Chapter 562 One Pot Takes All
Chapter 562 All in One Go (2st Update)
Amidst the roar of the engine, Sonoko's hands, gripping the steering wheel tightly, were already sweating profusely.
The van weaved through the streets of Tokyo, while the rearview mirror reflected several armed helicopters swooping down from the clouds.
She was so scared that she was trembling all over. She never expected that she would encounter such a big scene on her first time driving!
"Good! It's just an armed helicopter, isn't it? I've fought them before!!" Shiraishi E smiled contemptuously and immediately bought an anti-aircraft gun from the bandit shop.
He aimed and pulled the trigger.
"boom--!"
An anti-aircraft missile streaked straight into the sky, and the nearest helicopter didn't even have time to release its flares before it exploded into a fireball in mid-air.
The burning debris fell like a meteor, crashing onto a distant commercial street and triggering a secondary explosion.
"Well done!" Sonoko exclaimed excitedly as she looked up and saw it.
The remaining three helicopters immediately dispersed, their onboard machine guns spitting out deadly flames.
20mm bullets rained down like a storm, tearing jagged cracks into the asphalt road.
Startled, Sonoko slammed on the brakes, leaving a long black mark on the road as the van sped off.
This unexpected sudden stop actually saved their lives—the helicopter formation was moving too fast and flew right over their heads, causing all the machine gun fire to miss.
"Now!" Shiraishi E seized the opportunity to hoist the anti-aircraft gun and lean out through the broken skylight.
The crosshairs in the scope steadily locked onto the turning helicopter.
"boom!"
The main rotor of the second helicopter was accurately hit, and the unbalanced aircraft spun around like a drunkard and crashed to the ground.
The massive shockwave from the explosion shattered all the glass within a radius of 100 meters.
"Two left." Shiraishi Hui retreated back into the car and directly purchased more than a dozen missile-carrying drones from the Bandit Mall.
He held a box in his hand, and the moment the lid popped open, a dozen drones swarmed into the air like wasps leaving their hive.
Ran watched as Shiraishi E took out a controller that looked like a gamepad, her fingers flying across the buttons.
The drone swarm immediately split into two groups, forming a perfect tactical formation to encircle the remaining helicopters.
"Try this." Shiraishi E pressed the red button with a cold smile.
Each drone launched two miniature missiles, instantly filling the sky with a deadly barrage.
The helicopter pilots desperately released flares, but it was to no avail against such a dense attack.
Two brilliant fireballs burst into the air almost simultaneously, and burning debris fell like raindrops.
“We need to change cars!” Shiraishi E put away the controller and looked around warily. “This van is too conspicuous.”
After the three hurriedly got out of the car, Sonoko realized that in her panic she had driven the car to the vicinity of the amusement park.
"Let's go to the amusement park!" Shiraishi E decided immediately.
He grabbed Xiaolan with one hand and Yuanzi with the other, and quickly passed through the already closed side gate.
"Wait... I can't run anymore." Sonoko gasped for breath, supporting her knees.
Shiraishi E suddenly stopped, her ears twitching slightly: "Shh—"
In the distance came the sounds of hurried footsteps and the cacophony of radio.
At least twenty people are flanking us from three directions.
"Come with me." Shiraishi E lowered her voice and led the two into the entrance of the haunted house next door.
"How did they find us so quickly?" Xiaolan asked softly.
Shiraishi E did not answer, but instead reached into Sonoko's pocket and pulled out a miniature tracker.
He sneered and tossed the tracker aside.
"Let's go, teach them a lesson." He pushed open the back door of the haunted house and gestured for Xiaolan to go in.

In the monitoring room behind the modified truck, Vermouth sat back in a swivel chair, her long legs crossed, wisps of smoke rising from the cigarette between her fingers.
She glanced at Soto, who was staring at the monitor screen; he was practically furious!
A mocking smile curved her red lips: "Looks like the boss overestimated you. You can't even handle Sonoko Suzuki."
Soto's face was ashen, his fists clenched so tightly they cracked, and he yelled, "What's with that van? How come it has so much heavy weaponry?"
