Even if your inner merits are enough to cover the heaven and earth, to those outside the heaven and earth, you still do not have any merits at all.
However, for monks, inner merit is much more important than outer merit.
If in the future your cultivation can be comparable to Pangu and the way of heaven, then you will be able to condense the external merits by yourself, but the internal merits are difficult to obtain from others except yourself.
Every thought without hesitation is a merit, just like the demon ancestor Rāhu, whose nature is to destroy the heaven and earth. If he can really destroy the East and the West together, then he will create an unprecedented inner merit.
Such profound merits are enough to push him into a realm that transcends everything, and even enable him to be on par with Pangu, so it is not impossible for him to ascend to heaven in one step."
At this point, Zhunti sighed and said, "But it is so difficult to do this. When you practice inner virtue, there will naturally be disasters to hinder your path. The more your nature hinders others, the greater the disaster will be.
The nature of the demon ancestor Luohou is to force everyone to be his enemy. Even if others don't want to kill him, they have to come. After all, who is willing to sacrifice themselves to achieve the merits of others? "
Zhunti spoke without hiding anything, but told everyone he knew. It was not known whether he was happy to see that Guangchengzi had realized the true meaning of Nirvana, so his attitude towards him was very gentle.
Guangchengzi was also greatly shocked when he heard these words. Zhunti's words could be said to have directly pointed to the true meaning of the great Dao. He used the simplest and most plain words to tell the most profound and mysterious truth, which completely opened a door to an unknown world for him.

After hearing this, Guang Chengzi said hurriedly: "A mountain is not famous for its height, but for the immortals living there; a river is not famous for its depth, but for the dragons living there. This cave is indeed ordinary, but because of the presence of my uncle, it has become a place of great power in the wilderness."

The reason why people have troubles is because they have desires, and when desires are satisfied, people will feel happy.
In this tranquility, people no longer have worries and desires. Having no desires is equivalent to having desires satisfied at all times, and happiness will appear at all times.
Guangchengzi felt from the bottom of his heart what great bliss was, which made him linger and wish he could sink in the paradise forever.
