Harry returns from Hogwarts Legacy
Chapter 316 Give him a job!
Chapter 316 Give him a job!
Only after being reminded by Vivi did Papiyas remember his status as a school board member.
Yes, I am a member of the school board!
As a member of the school board, my power is limitless!
Wouldn't it be easy to get a student transferred into Hogwarts?
“Then it’s decided!” Papbi puffed out his chest, making Cassandra grit her teeth in exasperation. “I, the great Papbi Sweeting, the head of the school board, have decided to admit Anne Salle as a transfer student into the fifth year of Hogwarts!”
“You make it sound so easy,” Cassandra sighed softly. “I’m just wondering how the Sorting Hat will react when it sees Anne at the start of the new school term.”
Harry only thought about it for a moment before he felt like he was about to break down.
Sorting Hat: Are you treating the old hat like a Frenchman?
"Hahaha..." Vivi laughed heartily, recalling how the Sorting Hat had often complained about it in her mind back then.
Starting with Harry—yes, the Sorting Hat even told Vivi that at first it was wondering if there was something wrong with Hogwarts, why would someone be sorted into two houses.
After being denied by Dumbledore, he wondered several times if he had a mental problem.
Anyway...
That hat was pretty bad.
“Well…” Vivi stood up and said, “I’m going to take a shower first—do you want to come with me?”
“Me too, I want to come too!” Papi said, raising her hand.
"Aren't you going back to sleep?" Vivi asked, raising an eyebrow.
Papi mustered her courage, shook her head, and said, "I don't want to go back! You two are too cunning—I want to enter the adult world too, I don't care!"
Vivi didn't speak, but glanced at Cassandra.
The meaning is simple: it's up to you whether Papi stays or leaves.
Actually, Cassandra didn't really want Papiyas to stay at first, but Vivi's look instantly triggered Cassandra's rebellious spirit.
Okay, so you're trying to shift the blame onto me, right? You want me to be the bad guy and reject Pappy, right?
Then I'll just do as you wish!
I'm determined to keep Pappy here with us!
“Stay,” Cassandra said, arms crossed. “We have enough space here for Papi… Of course, if anyone else wants to come in, that won’t work.”
She made it very clear that she would only accept Papiyas at most, but if it were Anne...
Beat me!
"Yay!" Papi cheered, craning her little head to look into the bathroom. "So what are we going to do? Shall I shower with you, Vivi?"
“Oh, Papi.” Vivi shook her head with a smile. “No, you’re with the three of us.”
"You, the three of you?" Papbi was prepared, but still didn't understand what Vivi was referring to.
But Harry was already biting his lip, trying to suppress his smug smile.
"Go ahead and laugh, you little rascal." Vivi rolled her eyes. "I can already see your lips practically twitching to the sky!"
"Huh? Really?" Harry opened his mouth, but it was too late; once he opened his mouth, he couldn't hold it in any longer.
His mouth was stretched so wide it looked like a lotus flower.
It should be said that Harry, after having the Philosopher's Stone unsealed, not only improved his magical skills—or, to put it more politely, his magical skills, but also became incredibly strong—but also became exceptionally powerful in terms of physical abilities.
Despite being outnumbered three to one, she still managed to gain the upper hand, and even the usually strong-willed Vivi couldn't help but cry and beg for mercy.
"You little bastard..."
Weak and listless, Vivi reached out and punched Harry in the chest.
“I still prefer hearing you call me Dad.” Harry grinned mischievously and pinched Vivi’s cheek. To be honest, it didn’t feel bad at all.
"Okay, Daddy~" Vivi said in a sweet voice, "Go to sleep, I'm so tired..."
"Go to sleep, go to sleep." Harry lay on the bed, with Cassandra already asleep on his left, Vivi looking at him with love on his right, and Papiyas sleeping standing up above him.
clack.
Pappy's saliva landed on Harry's face.
"Can't you go lie down and sleep!" Harry couldn't hold back any longer and slapped Pappy hard on the bottom.
"Ouch!" Papi cried out in pain. "Fine, fine, I'll lie down and sleep now—I'm really scared of you."
