Chapter 64: Lao Deng, the Blessing Potion Explodes
Chapter 64: Lao Deng, the Blessing Potion Explodes
Cassandra Malfoy?
Draco thought of the ancestor his father had told him about a few days ago.
That’s not right. Didn’t she disappear?
"Are you really Cassandra?" Draco wrote in his notebook.
"Yes." The beautiful handwriting appeared again.
"But... why?" Draco wrote in confusion, "How did you suddenly appear and talk to me through the notebook? Is this an object you made with dark magic?"
"Magic is wonderful, isn't it?" the beautiful handwriting replied.
Below this line of writing, two more lines of words soon appeared: "Why not tell me about you, my junior, what is your relationship with Abraxas?"
"He was my grandfather, now dead," Draco wrote.
The words he wrote disappeared after a while, and he waited for a while until Draco became a little impatient, and then the beautiful handwriting appeared again.
"Oh, that's really unexpected..."
"Time is so cruel. When I left home, Abu was still a child."
Draco watched the handwriting disappear, and couldn't wait to write on it: "It seems that you are really my ancestor. I have heard a lot about your deeds of suppressing the goblin rebellion and destroying the Fire Ash Snake Party a hundred years ago, but my father didn't tell me the details. Can you tell me about it? I really want to know about the glory of my ancestors."
What a child obsessed with the glory of his family...
The notebook was silent for a moment before giving Draco's answer.
"I'm sorry, my junior. I only use this notebook to record my experience with spells. I can't fulfill your wish."
Draco was a little disappointed, but was soon attracted by the words 'record your experience with spells'.
"Spells?" Draco wrote on it quickly: "Can you teach me, Senior? I know you are the most outstanding witch in Hogwarts at that time. With your guidance, I will definitely be able to defeat Harry Potter."
"Okay, my junior." The notebook agreed readily, "As long as you can study spells with me seriously, it will be easy for you to defeat any student in Hogwarts."
Draco was so excited when he got the response that he almost jumped three feet high.
In his heart, he had already begun to imagine what it would feel like to defeat Harry Potter and dominate Slytherin.
"but……"
Draco's thoughts were interrupted by the writing in his notebook.
"You have to listen to me. First of all, you have to keep our relationship secret. Otherwise, this notebook will be coveted and stolen or taken away by others, and I won't be able to teach you magic."
"Don't worry, ancestor." Draco promised.
"Also, I left some trinkets at Hogwarts. Once you help me find them, I'd like to share them with you." The handwriting was written again in the notebook.
"A little gadget?" Draco was obviously not interested. "A hundred years have passed, ancestor. I don't think the things you left behind are still intact."
"You can't imagine the secrets of Hogwarts, my junior." The handwriting reads: "No one will ever enter the place where I keep the secrets."
"I don't think we should take the risk, after all..."
Draco's handwriting disappeared before he finished writing.
Instead, there was that beautiful handwriting.
"Don't worry, my junior. Aren't you curious about the Merlin's secret treasure stored in that secret room?"
"What's it good for?" Draco asked curiously.
"Aren't you curious about why my spell skills are so outstanding?" the handwriting asked back.
Draco made the connection with the Merlin's Secret Treasure mentioned in the notebook, and all of a sudden, a new idea came to his mind. "Could it be because of that Merlin's Secret Treasure?!" Draco wrote hastily and scribbled in the notebook.
"Yes, child." The notebook replied, "It is because of this thing that I can have magical powers far beyond my peers."
"I will help you, ancestor." Draco looked solemn. He decided to help his ancestor fulfill his wish.
But he didn't realize that when he was talking to the notebook, a magical power was flowing along his arm and into his brain intentionally or unintentionally.
……
Although there were fewer people at Hogwarts on Christmas than usual, it didn't seem deserted at all.
Under the leadership of Professor McGonagall and Professor Flitwick, the students began to decorate the hall with Christmas decorations.
A group of children who stayed in school were busy, which added a lot of lively atmosphere to the festival.
The Weasley twins surrounded Percy and made fun of him, saying that his "P" did not mean Percy but prefect, which made Percy pick up a book and chase them to play.
"You're not allowed to be with the prefects today!" Fred shouted as he ran over. "You're allowed to be with us - Christmas is for family reunions, you bastard!"
"Youth..." Dumbledore sat on the high guest of honor seat, wearing a flower hat on his head.
"I guess Dumbledore must be gay." Ron whispered to Harry, "Look, the flower hat...tsk tsk."
"How could that be?" Harry scratched his head. "You can't say that just because he's wearing a woman's hat, right? What if he's just a cross-dresser? And even if he's gay, who would a wizard as good as him be interested in?"
Ron didn't answer, but just spread his hands. What he just said was just his intuition and complaint.
His mouse, Scabbers, was burying his head in his Christmas dinner, eating it with indulgence and relaxation.
"Compared to this, buddy." Ron began to suggest, "After dinner, let's go out and have a snowball fight. Fred and George just came to invite me and said they must let you join us."
"I think we have more important things to do, Ron," Harry whispered. "Now that you've received an Invisibility Cloak, why don't you spend more time wandering around the castle?"
"Good idea!" Ron smiled, then frowned: "That suit can only accommodate one person, I can't go with you."
"Don't worry, Ron, I can be invisible without clothes." Harry said with a laugh.
After getting used to his eleven-year-old body, Harry's magic power recovered somewhat, and at least now he could cast the Disillusionment Charm on himself without revealing his chicken feet.
Ron was about to speak when Hedwig chirped and flew in from outside.
"It's Hedwig," said Ron. "No wonder I didn't see it. I thought you forgot about it."
"It should be a gift for me." Harry stretched out his hand and took the small gift box that Hedwig dive-bombed over.
"Is it a Christmas present? Who gave it to you?" Ron came up and asked.
Harry picked up the small gift box, which didn't even have a note on it.
“I didn’t see the signature.”
He shrugged, opened the gift, and took out a small crystal clear bottle from it.
"Well, I wonder who sent this."
Harry recognised the gift immediately for what it was.
It's a small bottle of fomentin.
