Harry returns from Hogwarts Legacy

Chapter 35 Sadness and Death

Chapter 35 Sadness and Death

Because of Principal Black's ban, Harry didn't know much about Quidditch.

Of course, he was looking forward to Wood's teaching.

After Wood finished introducing the rules of Quidditch, Harry suddenly asked, "Well, has anyone ever been killed in a game? I mean, you see, when we play Quidditch, we fly so high, and we have to dodge the bludgers from time to time..."

He tried his best to act like an amateur.

"How could that be?" Wood showed a surprised expression. "Quidditch can at most break your jaw or break your arms and legs. Even if you fall, the field has been cast with protective magic, which is enough to protect you - at least you won't fall to your death."

Harry was sure that this was Black's conspiracy.

After performing a dive and emergency stop, as well as various difficult moves for Wood, Wood's expression changed from doubt about Harry's flying ability at the beginning, to admiration in the middle, and finally to certainty.

"This year's Quidditch will definitely have our names engraved on it." Wood said happily, "You know, I once saw your father's name on the Quidditch trophy, James Potter, right? He is the Gryffindor Chaser."

"I heard from Hagrid that my dad was great at Quidditch," said Harry.

"That's right, your ability to fly is inherited from your blood." Wood said firmly, "Then let our little Mr. Potter lead us to victory!"

Wood only taught Harry the rules of Quidditch and did not involve him in training.

In his opinion, he was willing to believe a genius like Harry who could ride a broom around the yard even though he couldn't walk.

The courses at Hogwarts were not intense, at least Harry always had some free time.

Never before had a class made Harry feel so bored. He was really fed up with Professor Quirrell's stuttering and lack of focus.

This is the worst professor ever, he thought.

Sitting at the Gryffindor table, Harry chewed his sandwich bit by bit, thinking about going to the crypt under the Defense Against the Dark Arts classroom when he had no classes.

Just as he was lost in thought, Hermione opposite him suddenly exclaimed.

"Oh my god, Harry, Ron!"

She seemed to have discovered a new world, pulling Harry and Ron along, and slapping the thick book with one of her little hands.

"What's wrong?" Ron asked confused.

Could there be some treasure hidden in this book? Otherwise, why would Hermione be so surprised and excited?

"I've been looking for it for more than half a month since I heard about it from Hagrid!" Hermione pressed her hand on the book and whispered to the two of them, "Look, I finally found it here - there's an article that records the deeds of Harry Potter. Let me take a look... Ron, who is Gareth Weasley to you?"

"My great-grandfather." Ron shrugged.

Harry, who was originally not interested in Hermione's 'great discovery', suddenly raised his head.

Good girl, you are just in time.

"Your great-grandfather? Ronald..." Hermione's eyes widened, "You never told me that you had such a great-grandfather."

"I don't know much about him, actually." Ron spread his hands. Hermione gave Ron a subtle look and lowered her head to search the article again.

Harry wanted to ask about Gareth's current situation, but he was a little worried and didn't know how to start.

I'm not worried about the way to ask the question, but I'm afraid of hearing bad news.

"Look here, Harry." Hermione pointed to a piece of text and said to Harry with a smile: "I finally know why Peeves is so afraid of you! It seems that he thinks you are that Harry! Look, he created a spell to deal with Peeves-"

"How do you know Peeves is afraid of Harry?" Ron asked curiously.

"Is that even necessary, Ron?" Hermione rolled her eyes. "Oh my God, didn't you notice that when we were with Harry, we were never teased by Peeves? And on the first day of school, when Harry took out his wand and pointed it at Peeves, the guy was so scared that he ran away. He must have mistaken Harry for that person!"

"Cool." Ron also became interested. "Can you find out what the spell is? If we learn it, we won't have to be afraid of Peeves anymore."

"I will find it." Hermione's little face showed a determined expression as if she was standing on the dragon's throne.

Harry opened his mouth. He actually wanted to tell Hermione the spell.

"He's amazing," Hermione exclaimed. "It says here that he invented this spell in his third year - God, I find it difficult to learn spells now."

"See what else?" Ron crawled under the table and sat next to Hermione, and went to see with him.

"Look, here." Hermione pointed to another section and said, "I can't believe that Ron, the ancestor of the Weasley family, is actually a good friend of the ancestor of the Malfoy family? They were also comrades-in-arms in fighting against the Flaming Ash Snakes..."

"How is that possible?" Ron's nose turned red. "How could my great-grandfather be related to the Malfoy family? Don't talk nonsense!"

"Look for yourself!" Hermione whispered, and pushed the book hard in front of Ron, pointing to the text and said, "Look, Gareth Weasley, Pappy Sweeting, Cassandra Malfoy, these are the comrades who suppressed the Flaming Grey Snakes and quelled the goblin rebellion with Harry..."

Ron leaned over to take a look, and sure enough, the words on it were just as Hermione had said.

His face turned even redder and he muttered to himself that the article must be fake. How could a Weasley be friends with Malfoy?
"Can the history recorded in books be false?" Hermione narrowed her eyes.

"I don't believe it anyway." Ron said stubbornly.

Seeing the two of them staring at each other and refusing to give in, Harry suddenly said, "Why don't you go ask the person involved? I mean, your great-grandfather, Mr. Gareth Weasley."

"My great-grandfather died before I was born," Ron whispered. "Even Bill and Charlie never met him. He didn't even leave a portrait."

Harry felt a sudden pang in his heart.

"Sorry, Ron, sorry..." he muttered.

Is Gareth dead? Then...are Sebastian and Omines also...

And Cassandra and Valatea, will they also...

Harry was in a state of confusion. When he heard the news of his old friend's death, his mood suddenly became very bad for no reason.