……
The next morning, Harry got out of bed feeling refreshed.
"The magic stone is really a wonderful thing," he thought to himself. He glanced back at the three beautiful women still sleeping on the bed, stretched, and walked out of the room.
"Good morning," Harry greeted his friends.
"Good morning, Harry," Ron and Hermione waved together.
Ron added, "By the way, Harry, Seamus and Neville wrote to me saying they're ready to leave anytime. What do you think?"
“Let them come to the Isle of Wight.” Harry picked at his ear. “It’s not like the wizarding world doesn’t have transportation to the Isle of Wight. They can just take the Knight Bus… But I need to warn you, this bus… is a bit…”
As he spoke, Harry tapped his head with his finger.
Ron understood what Harry meant; he had actually ridden that train before.
“Well, I’ll write to them now,” Ron said. “Let me think… how should I write it? Invite them to come to the Isle of Wight… yeah, that’s it.”
Ron received a reply to his letter quickly, and that afternoon, Seamus and Neville took the Knight Bus to the Isle of Wight.
“I think this is really a great summer vacation,” Simon said excitedly. “Being able to come to such a beautiful place is definitely worth the trip.”
“I think so too,” Neville said. “But my grandma said she’ll be coming over tomorrow to check if I’m slacking off…”
He looked dejected, as if he really didn't want his grandmother to come and supervise him.
Harry did know that Neville's grandmother, Mrs. Augusta, was a very strict grandmother.
Moreover, her spellcasting skills were also very high, not much worse than Professor McGonagall's.
At home, she was very strict with Neville. In fact, it could be said that Neville's timid nature at first was partly due to the suppression he received from Madam Augusta.
“It’s always good that someone cares,” Harry could only comfort Neville, since he couldn’t possibly send Madam Augusta back. “Don’t worry, we’ll just try to stay out of her sight.”
“Alright,” Neville said, pulling several pots of biting cabbage from the purse Harry had given him. “Harry, look, these are all things I planted… not just biting cabbage, but also some devil vines and some aggressive plants. These things can definitely help us in battle.” The pots of biting cabbage grinned, giving a malicious smile to those around them.
“They seem quite lively,” Harry affirmed. “If you can train an entire army of biting cabbages, most dark wizards won’t be able to beat you.”
“Really?” Neville asked, grinning.
“There are no bad plants, only wizards who don’t know how to use them,” Harry said, spreading his hands.
Almost everyone from the Duel Hut had arrived, including Megan from Hufflepuff and Cho Chang from Ravenclaw, who were also on the Isle of Wight.
In Harry's opinion, Megan didn't seem to have any romantic feelings for Cedric. At least she and Cho Chang seemed to be having a very pleasant conversation, not at all like rivals meeting.
This relieved him, even though Hermione had been worried about it before.
"Are you a Seresian?" Vivi asked Zhang Qiu.
"How did you know I'm from Seres?" Zhang Qiu asked curiously.
“Because of your appearance, and… well, your demeanor.” Vivi waved her hand and said, “If you’re Japanese, you value small details over big ones, so your overall demeanor appears gloomy; if you’re Seres, you value righteousness over small details, so you look more honest and kind.”
"What about the Koreans?" Harry interjected from the side.
"Koreans lack both a sense of righteousness and a sense of propriety, so their overall demeanor appears quite volatile," Vivi commented aptly.
I don't know if this counts as discrimination, but Vivi certainly doesn't think so.
"You know Seres too, Miss Grindelwald?" Zhang Qiu approached Vivi. "It seems you know a lot about Asia?"
"Where are you from?" Vivi asked in fluent Beijing dialect.
Harry doesn't understand Chinese, but he can tell that Vivi seems to be asking Cho Chang something.
“From the Netherlands,” Zhang Qiu replied.
“Eh, you’re from the Netherlands?” Vivi switched to fluent Dutch.
"You speak Dutch too?!" Zhang Qiu's eyes lit up; she hadn't heard authentic Dutch in a long time.
"I can say a little bit about everything," Vivi replied with a smile.
