Red Dragon has magic

Chapter 487 An Immortal Touches My Head
The wings fluttered in the wind.
The teenage red dragon, clutching Lyon, was completely unaware that its sharp claws couldn't even pierce Lyon's skin. It sped towards the familiar crater, flying all the way to the castle in the middle of a lava lake surrounded by the crater.
Since he moved to the volcanic island in the shimmering sea outside Watchtower, he gave the castle to the brass dragon. Soon after, the brass dragon took it there. In the end, the castle was left behind and ended up in the hands of this young red dragon in front of us.
He had only gone out for a walk to clear his head and was planning to visit his old place when he was kidnapped by a teenage red dragon on his way back. What a coincidence!
Lyon looked around nostalgically. Although so many years had passed and the house had changed hands several times, he could still see familiar sights, such as that stone table. Suddenly, he noticed that the young red dragon was staring at him fiercely.
“The castle is surrounded by lava, fire elementals, and lava bats and smoke bats roaming everywhere. You have no chance of escaping,” the teenage red dragon grinned. “My name is Matilda, and from now on, I am your master. I want you to teach me how to wield a sword.”
“If you want me to teach you how to wield a sword, you should respectfully call me teacher, not make me call you master,” Leon said with a laugh.
When Matilda heard Leon's words, she narrowed her eyes slightly, as if she were pondering a profound question. After a long while, she raised her paw and scratched her head in confusion.
Although Lyon is not yet an adult, he is already a father of three and has accomplished many great things over the decades, which makes him appear prematurely aged.
He looked at the teenage Red Dragon as if he were a child, a complete idiot, and said, "Besides, aren't you Red Dragon? Why are you learning to wield a sword?"
He certainly knew why a red dragon wanted to learn how to wield a sword; it was undoubtedly influenced by him.
“Teach me when I tell you to, stop with all this nonsense!” Matilda stretched her neck and brought the huge dragon head close to Lyon’s face, the smell of sulfur and pumice filling the air. “Or do you want to die? I can mercifully grant your wish.”
“Let me guess why…” Leon said calmly, a slight smile playing on his lips, “You’re imitating the Sword of the Cliff, aren’t you?”
"Oh, I didn't know you knew about the Sword of the Cliff." A hint of surprise flashed in Matilda's eyes. "What else do you know?"
Lyon didn't answer immediately. Instead, he slowly walked to the stone table and sat down, gently stroking the surface as if he had returned to the past. He used to love sitting at the stone table with Tassera, playing cards and chess. He said, "I also know that this is where he used to live."
“Yes, that’s right, this is where he used to live.” A hint of pride flashed in Matilda’s eyes. “I fought a fierce battle with a fully grown blue dragon to take this place.”
“I don’t believe you can beat a fully grown blue dragon,” Lyon said skeptically. “How could a juvenile red dragon like you possibly defeat a fully grown blue dragon? Especially since blue dragons often have a family behind them. Offending one blue dragon means offending a whole group of blue dragons… You must have played some trick.”
Matilda wrinkled her nose, pulled a sword from the corner, and because dragon claws are not suitable for gripping, making it difficult to use tools, write, or wield weapons accurately, she could only raise it somewhat awkwardly, saying, "Because I am a follower of His Majesty Lyon, he dares not offend the great His Majesty Lyon."
“Your Majesty Lyon?” Lyon paused slightly, then repeated.
"You know the Sword of the Cliff, but not His Majesty Leon?" Matilda glanced at Leon with disdain and said, "The Sword of the Cliff was His Majesty Leon's nickname before he became the Dragon God. He also had the titles Wind Disaster, Annihilation Wind, Three-Headed Dragon, Demon Slayer, Giant Dragon, and Conqueror of the Sea..."
"What Dragon God? He's just a powerful red dragon," Leon sighed. After all, he had gone out to clear his head because he could never become a Dragon God and get the cheat reward.
"The Dragon God acknowledged by both Tiamat and His Majesty Bahamut, how could it be fake?" Matilda's eyes widened as she stated matter-of-factly, "How could a mere powerful red dragon kill the Fire God's offspring? How could it, in the bloody battlefield, transform and drive the demons out of Aphrodite? And how could it ultimately defeat the Ocean Goddess?"
