Harry returns from Hogwarts Legacy
Chapter 63 Draco and the Diary
Chapter 63 Draco and the Diary (Seeking follow-up reading)
It is foreseeable that Mr. Dawima can only survive in this world in the form of a Flobberworm in the future.
Harry didn't think he was cruel. Compared to the people killed by Dawima listed on the wanted poster, this was already a very merciful punishment.
But Harry didn't pay attention when he passed by and stepped on the Flobberworm.
Harry returned to the restaurant and waited in the bathroom until the aging potion wore off. He changed his clothes and sat in front of Ron. Ron then raised his head belatedly.
"Hey, buddy," Ron greeted. "What took you so long?"
"My stomach is not feeling well," said Harry. "I think we should go back. Mr. Granger might be waiting outside anxiously."
"Okay." Ron then put his precious wand in his pocket.
When Harry walked out of the Leaky Cauldron, he saw Mr. Granger, who was in high spirits.
"Uncle Granger," he and Ron greeted.
"Little ones." Mr. Granger opened his arms and gave each of them a hug with a smile. "Come on, let's go to Harrods to buy some things and then go home."
It can be seen that Mr. Granger was really happy. Harry and Ron each got a donut, which was said to be from an American chain brand.
Unable to resist Mr. Granger's enthusiasm, Harry and Ron decided to stay at Granger's house for another night.
Uncle Granger promised to take them back early tomorrow morning.
Ron, who got his new wand, was eager to try it out and wanted to compete with Hermione, but since young wizards were not allowed to cast spells outside of school, he could only think about it.
"Really? There's no such rule at home." Ron muttered.
"Because we are in a Muggle neighborhood," said Hermione. "Just think about it. With just one spell, the Ministry of Magic can pinpoint our home and know who is casting the spell without even having to identify it. Let me see, who in this little wizard's family can cast spells? Oh, it's Hermione!"
After staying at Granger's house for another night, Mr. Granger drove them to the Leaky Cauldron early the next morning.
The two took the express back to Hogwarts. As it was a holiday, the castle was a little deserted with only a few students reading in the hall.
There were only two of them left in the dormitory, and the room was already filled with Christmas presents.
"Look, this is a sweater my mother knitted."
Ron took out his share of the gifts and held up the sweater with a big "R" embroidered on the chest.
"My mother knitted it. I heard Percy, Fred, and George all have some, and you and Hermione have some too," Ron said. "But you and Hermione both have 'H'. The slightly larger ones are Hermione's clothes, and yours are slightly smaller."
Girls' bodies always develop earlier than boys', not to mention that Hermione is a year older than them.
Harry took the gift from Ron without saying a word and put on the blue sweater.
"It's quite warm." Harry said with a smile: "I like this sweater very much."
He stretched his body, looked down and saw a thin gift.
It was given to him by Aunt Petunia.
"What is this?" Ron asked.
Harry shrugged and said to Ron, "It was given by my aunt. I don't know what it is."
He opened the gift and took out some photos.
The person above was actually his mother, Lily.
"Oh, it's my mother." Harry said in surprise. He twisted it and said, "There are five in total. They are all about my mother."
Ron came over, looked at the photo, and exclaimed sincerely: "Your mother is so beautiful."
"Who said it wasn't?" Harry continued to look through the books with a smile, and had already decided in his mind what gift to give to his aunt.
Just give me some beauty potions for the sake of these photos, he thought.
Ron suddenly pointed at a photo and exclaimed, "Ah, this... why does this person look so familiar?" Harry looked down and saw that the girl in the photo was hugging a boy's arm. Her warm smile covered up the slight gloom on the boy's face.
The young man had greasy black hair and wore a loose black robe...
"It's Professor Snape." Harry confirmed it immediately and said to Ron, "Look, I told you that Professor Snape and my parents are good friends. I think I know what kind of gift I should give to Professor Snape."
"What?" Ron asked.
"That's it." Harry shrugged, pulled an envelope out of the drawer and stuffed the photo in it.
"Hedwig?" said Harry. "Take this picture to Professor Snape for me."
After sending Hedwig away, Harry went through the gifts, including a flute given to him by Hagrid, biscuits given to him by the Weasley twins, a stimulating potion and some potion materials given to him by Miss Farley, and a large box of horseshoe-shaped chocolates given by Hermione...
He also took out a piece of silvery fabric from the gift, which looked like clothes woven from water.
"Wow, this is... an Invisibility Cloak?" said Harry, raising an eyebrow.
He had seen such a dress before; Cassandra had one.
"Look, there's a piece of paper falling out." Ron suddenly pointed under the clothes.
Harry put the Invisibility Cloak aside and picked up the letter.
In a long, thin, circle-within-circle handwriting he had never seen before, the following words were written on it:
"Your father left this to me before he died. Now I should return it to you. Please use it well. I sincerely wish you a Merry Christmas."
"Who's from this?" Harry turned the note over puzzledly. There was no signature on it.
"Maybe he's your father's friend." Ron looked at the invisibility cloak with some envy: "If I can get a good thing like this, I would rather have nothing."
Harry held the note and fell into deep thought. He always felt that he seemed to have seen such handwriting somewhere before.
……
It was not only Harry and his friends who received gifts on Christmas. Draco, who was far away at Malfoy Manor, also received his own Christmas present.
The young master's life was always plain and boring. Just as he boasted, his father could buy him the best, and the Christmas gifts he received every year were also the best among his peers.
But Draco was not as obsessed with gifts as Dudley. He spent an afternoon sorting the gifts and placed them in the small study opposite.
This was also the first time he had visited this small study room, which was said to have been owned by a predecessor in the past.
After he put the gift away, he heard a snap.
A notebook fell from somewhere and landed right behind him.
Draco picked up the notebook and examined it carefully.
This notebook is a bit old, but not out of date. The cover, which still looks like brand new, shines brightly under the light, indicating the extraordinary nature of this notebook.
Draco fell in love with the notebook almost instantly. He asked the house-elf to bring him a quill and ink, and sat at the desk nearby, intending to sign his name in the notebook.
"Draco Malfoy"
A strange thing happened. He found that the words he wrote were gradually seeping into the paper.
What's going on? Draco stopped writing and scratched his hair in confusion.
I watched the ink soak into the paper and seemed to be absorbed by the notebook.
After a while, Draco's handwriting disappeared, replaced by a line of beautiful handwriting.
"Hello, I'm Cassandra Malfoy."