“The more you know, the more exciting life becomes,” Harry chimed in. “By the way, we plan to stay here until the end of August, then take the Knight Bus from the Isle of Wight to King’s Cross Station. What about you?”
“We’re fine,” Megan said, raising her hand. “I’ve already told Mom we’ll be staying on the Isle of Wight a few more days… Mom’s very reassured; she knows you’re all here.”
“Me too,” Seamus said. “My mother didn’t object to my coming to the Isle of Wight. She also thought I did need some special training… She saw the news, but she thought Dumbledore’s concerns might be valid. She doesn’t really believe the Ministry of Magic’s nonsense.”
“Unfortunately,” Megan sighed. “My mother is hesitant about this, after all, it was information released by the Ministry of Magic… She also thinks Dumbledore might be too old, but she still insists that even if Voldemort doesn’t return, it is sufficient and necessary for me to learn some advanced spell application skills.”
“It seems your mother is quite farsighted,” Harry complimented.
“My grandmother believed Dumbledore,” Neville said succinctly. “She didn’t believe anything the Ministry of Magic said; she thought—well, you should take what the Ministry of Magic says the opposite of what it says.”
“She’s right, that’s the first law of political science,” Hermione said from the side.
"The First Law of Political Science?" Megan and Cho Chang looked at Hermione, wondering what she meant.
“Oh.” Hermione put her hand down. “Only news that is officially denied is credible.”
Two owls flashed through Megan and Zhang Qiu's minds.
No, what kind of law is this?
However, they didn't think too much about it and followed Harry to the second floor of the hotel.
They had completely booked the second floor of the hotel on the wizard's side. Inside the side door of the conference room, there was a room that looked like a training ground for the Room of Requirement.
However, since it's not a room that grants every wish, the training ground is rather rudimentary.
"Actually, there aren't any special spells worth learning. What we need to do now is to master the spells we already have," Harry said simply. "Find the spells you're good at and practice them to the extreme. That's what we need to do."
"So, what are the spells we're good at?" Zhang Qiu asked, raising her hand. This was her first time participating in the Duel Hut.
Due to the three-way championship held last year, Duel Hut has temporarily stopped recruiting new members.
Zhang Qiu only started dating Cedric this year, so Cedric just barely had time to introduce her to the family.
“That’s a good question.” Harry clapped his hands. “However, only a person knows what spells they are best at, and no one else can help you with that.”
He changed the subject.
"Perhaps we can give an example. For instance, as everyone knows, Seamus is particularly skilled in explosion-type spells. In fact, when he was a first-year student, he could even cause an explosion when he used the Levitation Charm... So, we can tentatively conclude that Seamus's strength lies in the explosion category."
"Let's give it a try, just as we expected, Simo—show everyone the results of your latest training."
The meaning is already very clear.
Simo, give him a job!
Upon hearing this, Seamus raised his wand, and a thunderous explosion shot out from the tip of the wand, directly hitting the training dummy not far away.
"Boom!"
With a deafening roar and a blinding flash, the training dummy was blasted to ashes by Seamus's spell.
Fortunately, the hotel on the magic side was equipped with some commonly used spells, so the explosion was completely undetectable to outsiders, thus preventing a riot.
It might not be fair to call it a riot, but if it really alarmed Muggles, Seamus would definitely be in deep trouble and would have to be taken back to the Ministry of Magic for a talk.
"It seems your spellcasting skills have improved quite a bit, Seamus," Hermione said enviously from behind.
For so long, Hermione had not been able to find a spell that suited her as well as the Explosion Curse did for Seamus.
But then again, Hermione is the kind of person who's pretty good at everything. She doesn't have any particularly outstanding spells, but she knows a little bit of everything.
Her actual combat skills are beyond terrible; Ron could easily pin her to the ground and beat her to a pulp.
"Cool!" Zhang Qiu exclaimed, looking at the training dummy reduced to dust. "Is this the power of the talent spell? It's really amazing..."
“Well then,” Harry gestured for Seamus to put away his wand, then turned to ask, “Zhang, do you have any spells you’re good at?”