“It is said that His Majesty Lyon’s mother had no mate and became pregnant by stepping on a huge claw mark. On the day His Majesty Lyon hatched, there were strange phenomena in the sky, and a huge fireball appeared.” Matilda swallowed and organized her words. “His Majesty Lyon was different from other dragons from birth. As soon as he was born, he shouted that he was so-and-so, that he was Lyon Ansult, and that he would become the Dragon God in the future.”
“Although His Majesty Lyon was remarkable, his mother was an utterly foolish dragon who, out of fear, drove the young His Majesty Lyon out of her nest.” Matilda nodded. “The young His Majesty Lyon was separated from his family and, in order to survive, he pulled a sword from the river, thus beginning his legendary life.”
Matilda spoke eloquently, growing more and more excited with each word, spittle flying from her lips, her front paws gesturing incessantly, as if she were right there in the midst of that legendary tale. Leon swore he had never publicized it like that before; heaven knows how it had become. His naturally carefree nature caused him to burst into laughter, laughing so hard he nearly cried.
"What are you laughing at?" Matilda's expression changed instantly, and she exhaled two puffs of hot air from her nostrils.
"It's nothing, you can continue," Leon said, waving his hand as he suppressed a laugh.
"How dare you laugh at His Majesty Lyon? I think you're tired of living!" The red dragons were all short-tempered and could explode at any moment. Matilda's expression turned ferocious in an instant. With a swipe of her claws, she grabbed Lyon's foot and threw him into the lava lake.
She can catch one human being, so she can catch two, three, or even more; it's not worth mentioning at all.
Matilda watched Leon slowly sink into the lava and sneered, "That's so funny. You can laugh your fill after you die."
It was a scalding pool of lava, not a pool of water. Matilda didn't believe a human could survive falling into a lava pool, so she just threw the person in and left, wondering where to find another human who could wield a sword. Suddenly, she felt the entire lava lake tremble.
Matilda was startled and ran to the balcony. There she saw a prehistoric beast crawling out of the churning lava—a colossal red dragon.
The colossal red dragon slowly flapped its wings. The movement seemed slow and weak, and by all accounts it shouldn't have been able to fly. Yet, it did. Then, it conjured a forty-meter-long giant sword out of thin air and said, "Didn't you want to teach me how to wield a sword?"
Matilda, seeing the colossal red dragon wielding a giant sword, quickly realized what was happening, prostrated herself on the ground, and cried out in a trembling voice, "Your Majesty Lyon."
Looking at the teenage red dragon, Leon found today's experience quite amusing, and his previously bad mood improved. He said, "Come closer to me. Lower your head."
Matilda dared not disobey in the slightest, and hurriedly and cautiously approached Lyon, then slowly lowered her head, her body trembling slightly, showing her inner awe and nervousness.
Leon raised his paw and gently placed it on the head of the teenage red dragon... He was already capable of transmitting skills, and with his mastery of the Eight-Nine Arcane Arts, transmitting techniques was no problem for him either.
Matilda jolted, feeling as if something had inexplicably appeared in her head—a feeling that could only be understood intuitively. She cleverly said, "Teacher."
"Don't call me teacher." Leon didn't want to take on any more students or cause any more trouble.
Matilda shook her head and said, "I will never forget your kindness and your favor."
“What favor or kindness?” Lyon said. “You just don’t cause trouble or involve me!”
Matilda just kept saying thank you.
Leon raised his paw and pointed it at Matilda, saying, "You red dragon, you're irritable and easily angered. No matter how much trouble you cause, you're not allowed to say you're my student. If you utter even half a word, I'll know, and I'll skin you alive, grind your bones to dust, burn your soul to ashes, and ensure you never rise again!"
Matilda trembled with fright and quickly said, "I would never dare to mention the word 'teacher,' I will only say that it is something I know myself."
Lyon nodded in satisfaction, smiled, and then flapped his wings sharply, creating a gust of wind as he soared into the sky.
It wasn't just a short trip; I never imagined he had followers. Lyon smiled, soaring higher and higher, ready to see more places.
