious, while Pigsy's snoring echoed throughout the cave.

The scene from yesterday immediately flashed through Sun Wukong's mind. The next moment, he suddenly stood up and looked around, only to find the cave empty and the seven fairies nowhere to be seen.

Sun Wukong searched the cave, but not only were the seven fairies gone, but not a single one of the little demons he had seen in the cave that day was also missing.

"Hmph." Sun Wukong said, "What should we do? Without the travel permit, we can't go to Mount Ling."

Sha Wujing said, "Brother, you can travel 108,000 li in a single somersault. Could you return to Chang'an and ask the Tang Emperor to grant you another ticket?"

Sun Wukong glared at Sha Wujing and said, "The travel permit can be reopened, but what about the brocade cassock? It was a gift from Guanyin Bodhisattva. Master certainly cannot just give it up. We must get it back."

At this point, Sun Wukong looked at the three of them with a resentful expression and said, "I'm not trying to be mean, but haven't you suffered enough along the way? Didn't you try to persuade Master not to trust outsiders so easily while I was away?"

Pigsy said, "Brother, don't talk about me. When you heard people talking about the celestial wine, celestial fruits, and delicacies yesterday, you were even happier than us!"

Sun Wukong immediately lost his confidence and, unusually, did not reprimand Zhu Bajie.