"Rotary machine guns are one thing, but they even have anti-aircraft guns?"
"This thing is so long, and the ammunition is so big, how did they put it in there? Can anyone tell me?!"
"And that high school student... what high school student would use these things?"
"I don't even know how to use it! Does he know how?" "..."
Vermouth couldn't answer either, but that didn't stop her from kicking him while he was down: "This is because your intelligence work wasn't done well, so don't blame anyone else."
"Mercenaries... looks like that's all they're capable of!"
Ignoring Vermouth's sarcasm, Soto took a deep breath, then pulled out his tablet, stared at the flashing red dot on it, and suddenly grinned maliciously: "Running into an amusement park? You're practically walking into a trap!"
He jumped up and yelled into the communicator, "Everyone assemble! The target is in the haunted house!"
Soto personally led the team, armed with MP5 submachine guns, and rushed into the entrance of the haunted house.
Vermouth watched coldly, then suddenly noticed something unusual about the tracker signal on Soto's wrist—the signal source seemed to be frozen in the center of the haunted house.
She raised an eyebrow, then silently turned off the tablet screen to prevent others from seeing it.
Someone is about to be in big trouble.
Vermouth watched Soto walk away and smiled.
At the entrance to the haunted house, Soto made a tactical hand gesture.
He had half the men guard the exits while he personally led an elite squad to break in.
As soon as I pushed open the creaking wooden door, I suddenly heard a metallic clanging sound overhead.
"careful!"
Before he finished speaking, several round hand grenades fell from the sky.
"boom--!"
The flames from the explosion illuminated Soto's contorted face.
Flames erupted from the windows of the haunted house, accompanied by screams of agony. When Sotoji fled in a sorry state, he was left with less than half of his original group.
When the smoke cleared, there were already seven or eight mutilated corpses lying on the ground.
The survivors retreated in terror, and one newbie even wet his pants in fright.
"Damn it!" Soto spat out a mouthful of bloody saliva and retreated from the haunted house in a disheveled state.
"Damn it!" Blood streamed down his face from a shrapnel wound to his forehead. "They actually planted grenades in the haunted house!"
Vermouth shook her head inwardly.
This arrogant fool clearly underestimated his opponent.
Soto dared not venture any further, for no one knew how many booby traps lay inside!
But if we keep waiting, their reinforcements will arrive.
Since that's the case...
Soto slowly revealed a sinister smile: "Since we can't capture it alive," he gestured, "burn the haunted house down!"
"Are you crazy?" Vermouth said incredulously. "If Sonoko Suzuki dies, the whole of Tokyo will be turned upside down!"
Soto shook off her hand, his eyes flashing with madness: "Aren't you the best at disguise? Just impersonate her then, won't that work?"
He turned to his men and roared, "Light the fire!"
Vermouth's nails dug deeply into her palms.
What she was worried about wasn't Sonoko Suzuki at all, but Ran.
But now that her phone has been confiscated, she can't even tip off anyone and can only watch helplessly as the flames gradually engulf the haunted house.
Suddenly, a burst of gunfire erupted from the direction of the side entrance of the haunted house. A frantic report came through the walkie-talkie: "Target is breaking out from the west! Repeat, target from..."
"Hahahaha! I knew they'd come out!" Soto laughed wildly as he led his team forward, warning Vermouth before leaving, "Stay put!"
Vermouth hated this feeling of not being trusted, but she was helpless and could only pace anxiously.
Suddenly, she heard a whooshing sound.
"Boom!"
Amidst the deafening explosion, a bloody arm flew over and landed right at her feet.
Vermouth recognized the Patek Philippe watch on her wrist—it was a Soto watch.
As the smoke cleared, a tall, slender figure slowly walked over.
Shiraishi E, carrying a smoky RPG on her shoulder, wore a smug smile: "You really think I want to escape? I just want to gather all you vermin together so I can wipe you out in one fell swoop."
Vermouth breathed a sigh of relief and then smiled, "I knew you could handle this!"
